Breed: Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired)

Dachshund - Miniature Smooth Haired

I would like to sincerely thank the Officers and Committee of Darlington Dog Show Society for inviting me to judge two varieties of the dachshund breed at this prestigious show.

MPD (5) 1. Hanney-Mitchell, Mrs F Bronia Chayce, very promising puppy with all the construction in its rightful places, he has a reach and driving movement to display the complete picture. BPIB. 2. Scott, Mrs Emma & Scott, Mr William Bronia Chevalier, well-constructed male, just not quite the same reach and drive as the winner. 3. Wilson, Mrs Lynne Shantallah Secret Shadow At Linburndax. PD (1) 1. Metcalfe-Bilgin, Mrs S Metadale Due Diligence, just out of puppy, excels in head and bend of stifle, super underline. JD (1) 1. Jennings, Miss J Marvale A Royal Affair,) A heavier well-made male, who carries himself well and is sound in his rear movement. PGD (2) 1. Jennings, Miss J Marvale Northern Cardinal At Jenivon, well made male due to his carriage of extra weight, muscular body, moved soundly with presence. 2. Gilbert, Miss Jennifer Linburndax Rachs Tru Haggis, lovely head, little too much height ratio for me personally. LD (2) 1. Mason, Miss A Teckeltown Master Piece Jw, like this boy’s outline a lot, he has a super attitude with excellent angles throughout. 2. Coxon, Lovaine D'arisca Drives A Daimler, love his name, shorter upper arm made his appearance appear overloaded in front. OD (4) 1. Scott, Miss C M Wolferlow Will Scarlet, I gave this boy a reserve challenge certificate as a youngster, he has matured his earlier promise and developed into a well-constructed and sound mover, I found him to be my winner today once more and awarded him his third and crowning CC. 2. Moes, Mr C J & Williams, Mrs R Ch Cwmdarhian Jesse James, unlucky to meet the winner today, this boy is an excellent exhibit in both going over his construction and accessing his movement. RDCC. 3. Tite, Mr J Ch Ayseebee Twinkling Star. VB (2) 1. Cumberland, Mrs Janice & Cumberland, Miss Rachel Mumysami Miss Solitaire Sh.Cm, 9 yr old, showing her age a little today, had a lovely front and body but rising up on the move, loved her attitude, which won her BVIB. MPB (3) 1. Hanney-Mitchell, Mrs F Bronia Clariss, another classic exhibit which shows great potential throughout her construction. 2. Coxon, Mrs Lovaine D'arisca Devoted, same remarks apply here as to the winner of this class, I am sure they will be changing places from show to show. 3. Edmondson, Mrs J Shantallah Secret Affair. PB (8) 1. Callow, Mrs Andrea Garthorne Glenda, headed the best quality class of the day, lovely type and mature for her tender age showing off a super outline at all times. BPB. 2. Mitchell, Miss Emily Bronia Camille, smaller than winner, she just needs to mature, as the same remarks apply. 3. Metcalfe-Bilgin, Mrs S Metadale Dora The Explorer. JB (9) 1. Metcalfe-Bilgin, Mrs S Metadale Legacy Lives On, my notes say how much I liked this young girl, very smart on the move, with typical head carriage and presence. RBCC. 2. Tite, Mr J Rijobeau Ella Vaday (Naf) well-constructed, smaller than the winner, good outline. 3. Bell, Mrs L Tolberg Eostre Jw. PGB (5) 1. Jennings, Miss J Jenivons Miss Marple, I did not find this bitch well balanced, there are some parts I would want to improve. 2. Wilson, Mrs Lynne Shantallah Moondust At Linburndax, same remarks apply as to the winner of this class. 3. Herald, Mrs R & Miss S J Winterfield's June of Arabia. LB (4) 1. Blackburn-Bennett, Miss Heather Stargang Song Of Ice N'Fire, I liked this bitch a lot, she had good solid construction, I did not like her tail carriage when in profile moving. 2. Roberts, Mrs E & Smith, Miss C Sonora Ginger Snap for Rayol, needs to use her body more to fulfil her full potential, sound mover both fore and hindquarters. 3. Mason, Miss A Teckeltown You're the One JW. OB (7) 1. Moes, Mr C J & Williams, Mrs R Cwmdarhian Ginger Snap, well-constructed honest made bitch, looked a picture stacked and had excellent reach and drive on the move which made her my winner today. CC and BOB. 2. Coxon, Mrs Lovaine Sundsdal's Black Cadillac to D'arisca, super bitch of true D’Arisca type unfortunate to meet the winner. 3. Cross, Mr L J Loggeta Pickled Lilly JW.
