Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge their delightful breed. Also to my super efficient steward Marion Sargent for keeping me and the exhibitors well organised. I was impressed by the depth of quality throughout this numerically small breed. Some lovely youngsters coming along. This breed is in great shape .

Veteran D/B (2,1)

1 Willmatt’s Ch Wilfnbell Midnight Cowboy. Super red boy who is not not showing his 8 years . Excellent head of correct proportion, great well set small ears, and a keen well shaped eye, Good neck into well place shoulders, well ribbed and a good level topline both standing and moving . Good straight front and well angulated rear, moved well both coming and going. Good harsh jacket, shown in excellent condition. Delighted to award him Res Best Dog .

Puppy Dog (1,0)

1 . Dennis’s Cotarinn Diamond Dust Over Yorchechi BP D Quality red puppy just 6 months old good head proportions with strong muzzle and good eye and ears which he uses to advantage. Lovely neck and shoulders, harsh coat coming through nicely. Moved well with good topline. Very promising .

Junior Dog (4,0)

1 Jones’s Wyeafon Eternity Flame. 16 months red boy, well presented in good jacket. Good head , keen eye and well placed small ears, good neck into good well place shoulders, well ribbed and correct body proportions. Good level topline, moved well .

2. Puttick’s Summerlocks Blue Banjo. Blue well proportioned head, with good eye and well placed ears. Good straight front and well angulated at the rear. Nice ribbing , moved well keeping a good topline .

3. Hassell’s Braylin Bagpipe.

Post Grad Dog (2,0)

1. Hassell’s Braylin Bagpipe. Blue with excellent coat for texture and colour. Good head, with good length of neck. Well ribbed boy of good proportions and moved well.

2. Ward’s Wyeafon Hawkeye Blue Nice head, well proportioned body and correct topline and tail set. Not quite as positive in rear movement as 1 but a dog of good type with a well textured coat.

Limit (2,1)

1 Hassell’s Braylin Bagpipe

 First show for his owner an him and after a few classes he an his owner were getting the hang of things an improving class by class .

Open Dog (3,0)

A good class with 1st and 2nd both lovely but of different type.

1 Ch Ruarokatiro Born To Run Super red dog, with excellent head and eyes, well placed ears which he uses well . All male with excellent bone and substance and excellent body proportions , firm hard level topline excellent tail set, good straight front and great rear angulation. Good coat, beautifully presented and the soundest of movement. Pleased to award him Best Dog and later BIS

2 Caldwell Owen and McCourts Silhil Super Trouper. I liked this dog very much, best of heads and elegant neck , good body with well sprung ribs and strong loin , beautifully presented with excellent jacket. Perfect movement and good topline and tailset Today I preferred the extra substance of the winner.

3 Hassell’s Braylin Bagpipe

Puppy Bitch (2, 0)

1 BP Res BB Pinkerton’s Ruarkatiro Lollipop. Of Bareve. For me the star of the show, just loved her. Beautiful type, correct well presented coat, just 8 months and already showing all the essentials, well schooled, and expertly presented she has a classic head, with keen eye and well placed ears , lovely neck, and correctly proportioned throughout. Excellent ribs for age and good in loin , very feminine and such a sound mover keeping her topline as she goes. The only thing wrong with her is that she does not belong to me .

2 Bax’s Taladayga Lollipopsicle. Another lovely youngster who was unlucky to meet 1 Giving a little away in age as only just 6 months but of super breed type. Great head and eye lovely proportions in body and coat coming in nicely for her age. Super deep red colour moved well with a good topline.

Junior B (4,0)

1 Nottingham/ McCourt’s Ruarkatiro Top of the Pops - litter sister to the puppy winner and slightly more mature. Another ouzing quality . Best of heads, super front and well angulated rear. Good topline and tailset, Moved stylishly maintaining her topline. Well presented coat of correct texture.

2 Mead’s Wilfnbell Witchblade another nice youngster, with a good head, nice eye and well placed ears, Good body proportions and good ribbing. Good topline and tailset. Moved well

3, Ward’s Wilfnbell Wonder Woman

Post grad Bitch (3,0)

1 Putticks Wyeafon Miranda Frost Liked the head eye and ears of this bitch, well ribbed with good bone and substance, moved well with good topline.

2.Knightly Brown’s Wyeafon Periwinke Blue, Nice head good eye and ears, good strong muzzle, Well proportioned in body and moved well.

3. Dennis’s Wyeafon Tickle Me Blue in Yorcrechi

Limit B (4,1)

1. Tyrell, Freer, Fosketts, Ruarkatiro Red Roisin for Wilfnbell Excellent headed bitch, in good harsh jacket. Good neck and shoulders, correct topline and tailset, moved well .

1 McCourt’s Silhil Angel Eyes BB Res BIS Beautiful type and well made all through. Lovely typical head, with keen eye and small ears which she uses well, straight front, good rear and moved stylishly whilst holding a good topline. Well presented an showed well .

2 Jones Ch Wyeafon Private Illusion. Blue , lovely front with good tight elbows, nice head and expression, well proportioned body and excellent movement - Close decision in this class..

3 Calwell-Owen’s Millvalley True Blue
