LABRADOR (RETRIEVER)

Thank you for a lovely entry, sadly depleted by many absentees. A lovely society who were friendly and gave a warm welcome, many thanks to my steward Candice.

1. Morrow’s Rhythm Lacey. 6 month old chocolate bitch who looked well standing, kind head with lovely expression, strong jaw with good ear-set and nice eye. Nicely angulated in front and rear with good depth of chest, good body proportions she showed some sound movement in profile but very loose and inaccurate on the out and back, BP.

1. Hughes’ Allanine’s On The Sea Shore. Nicely made young yellow bitch of 15 months who looked well both standing and moving, nice feminine, expressive head with good eye and strong jaw, good bone and feet, broad chest and well muscled all through, nicely angulated, she moved out with confidence in all directions, BOB.

2. Morrow’s Rhythm Lacey.

1. Hughes’ Sudeo Edgelaw. Preferred the head shape and proportions of my Junior winner, but strong jaw and broad skull. Would have preferred a cleaner, straighter front, angulation ok in front and rear and good body proportions, moved out ok and showed glimpses of sound movement in profile.
