ITALIAN SPINONE

Puppy (2, 1 absent) Best puppy Fordhams Lucoru Blow a Fuse at Cloudnine 8-month-old W/O dog who was well boned and presented a balanced picture. Head of correct proportions with divergent head planes and pronounced occiput, scissor bite . Well laid-back shoulder with good topline Coat and skin of the desired texture and thickness Hind movement needs to tighten up but as only a baby this should come with maturity.

Post Graduate (2, 1absent)

1st and RBOB Munro Talpalupo Lafayette 18-month-old W/O bitch Head of good proportions with divergent head planes , typical expression. Good bone and muscle tone with well developed forechest , moderately angulated at the rear with nice width of second thigh which allowed her to move with a typical spinone trot Would have preferred her to be slightly shorter in the loin which is where she lost out to the Open Bitch in the challenge.

1st BOB James Inostricani Fianna 3-year-old W/O bitch Beautifully presented with a coat of correct colour, length and texture. Lovely square outline, head of correct proportions with pronounced occiput and well-defined zygomatic arches Well boned with good muscle tone and body condition, correct length of loin. Good width of second thigh. Moved well on a difficult floor surface but would have preferred a lower tail carriage to complete the picture.

Puppy (7, 3 Absent)

What a lovely class of quality puppies

1st Longmans Braccorions Xoxo Well balanced 6-month-old bitch, more mature than the others in the class. Correct divergent headplanes , pronounced occiput with typical expression. Almost square in shape with long upper arm that gave a typical flying trot movement. Slight slope from withers to 11 th vertebrae and rise to a good strong croup. Won this class on her excellent movement.

2nd Goodes Braccorions Xpressive at Brackenvale (naf) Litter sister to 1 and many of the same qualities with good overall balance and typical head and expression. Just not quite as together on the move as her sister

3rd Smiths Teverlani Cama da Rosas

Junior (3, 1 absent)

1st and Best Puppy Smiths Teverlani Stick to ya Guns 6-month-old dog puppy mature for age and shown to advantage. Almost square outline with well laid back shoulders and good length of upper arm, well boned with strong well arched feet. Good bend of stifle with width in second thigh. Typical head and expression . Good sound mover . Just preferred skin and coat to winner of puppy

2nd Pipe and Groves Bushwacker Demetrio 13-month-old dog , slightly shorter dog than 1 with some maturing to do. Good head, moved well but preferred overall balance and topline of 1.

Post Graduate ( 5, 2 absent) a range of ages and types in this class

1st Pipe and Groves Bushwacker Demetrio (repeat)

2nd Smiths Teverlani Keep the Faith Another lovely 6-month-old baby from same litter as best puppy , well bodied, with typical head and outline. Would just have preferred a better tail set. Had to give way to 1 on maturity.

3rd Beechams Keks Canero Bass (imp)

Open ( 7, 5 Absent)

1st and BOB Angus’s Braccorions Ruddy Gorgeous, 3year old bitch of quality , very well balanced, typical head with pronounced occiput and desired chiselling, scored in front assembly with broad deep chest, correct topline short in the loin , strong bone and muscular thighs Moved very well.

2nd and RBOB Longmans Braccorions Quick Look at Calliscroft Male coming up for 4 years with lots to like about him Well bodied with good balance , sound, correct movement , Broad chest , correct topline , pushed 1 hard , just preferred the head on the winner.

WEIMARANER

Puppy ( 4, 1 absent )

1st and Best Puppy Andersons Hollieseast Chanel Chic, 10-month-old bitch, well balanced, correct colour and texture of coat. Lovely head with desired length and equal measurement from occiput to stop and top of nose to stop. Clean neck , leading into well laid shoulders and well sprung ribs. Very sound on the move

2nd Browns Desijem Don’t be a hero 10-month-old dog puppy , pushed 1 hard and had many of the same attributes as 1 , just preferred the slight maturity of 1.

3rd Cain Schonhund Show Mia Str at Lustamusk

1st and BOB Kalimor Summer Love (JW), 14-month-old bitch presented a picture of balance and stamina, Correct colour and coat, beautiful head and expression. Particularly scored in front, with straight , strong forelegs and well laid shoulder ribs reaching well back . Correct 12:10 ratio, good topline . Best mover of the day. Delighted to make her BOB

3rd Morris and Randall Kalimor Dottie JW

1st and RBOB Dobbs Oakswarren Ice Maiden 5-year-old mature bitch, correct colour and coat. Good head with correct length and prominent occiput. Good length of upper arm , chest well developed and deep. Moderately angulated with hocks well let down, muscular and well developed thigh. Moved very well and pushed hard for BOB

2nd Morris Kalimor Gem, Another nice exhibit from this breeding, 3 and half year-old bitch , losing out to 1 only on maturity. Again with a good head and expression. Well balanced bitch with correct angulation front and rear and desired height to length ratio.
