Thank you to the WCOW committee for this appointment, very accommodating and friendly. A huge thank you to those who entered after a busy day judging at Welsh Kennel Club first. A good atmosphere with plenty of support. Thank you to my wonderful stewards also.

Special Award Junior Dog or Bitch

1st Wheeler’s - Ranveli Diki Diki - Well where do I begin, he was real treat to judge. Striking light brindle in colour. Super shape, in proportion with gentle rise over his loin and not overdone with his rear quarters, but standing over ground. Clean head, strong jaw and pleasant expression. Neck of good length. Excellent shoulder placement. Chest was correct shape for age. Lovely underline. Effortlessly moved around a good sized ring with good foot placement. True coming and going. Expect a bright future.

2nd Smeath’s - Royaltour Storm Minime At Willingwisp - Another smart youngster who impressed. Darker brindle, good overall shape, with delightful feminine expression and clean flow to her topline. Neat ears and head shape. Good neck with strength. Lovely lay of shoulder leading to straight front. Good shape to her chest and ribs of good length. Good underline also. Strong loin leading to well set hips and well made rear. Good bend to her stifle. Moved true coming and going and covered the ground well around the ring. Look forward to her developing.

Special Award Lionel Young Memorial Members Open Class

1st Boggia’s - Falconcrag One For The Team At Boughton - Very smart girl who impressed. A well balanced girl in excellent condition. Pretty head with expressive eyes dark eyes, ears nicely set. Good neck of strength leading to a well made front assembly. Lovely depth of chest, with both width and length too. Loin was strong with a nice rise. Well made rear quarters and moderate. Covered the ground well with minimum effort and was true. Good bone throughout.

2nd Wood’s - Ardencote Destiny’s Child – A pretty girl of good size and bone, in proportion throughout. Good shape to her head. Strong neck and a well made set of shoulder. Good depth of chest and well ribbed. Strong loin leading to a well made rear. Good width to her thighs and with muscle. Covered the ground well and was true.

JHA Class

12-16

1st – Madison Potter – A pleasing handler who was attentive and focused. Used the ring well and was fully aware of judges positioning throughout. Good table work and moved the dog and at an appropriate speed. Good luck for the future.
