I would like to thank the committee for the opportunity judge Cockers at this well-run Premier Open show. It was such a privilege to have so many beautiful dogs to judge – and I thank you, the exhibitors for this. All had super temperaments and turned out to perfection. I must also thank my stewards, who did a superb job. Delighted to hear my BOB win Group3.

Spaniels (Cocker)

Puppy (14/2)

1st Grice KYNA MACKENZIE – this young blue roan D was certainly enjoying his day – such a happy disposition. Good head with square muzzle, full dark bright eye – correct eye set – muscular neck - Compact outline and lovely rear quarters – hocks well let down – moved with drive and purpose when settled BP

2nd Bayliss SHIREPARK SIR FRANCIS DRAKE BY WILANORAH

A larger d – again shown in full silky coat – pleasing head with round eye and alert expression – legs well boned and nice compact feet – moved well but preferred the lively action of above.

3rd Griffin GRIFFIAL MAKE IT COUNT

Junior (14/2)

1st Norris JOALDY MR HAPPY AT AMARANTH this solid black D had the most amazing shiny coat – such a pleasing head with good foreface and strong muzzle – correct reach of neck – good forechest – level top line into well-muscled rear quarters – moved in a happy manner. Res BOB

2nd Griffin GRIFFIAL LOVE RESCUE ME solid tan/black B with such a sweet feminine head and kind expression – good forechest and good length and spring of rib . – level topline – well rounded rear quarters – moved well.

2nd Share-Jones SHAREMEAD GOLDEN SPARK good sized solid red D – in full coat – pleasing head with good dark eye and strong square muzzle – well match front and rear quarters – level topline – good spring of rib – short well let down hocks – moved with drive

2nd Tomlinson MILALDER SILVER STAR smaller blue roan b - such a feminine head and expression with all in proportion – good neck – super padded feet and correct bone – good depth chest – level topline – correct tail set – moved well

1st Skinkfield/Lester QUETTADENE QUEEN OF STARS JW

Such a sweet feminine B with a glint in her eye! – a delight to go over – balanced head with good pigmentation – muscular neck - compact body – with good forechest and dept and length of rib – super muscled rear quarters into short well let down hock - tight well padded feet – moved effortlessly with good drive and happy manner Delighted to award her BOB and Gp 3.

2nd Watson/Wildman OKTUMI BOBBY WEE DAZZLER A nice sized blue road D - well presented with full silky coat – masculine head with gentle expression correct dark eye – strong neck – well laid shoulders - good forechest – level topline – well muscled rear quarters – moved out with purpose.

3rd West SHEIGRA SIMPLY A STAR JW

1st West SHEIGRA SUPER SPECIAL JW very pretty headed bitch with lovely dark eye and expression. Compact body with good depth and spring of rib – muscled rear quarters - well set tail .. always wagging – moved well.

2nd Beever SNOWGATE PARTI OVER TO DANDY JAN blue roan D in good coat – pleasant head – good front and rear angulation – good fore chest – level topline – preferred movement on above.

3rd Whiting ANNILANN MISTER ALLSORTS JW
