I was really pleased to get the invitation to judge at Working & Pastoral Breeds

 Association of Scotland. I would like to thank the committee for inviting

me and thank the Boxer exhibitors for the sporting way they accepted

my decisions. I was also really pleased to see that my entry was the

 highest in the group. After not being around the show ring for the past

 couple of years I was pleased with the overall quality of my entry

Minor Puppy Dog 4:0

1st Surfstone Get Carta (Miss V Bell) 8 mth brindle of great quality, square

 in outline, typical male head still maturing as you would expect for a puppy

of this age, lovely dark eyes with excellent pigmentation, great mouth with good

width of jaw, straight front with ample fore chest, good width of thigh which

helped him move effortlessly around the ring. Pleased to award him the class

2nd In Terrogationg Newlaithe (Mrs C & Mrs V Beardsell & Van-Beck) 6 mth

 brindle, typical head with correct skull to muzzle proportions,

 dark expressive eyes, ample neck onto correct shoulders, good front assembly,

 nicely bodied up for his age square in profile showing off a lovely outline,

well muscled quarters, strong firm back which he held on the move covering

the ground well. not as mature as 1 at present, but am sure these two will

 change places in the future,

4th Borestone Secretariat (Mrs F & Mr Dr & Miss R Neilson & Neilson & Connell)

Puppy Dog 5:1

1st Boxania Romanoff to Jeddhi (D & S Mccarthy & Gething) 9 mth dark brindle a very

 raw but exciting prospect. Dark brindle who has all the essentials and with time he could go all the way, nicely balanced typical head dark expressive correct eyes with a well-defined stop, good depth and width of muzzle, good mouth, strong arched neck with a good reach onto correct shoulders. Good front assembly with a great fore chest, of correct width and depth, strong firm back leading to correct tail set well developed hindquarters with good

angulation allowing him to move with great purpose and drive. BPD

2nd Macbarra Kickin Up A Storm at Glenauld (Misses L & S Mair) another raw but

exciting youngster who comes from a long line of top winners and is

beautifully presented. Not as far on in terms of maturity as class winner,

 but is full of potential and I would expect him to go far in the future. 9 mth

 b&w beautifully balanced clean head of correct proportions, dark eyes with good

 pigmentation and kind expression, neck flowing onto correct shoulders with

 good reach, straight front, ample bone, and tight feet, square in outline and so

well balanced throughout, still very much a baby moved out well.

Junior Dog 4:2

1st Sashbob Double Oh Seven with Berwynfa (Mrs C Loasby) Very well presented

 and shown in hard pristine condition as always from this top kennel,

 13 mth b&w square in outline, beautifully balanced clean head, dark eyes with

 a kind expression strong arched neck with good reach which he really uses when alert,

 well off for bone, plenty of fore chest, correct shoulders leading onto a short firm back

 good width of thigh, moved with purpose showing great reach & drive.

2nd Lynshanes Sky Walker (Mr A & Mrs M Murphy) 10mths lovely outline, typical head of good proportions, strong neck, with good reach straight front with pasterns which should tighten with maturity. Handled to his own and his owners best advantage making most

of the ring.

Yearling Dog 5:1

1st Suelez Victorious at Maranseen (Mr G & Mrs M Seeney) 20 mth dark b&w

who is so well put together and well balanced throughout, he is maturing nicely

since I last seen him and is now on his way to becoming the finished article.

Classic boxer head which really defines him with great skull to muzzle proportions, beautiful dark eyes, full of mischief, lovely arched neck, with great reach, straight front, with good

bone and tight feet, square in profile, nicely defined quarters,

overall a beautiful male shown to his full advantage and one I was pleased to

be given the opportunity to judge. This young male really does need a much bigger ring to show off all his attributes but performed enough to enable me to award him the RDCC.

2nd Surfstone Master Spy (Miss V Bell) 20 mth b&w male of great quality, lovely outline coat in beautiful shiny condition, typical clean boxer head, , dark eyes with lovely

expression, strong neck, straight front with tight feet, good bone, shown in very hard

muscular condition with very strong rear quarters which helped him move

effortlessly around the ring.

1st Boxania Roamin Around at Rameleon (Mrs E & Ms S Woolliss & Flintoft) A tall

upstanding 26 mth dark b&w male, who displays great maturity and quality in depth lovely head which is so well developed and of correct proportion, good width of muzzle, with a great mouth dark eyes correct ear carriage, strong muscular neck with good reach which he really shows off, straight front, with plenty of bone, good depth of fore chest, leading to strong correct shoulders, slightly sloping top line, complimented by strong rear quarters which give him that powerful rear action which he displays so well on the move.

2nd Glenauld Arthur Shelby (Misses L & S Mair) Beautifully presented as always from this kennel, 2 1/2-year-old b&w. so nicely put together. Beautiful head of correct proportions which is totally balanced throughout, good width of muzzle, good mouth, correct stop, dark eyes with good pigmentation, lovely reach of neck set on correct shoulders, straight front with plenty of bone, tight cat like feet, excellent fore chest, compact in body with slightly sloping top line, well defined rear quarters with good angulation, moved well.

Limit Dog (6:2)

1st Maranseen Linesman at Berwynfa (Mrs F Pynegar) a very smart 4 year old shown in

hard pristine condition, masculine head of correct balance between muzzle and skull dark eyes with a very appealing expression, good width of muzzle, great reach of neck onto correct shoulders, ample bone, super front assembly standing straight and true, well off in fore chest, tight feet, strong top line, well muscled rear quarters, showed his socks off , showing great purpose and drive on the move.

2nd Olleyville James Dean at Whirlobox (Miss M Littlewood) tall quality male of substance, masculine head, good mouth, dark eye, keen expression good reach of neck, plenty of forechest, pleasing outline, great condition and muscle tone, moved with ease around the ring overall shown to his full potential by one of our up and coming young handlers who really does get the best out of her dogs.

1st Ch Galicar Investigating with Limubox JW (G L & J Brough & Cairns) One I have admired since first seeing him as a baby puppy, and he doesn’t disappoint, now a 5 year old male competing with the top winners. He is beautifully put together and so well balanced throughout. Classic boxer head which really defines him with great skull to muzzle proportions, beautiful dark eyes, full of mischief, lovely arched neck, with great reach, straight front, with good bone and tight feet, square in profile, leading to well defined quarters, which he uses to his advantage moving with pace and precision displaying all the qualities that make him one of the UK’s top winning boxers. I was pleased to be given the opportunity to judge him and award him the DCC BOB Group 3

2nd Ch Glenauld Stormzy (Misses L & S Mair) b&w another dog who I was looking forward to judging, beautifully presented in hard pristine condition,classic male head lovely dark eyes with a keen expression, good width of muzzle, good mouth, strong muscular neck, onto correct well laid shoulders, straight front, excellent bone, firm top line, strong rear quarters enabling him to move with great purpose and drive. .

6 mth b&w.I absolutely loved this puppy bitch and I will be certainly following her show career with great interest in the future, loved her correct proportioned feminine head, broad skull and muzzle, beautiful dark melting eyes with an expression that shouts out boxer, gorgeous arched neck, correct shoulder placement, straight front , tight feet, overall very well balanced and looked beautiful in profile, holding it together on the move, in pristine condition, moved with drive and purpose, handled very well. Pleased to award her the class and see her go on to win BPIB and Puppy Group 3

2nd Surfstone Miss Dior (Miss K Harrington) A very smart dark brindle bitch, sharp in outline, who really does tick all the boxes, beautifully presented in great condition, lovely clean head which needs time to develop, dark eyes giving a lovely expression, good reach of neck, straight front, tight feet, moved great for a youngster.

11mth b&w well presented , pretty feminine head, dark eyes with an appealing expression, good reach of neck, straight front, a little low on pasterns which can be forgiven at this age. , which should tighten up as she matures, a very raw youngster that needs time but has potential.

2nd Boxania Make Me Smile (Miss S Flintoft) b/w pretty feminine head but needs time to develop and mature, good reach of neck, straight front , tight feet good rear quarters , looked lovely in profile, handled gently and went well for her handler

Junior Bitch (4:1)

1st Norwilbeck Bellchime Zara (Mrs S J & Mr G Huckerby & Dowell) 15 mth b&w another high quality bitch from this kennel, beautiful head of correct proportions, lovely dark expressive eyes, broad muzzle and a good mouth , square in out line, straight front, tight feet, good reach of neck, correct shoulders short coupled leading to good rear angulation with

 well muscled thighs, moved with great purpose and drive giving a good performance for her handler.

2nd Bessbox Bombay at Wilflo (IKC) (Mr A W & Mrs A Anderson) Top quality brindle bitch , a very close class very little between these two bitches who on another day could easily change places, she made her handler work hard but when stood correctly she looked stunning in outline,l correctly proportioned feminine head with beautiful expressive dark eyes, arched neck of good length leading onto correct shoulder placement, straight front, with good bone, firm top line, correct rear angulation, needed to settle on the move but didn’t detract from her placing

1st Carkennar Blackstar (Mrs E J Adam) Dark b&w sharp square outline , well developed typical head with appealing dark eyes, good mouth correct lip placement, strong elegant reach of neck, good length of foreleg with tight feet, good layback of shoulders firm top line, which she maintained whilst on the move, overall a very smart well balanced stylish bitch who gave a great performance and impressed me

2nd Yeteb Little Miss Sunshine (Mrs E M & Miss K L McDonald) very pretty bitch who on another day could change places with 1. Lovely correctly proportioned head, dark eyes, well developed body for her age, but not overdone, straight front, and tidy feet, good bone, well laid shoulders onto firm back, good rear quarters for a youngster moved and handled well .

Post Graduate Bitch (4:1)

1st Nashville at Newlaithe (Mrs C & Mrs V Beardsell & Van-Beck) , b&w lovely in outline, head of correct proportions, totally balanced with a defined stop and muzzle, good mouth, lovely reach

 of neck evident forechest, straight front correctly placed shoulders well off for bone, firm top line,

 bang on tail set, strong thighs and correctly angulated rear quarters, moved effortlessly round

 the ring, immaculately presented.

2nd Olleyville My Sweet Georgia at Whirlobox (Miss M Littlewood) beautifully balanced throughout, lovely head piece dark eyes with a gentle expression, nice reach of neck onto correctly balanced shoulders, straight front, tight feet, looked lovely in outline so very well put together, correct turn of stifle, maintained correct balance around the ring for her young handler.

1st Carkennar Shooting Star over Glenauld (Misses L & S Mair) A stylish brindle bitch, a lot to like about this one, well developed typical head, plenty of forechest, ample neck neatly set onto shoulders, straight front, good bone, tight feet, well muscled rear quarters with correct angulation, , beautifully balanced throughout, moved well displaying reach and drive, a good class for her to win in strong company a very smart bitch who greatly impressed me

2nd Manic Picture This for Daervlish (Mr A J & Mrs D A Huggins) square in profile, well developed typical head with appealing dark eyes, correct lip placement, strong elegant reach of neck, good length of foreleg, good layback of shoulders firm top line, which she maintained whilst on the move, overall a very smart well balanced bitch

1st Ch Daervlish Elevation JW (Mr A J & Mrs D A Huggins) This beautiful bitch was another one that I was looking forward to judging and I wasn’t disappointed, square concise outline, feminine head, with the best of mouths, kind dark eyes with a pleasing expression, a lovely reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, she has style, elegance and is totally well balanced throughout, moved with great reach and style powering her way to winning the class and the BCC

2nd Ch Vandenrob Vanessa via Glenauld (Misses L & S Mair) Another top quality brindle bitch very little between these two who on another day could easily change places, square in outline, ,beautiful head qualities with dark eyes giving off a keen expression, straight front, with good bone, firm top line, correct rear angulation, with strong second thigh shown in very hard fit condition, which she used to her advantage on the move.

Unlucky to be in the same class as my BCC winner, but overall, a lovely bitch pleased to award her a well deserved RBCC
