1st Ebdon’s Flashback Aston Martin. 9 months. Showing good outline and overall balance. Good length of head with flattish skull and strong jaw. Long neck leading to well placed shoulders and good depth of chest. Short back with level topline. Short coupled. Well made hindquarters. Dense wiry coat. Parallel movement with reasonable drive. BOB, G4 & PG2



Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

1st Instance’s Keevasdream White Knight. Well balanced compact dog. Strong head but not coarse in any way. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulder and deep chest. Well sprung ribcage with short loin and level topline. Powerful hindquarters with well let down hocks. Excellent bone and feet. Moved well. BOB



West Highland White Terrier

1st Owen’s Egremont Male Order. Very smart puppy of just 6 months old. Well balanced with super attitude. Head slightly domed with eyes set wide apart and small well set ears. Good length of neck merging into well sloped shoulders. Compact body with ribcage of good depth all through. Strong hindquarters with well turned stifles. Excellent bone throughout. In super coat and condition. Moved powerfully. BOB, G2 and PG1.



Staffordshire Bull Terrier

1st Squibb’s Sikaistaff Coz I’m Happy. 9 month bitch. Good overall balance. Head of good breadth and depth with well filled cheeks. Strong, short neck with straight forelegs set wide apart. Good depth of brisket. Well ribbed back. Good hindquarters. Correct amount of bone. Moved steadily. BOB PG4.

1st Samson’s Sherlock Holmes Du Champ D’Eole To Silak. Well balanced all through showing good outline. Head of good length with slightly arched skull and distinct stop. Elegant neck leading to well laid shoulders. Good length of body with correct rib/loin proportions. Strong hindquarters. Coat of good texture. Moved well once settled. BP PG3


2nd Samson’s Silak Pendraig. Another well made puppy. Head of good length will well distinct stop and strong jaw. Ribcage correct with good length of loin. Not quite the strength of hindquarters as the winner. Another who moved on a good stride once settled.



O (3, 1)


1st Samson’s Talyot Magnus To Silak. Very smart dog presenting a good outline. A real stallion male. Head of decent length, skull slightly arched with distinct stop. Ears set high. Excellent length of neck leading to well placed shoulders. Ribcage well sprung with strong muscular loin. Scores in hindquarters. Well muscled with good length of upper thigh. Hind legs parallel when viewed from behind. Excellent coat texture. On the move he really motored round the ring. BOB & G1.


2nd Samson’s Silak Shasgav My Immortal. Good overall balance. Head of good length and high set ears. Long clean neck leading to well laid shoulders. Correct length of ribcage and body showing slight tuck up. Well made hindquarters. Coat of good texture. Not quite the driving movement of the winner.

1st Hartfield’s Gumshoe Shot In The Dark at Moshanta ShCM. Syke Terrier. Well balanced all through with good long and low outline. Good length of head with moderate back skull and slight stop. Strong, slightly arched neck leading to well laid shoulders and good depth of chest. Long ribcage. Strong, well angular hindquarters. In excellent coat of good length. Moved on a good stride. BOB & G3.

1st Gumshoe Shot In The Dark at Moshanta ShCM. Winner AVNSC. I later learned she won BVIS. Very well done.

1st Plummer’s Araki Dream Perfection For Tetsikarma. Tibetan Terrier. Very smart bitch. Well balanced all through presenting square and sturdy outline. Well shaped head with large round eyes and good ear set. Strong neck leading through to good lay of shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm. Level topline. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters with well turned stifles. Moved with good reach and drive. In excellent coat and condition.


2nd Rutherford-Judge & Prangle’s Clonageera Touch Of Gold. Irish Setter. Well balanced all through presenting good outline. Head lean with good stop and occipital protuberance. Correct sloping topline. Good depth of chest and well ribbed back. Long from hip to hock. In excellent coat and condition. Moved on good stride when viewed in profile - could be tidier coming in.

1st Prangle’s Heathclare Just Fizz. Irish Setter. Well balanced all through. Feminine head with correct stop. Soft expression. Long, clean neck leading to correct lay of shoulder. Chest of good depth. Correct topline. Well ribbed back. Hindquarters well made - long from hip to hock with rear cannons set square to the floor. Moved out well with good drive.


2nd Roberts and Spearing’s Linkenlees Laurina. Beagle. Well balanced. Sturdily built all through. Clean head with soft appealing expression. Well made forequarters with good depth of chest. Well ribbed back. Tail correctly set. Strong hindquarters with well bent stifles. Moved out on a good stride.
