Thank you to the officers and committee for this, my first cc appointment, and many thanks to the exhibitors for accepting my decisions so sportingly. Thanks also to my steward for the smooth running of the day. I was disappointed with the size and condition of the ring, I feel that it affected the placings on the day as some of the exhibitors were unable to show their charges to full advantage. I found temperaments to be good but a number of exhibits were shown in a dirty condition, and several were carrying excess weight, which spoiled their movement, especially coming down the hill in the ring. A few light eyes creeping through which is a concern, and size appears to be an issue again, especially bitches. That said, I was pleased with all my winners and was happy to see my best puppy shortlisted in the group.
