DALMATIAN P (1,0) 1 Williamsons Shydally’s Ultimate Edition. 8 month, black spotted male. A balanced dog with pleasing overall shape and outline. Strong and muscular throughout with excellent thigh development, also displaying a typical topline. Moved straight and free giving the impression that he could work as intended (BPIB). PG (5,1) 1 Bridge, Meyer and Britton’s Akoni Athos Compte de la Fere. Black spotted male, nice head with dark eyes and lovely expression, elegant, slightly arched neck. Good overall shape and balance, well muscled and had super feet, moved well. 2 Williamson’s Decoda’s Captain Tom. Liver spotted male who was also of nice type, a little heavier set than my class winner. Good overall shape and balance, well muscled and moved with purpose. 3 Edens Steyndal Diamond White at Dalens JW. L (4,0) 1 England’s Dalens Bethany Char at Silverspot. Liver spotted female who cast a lovely shape, with well laid shoulders and good length of upper arm, she is balanced and feminine without being to slight. Moved really well, covering the ground and was very well handled (RBOB). 2 Bridge, Meyer and Britton’s Keiradal Moulin Rouge at Akoni. Black spotted female, a finer type than my class winner but again had nice overall shape and balance, good topline and rear angulation, moved well. 3 Walder and Swain’s Hafwenna Funhouse. O (3,0) 1 England and Edens Dalens Queen of the Seas at Silverspot. Black spotted female, nice type and shape was lovely, elegant neck leading into excellent shoulder placement and topline. Straight bone of correct substance and neat feet, moved with power and freedom (BOB). 2 Ioannou’s Spyrodragon Summer Forest. Nice head proportions and slightly arched neck of decent length, overall shape was pleasing but would have preferred a little more length in loin, typical topline. Moved well although seemed a little unsettled.
FRENCH BULLDOG P (5,3) 1 Timms and Henderson’s Olija Banana Split. Brindle dog with a typical square head and great pigmentation, correctly set bat ears giving a cheeky yet intelligent expression, nice length of neck into correct shoulder placement, good bone and neat feet. Nicely proportioned body with correct topline and tailset. Shown in excellent condition (BP). 2 Barrett’s Royal Topaz. Fawn dog with nice head shape and ears, good bone and decent front assembly, would prefer slightly stronger pasterns, cobby body and good overall shape, moved well. PG (5,2) 1 Ellis’s Eastonite Amaaze. A fawn bitch of lovely type and size, nice square head with well set bat ears, dark pigmentation and super dentition, short body with strong loin, balanced and with correct topline, moved well (RBOB). 2 Pritchard’s Ruption Knightcott Black Diamond at Violetta. Brindle dog of good type, nice head with good ears, pleasing overall body shape and topline although slightly longer cast than my class winner, moved well. 3 Barrett’s Thomas the Steam Tank. L (5,1) 1 French’s Ravenside Cest la Vie at Bincombefarm. Brindle bitch of lovely size and shape, pleasing head, square with good cushion and lovely bat ears, short body good topline and moved well both ways. 2 Vearncombe and Hale’s Rumption Knightcott Back in Black. Brindle bitch, another of good type with a pleasant head, balanced throughout with nice body and correct roach, good bone and neat feet, would have liked her carrying a little more body. 3 Rycroft’s Dechambeaux I’m a Believer. O (5,1) 1 Timms and Henderson’s CH/IR CH Chelmbull Stary Seas for Olija. A fawn bitch that just oozes breed type, her head is square with the right amount of cushioning, dark eye of nice shape finished with beautiful bat ears that were used throughout. Short compact body casting correct overall body shape, was sound fore and aft and holding her shape in profile, shown in tip top condition and handled well (BOB). 2 IR CH Olija Total Knockout JW. Brindle dog with lots to like, lovely head and expression, balanced with good overall shape and topline, moved well and was expertly handled. 3 Vearncombe and Hale’s Tytorro Paint it Black with Ruption Knightcott JW.
DANDIE DINMONT TERRIER P (2,1) 1 Simpsons Diddimont I Have a Dream. Pepper bitch with lovely head proportions, nice eye shape, size and colour and well set ears giving an overall feminine expression, good bone throughout and nicely laid shoulders, lovely length of body with typical topline, decent coat just coming through, moved well (BP). PG (2,0) Simpson’s Dandiroyal Dream Catcher. Pepper dog of lovely type, long and low with correct outline, super head proportions and large dark eye, large teeth with correct dentition, nice bone and angulation, double coated with required pencilling, moved straight and true holding his outline in profile (BOB). 2 Jackman’s Dryfevalley Golden Lullaby at Carnkie. Mustard Bitch, nice head proportions with enough strength for a female, large dark eye giving a sweet expression, nice length to body with correct topline, topcoat in lovely condition with deep colour, not moving as well as my class winner today. O (1,0) 1 Harcourt Morris’s Dainty Dandies River Mersey at Lenacourt. Pepper dog, good head proportions and eye of good size, shape and colour, substance to neck leading into well laid shoulders and good front assembly, long and low with good topline into nice tail set and carriage, correct coat texture, moved well (RBOB).
BEDLINGTON TERRIER SY (2,0) 1 Long’s Dunkeswell Pebble Run. Blue bitch of nice type, correct narrow skull with nicely shaped dark eye, teeth of good size and correct dentition, enough bone and correct roach and tuck up, was light on her feet and moved well. 2 Long’s Travellerways Godwin. 6 month old very raw baby, displaying balance and with a pleasing overall body shape, he was reluctant to move today but had good action when he got into his stride (BP). PG (3,1) 1 Poultney’s Jobanker Rocky Road. Liver dog, good head shape with narrow skull and tapering long jaw, small correctly shaped eye, well set ears and typical topknot. Was balanced and had good overall shape, moved well (RBOB). 2 Moore and Chudleigh’s Devleigh Dirty Dancing. Blue bitch, nice head with gentle expression, nice body shape with correct roach and tuck up, enough bone but would have preferred a little more substance, moved nicely. O (3,2) 1 Moore and Chudleigh’s Devleigh Wild Child. Blue bitch of lovely overall size and shape, beautiful head proportions, dark eye, thin ears and lovely topknot, she had the most endearing expression, straight forelegs and correct shoulder placement, correct roach and tuck up, moderate angulation, moved with distinctive Bedlington action (BOB)
BORDER TERRIER PG (4,1) 1 Chugg’s Earthtaw No Way Jose. A smart young dog, nice head with short muzzle giving the required otter like look, dark eye giving a keen and alert expression. Nice overall body shape, with ribs well back, correct tail set and carriage, nice coat with harsh texture, moved soundly and was well handled (BOB, BPIB). 2 Blamey’s Collytown Pumpkin. Nice head with a sweet expression, good front assembly and feet, body slightly shorter than my class winner, nice tail set and carriage, coat of good harsh texture, moved well (RBOB). 3 Blamey’s Milk Maid Magic Meg.
WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER O (2,0) 1 Cawley and House’s Ashgate Kirtle. A sweet headed bitch with dark eye, good bone and a balanced short body and level topline, nice tail shape and carriage, correct double coat which was prepared well, moved nicely with animation (BOB). 2 Domachowska’s Domedna Little Minx. Nice overall type with good head proportions and dark eye, short body with correct topline, would have preferred more neck, nice double coat, movement was ok although she was carrying a little extra weight today (RBOB).
FOX TERRIER (SMOOTH) O (1,0) 1 Mullan’s Glendraterra Blithe Spirit. A smart black and white bitch, lovely head with nice eye shape and size, she had a keen and alert expression and used her ears well. Straight front with enough bone. Lovely short back with strong loin and correct topline, moved well fore and aft (BOB).
JACK RUSSEL TERRIER O (1,0) 1 Chugg’s Chatmoss Chaterbox at Tufterslodge. A lively five year old dog who gave the impression of active and true terrier character as soon as he came into the ring. Nice head with cheeky expression, nice front with good shoulder placement, good overall body shape, level back and moderate tuck up, coat was rough and in good condition, nice straight action fore and aft (BOB).
BULL TERRIER (MINIATURE) O (3,1) 1 Marshallsay’s Risibully Girls on Film with Fergustaff. A tricolour bitch who is full of attitude and demands attention as soon as she steps into the ring, she was on her toes at all times and full of spirit as the standard requires. Exquisite head shape and eye giving the best expression. Strong front with quality bone, broad chest, excellent shoulder placement. Body of correct length and topline. She covered the ground with free, easy strides and was handled very well (BOB) delighted she later took Group One. 2 Risibully Anarchy in the UK. Brindle and White dog, another of lovely type and later found out he is the litter brother to my class winner, there is a definite air of quality to both. Nice head, typical egg shape with small, dark eyes, well off for bone with broad chest and nice shoulder placement, good overall shape and balance, moved with drive and purpose (RBOB).
PARSON RUSSELL TERRIER O (2,1) 1 Harcourt-Morris’s Lenacourt Lord Joules. A very smart young dog, nice wedge-shaped head with correct almond eyes with good pigment, nice length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight strong front with the right amount of bone, correct length to body and ribs carried well back, nice tail set and carriage, coat of good harsh texture, he moved very well covering the ground (BOB, BPIB)
CESKY TERRIER O (5,3) 1 Samson’s Talyot Magnus to Silak JW. Another of lovely type, typical head shape with dark eye giving the correct friendly expression, he is a lovely shape and has substance without being course. Nice length of neck and good shoulder placement, lovely mover with the brisk pace typical of the breed (BOB). 2 Samson’s Talyot Odin. Only a baby but so much to like, he was full of attitude and really caught my eye. Lovely head with super pigment, nice length of neck, quality of bone and nice front assembly, lovely shape with body coming on nicely, when settled he moved beautifully with typical action, only lost out in maturity to his kennel mate today (RBOB, BPIB) delighted to see him take Puppy Group One later in the day.
SCOTTISH TERRIER O (7,5) 1 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next at Glenaffric. Black bitch of really nice type, typical head, with correct almond eye with good pigment, neat well-set ears. Moderate length of neck into lovely short back, strong front and rear assembly, with typical deep thighs, this was apparent on the move where she moved with drive, covering the ground well (BOB). 2 Nixon’s Tout Nouveau Tout Beau du Clan des Petits Colonels Karmaristol (Imp FRA). Another lovely youngster, nice head and ear set with typical expression, slightly longer than my class winner but still short backed, lovely bone and well developed rear quarters, demonstrated on the move where he excelled (RBOB, BPIB).
NORFOLK TERRIER O (2,0) 1 Mullen and McFadden’s Watercroft Pop Muzic at Tamodan. A happy and alert dog with a lot to like, good head with correct oval shaped eye which gave him an alert yet cheeky expression, ears are well set and carried. Nice length of neck into lovely body type, short and compact with level topline which was carried well. Coat of good texture and well prepared, super movement, straight and true (BOB). 2 Clarke’s Watercroft Pickled Pudding. A very raw baby, sweet head and expression, nice overall body shape, short and compact, enough bone. When settled moved really well (RBOB, BPIB).
