Thank you so much to the committee for inviting me to take over from Carol Wellstead who was unable to fulfil her appointment.

My principal winners were:

Best Veteran in Show: Waldon’s Wot Dream May Come SH CM

 I found the following features in the winners of my classes , so to save repeating myself when doing the critiques for the classes , the breed points that I found which I was looking for were: Correct heads shape with a rounded skull and a good median line with well chiselled cheeks. Well defined stop and broad muzzle. Round eyes looking forward giving an appealing and intelligent expression. Long Lobular ears, set in line with the lower part of the eye and with a long silky covering. Long muscular neck which was slightly arched and falling into clean cut shoulders. Straight forelegs with good bone and short strong pasterns. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Toplines were falling away from withers to tail which was on line with the back. Loins short coupled with wide hips.. Well let down hocks hind hindlegs were parallel with no cow hocks, compact feet with deep pads Tapering tails with correct tail sets which never stopped waging when they were in the ring. Movement was effortless, Coats were silky and flat with the correct feathering on ears , chest , abdomen and legs .

I judged this nice boy a couple of weeks ago in a variety class and he is continuing to mature well. Well handled.

Slightly older than 1 and preferred the top line and furnishings of 1

4-month-old who is a worthy winner. Liked his head and furnishings.

This buff boy had good shoulders and good angulation.

 This buff boy ticked all the boxes that I was looking for in this breed. I’m sure he will be made up and I did not hesitate in giving him Best Dog and Res Best in Show.

 2 litter sisters competed in this class and very similar to each other, am sure they will swap places many times.

3 Year old brown Bitch who is maturing up , not the biggest of bitches but everything is in the right place . She showed her socks off today to take BIS. She deserves to be made up.
