It was an honour to judge at this prestigious show on their 50th Anniversary. Huge thanks to my very able stewards, Meriel and Rachel, and to the exhibitors for their support. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
Veteran Dog

1st Sh Ch Chanangel Sticky Wicket JW ShCM VW (Mrs A Chandler) Hard to believe that this dog is 11 years old. A quality dog who is so balanced throughout. Super head with a soft, gentle expression and well defined stop. Excellent front assembly and good forechest. Long muscular neck set cleanly into sloping shoulders. Strong bone, well sprung ribs. Good width to his muscular hindquarters which enabled him to power round the ring displaying plenty of push and drive. Shown in excellent coat and condition. CC, BOB, BV & Veteran Grp3
2nd Sh Ch Shannara Total Eclipse ShCM (Miss V & Miss E Ellis & Pilkington) A long time favourite of mine who was unlucky to meet the winner on such form. He is a quality dog from any angle. His head is superb with a melting expression. Loved him for his size, balance and breed type. Good length of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Muscular, well ribbed body. Strong wide hindquarters. Covered the ground well with great reach and drive. RCC

1st Kidenoan Mark Time for Merrem (Mr C & Mrs K Stone) This 9 month old puppy has an
attractive masculine head with a soft expression. Balanced front and rear assemblies. Good
bone and substance. Covered the ground well on a steady stride.
2nd Kidenoan Mark Up von Trannon (Mrs G A & Mr D T Lewis) ) Litter brother to winner. He
too has a handsome head and expression. Long neck leading to good shoulder placement.
Compact body. Just preferred movement of winner.
Junior Dog

1st Chanangel Jo Sugden (Mrs A Chandler) Loved this young dog. He has a gorgeous
head with correct shaped ears. Strong, clean neck. Balanced forehand, good spring of rib,
firm loin. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Moved well on a ground covering stride.
2ND Mymmsbrook Matador with Blythway JW (Mr P & Mrs F M Stevenson) Masculine,
balanced head on this dog although a tad broad in skull for me. Good body properties with
plenty of substance and good bone. On the move, he couldn’t match the stride of the winner

with a gentle expression. Liked his size and body proportions. Well developed hindquarters
with good bend of stifle. Moved with reach and drive.

1st Ferndel Dare to Dream (Mr M R Holley) Well proportioned head with a lovely
expression and chiselling beneath his eyes. Good bone and strength throughout. Long and
muscular reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Moderate bend of stifle. Excellent profile movement.
2nd Tigerrock I'm Your Man (Mrs C L Clarke) Lovely make and shape to this dog. Masculine head and expression with good eye colour. Strong bone. Deep brisket. Good width to his hindquarters enabled him to move soundly.

1st Chanangel Yorkshire Gold to Santallina (Mr I & Mrs D K Douglas) This dog has the
most beautiful head and expression. He has a strong, compact body. Lovely balance to his
forehand and rear quarters which are well muscled with deep second thighs. Covers the
ground well on a smooth gait.
2nd Bushwacker Happy Gilmore at Ruskinite (Miss J L & Mr P R Cocking & Barnaby) Another lovely dog who has lots of attributes. Correctly proportioned head with such a soft
expression. Quality bone and good substance. Balance and strength throughout his compact
body. Moved sound and true

1st Chanangel Mr Whodat at Cherryheath JW (Miss S Barkley) Loved this dog’s head. So
balanced and handsome with a gentle expression. Strong, well ribbed body with firm loin and
quality bone. Long muscular neck set cleanly into sloping shoulders. Muscular quarters and
strong hocks which he used to move with drive.
2nd Tigerrock Magic Woundabout JW (Mrs C L Clarke) This dog is very mature for his age.
He is well constructed and presents a clean and balanced outline both stacked and on the
move. Masculine head with a kind expression. For me, he is just a tad broad in skull. Lengthy
reach of neck, well developed ribs and strong quarters. He is sound on the move with good
tail action.

1st Sh Ch Glenbrows Revolution JW (Mr T D & Mrs H L Harrison) Judged this dog as a
6 month old puppy and delighted to see he has developed into a lovely example of the breed
and so worthy of his title. A stylish, eye-catching dog who is balanced fore and aft. His head is
handsome with a lovely dark eye. Long neck flows into firm topline and correct tailset. Good
ribs, bone and substance. His movement was smooth and ground covering, driving from the
rear.
2nd Jacranella Solo (Mrs J R & Mr C Sutherland) A smaller dog than the winner but still
with lots to like about him. Balanced, masculine head. Strong bone and well ribbed body.
He is clearly fit for function. Sound and positive on the move.

angle. Gorgeous head and expression. Loved her size and balance. She has strength and
quality bone without losing any of her femininity. Deep body, big ribs giving plenty of heart and
lung room. Her ground covering movement was accurate and precise with good reach and

2nd Sh Ch/nl Ch Bushwacker Gregory's Girl at Highclare (Miss J L & Mr P R Cocking & Barnaby) Very feminine bitch with an excellent outline. Well constructed body with balanced Front and rear angulation. Good spring of rib, strong loin. Sound on the move holding her topline

1st Renascent Bleaberry at Slapestones Imp TAF NAF (Mrs T C Ritchie) This puppy is so
well put together. Very pretty head with a soft, dark eye. Good depth and correct forehand.
Moderate bend of stifle. Her movement was so precise for one so young and displayed
her happy disposition.
2nd Pamicks Dream with Me (Mr M L & Mrs P Tew) This young lady needs time to fill her
frame. Pretty head with a dark eye displaying a soft expression. Correct shoulder placement.
Sound and steady on the move.

1st Sarabande Dancing Queen at Slapestones (ai) (Mr A, Mrs T C & Miss D T Ritchie) This
puppy presents such a clean and balanced outline. Pretty head and expression. So clean
over her neck and shoulders with good return of upper arm. Well developed hindquarters.
Moved really well on a smooth and free flowing stride. BPIB
2nd Kidenoan Mark That Bird (Mr K Moore) Well constructed puppy with balanced front
assembly. Head of correct proportions, would just like a slightly darker eye. Stands on lovely
tight feet.

1st Bowdonia Truly Scrumptious (Ms M Thomas) What an apt name for this lovely
youngster. I thought she was exquisite. So feminine with a beautiful head and expression.
Excellent front assembly and shoulder placement. Strong balanced quarters. She impressed
me on the move with her sound and accurate free flowing movement
2nd Helgen Avis (Mrs D J & Miss H K H Bonser & Hadfield) Good body properties and well
muscled hindquarters. Stronger in head than the winner. Sound and steady on the move.

feet. Very sound coming and going.
2nd Julita Raindance at Teaselwood (Mrs B M Ferguson) possesses a pretty head of
good proportions. Neck of good length leading to correct shoulder placement. Good topline
and tailset. Just preferred movement of winner.

Very pretty head with a kind eye. Good length of neck and layback of shoulder. Well ribbed
body of good depth. Well rounded hindquarters. Moved sound and true on a smooth
ground covering stride.
2nd Nyliram Hetty Wainthropp (Mrs A J Graham) Another lovely bitch and very close up to
winner. Super head and expression. Balanced angulation fore and aft. Well sprung ribs,
strong wide hindquarters. Just preferred topline of 1st. She has lovely tight feet. Moved
with reach and drive.

Two of my favourites headed this lovely class and it was hard to separate them. In the end, the deciding factor was maturity.
1st Sh Ch Crimicar She’s Electrick with Tigerrock JW (Mrs C & Mrs T Clarke & Sherlock) This bitch filled my eye. She is so balanced and well made. She has a beautiful head and
expression. Good forehand, strong muscular neck, firm topline. Strong, well ribbed body
and good width to hindquarters. Her accurate and precise movement was smooth and ground
covering with correct tailset RCC
2nd Sh Ch Glenbrows Rhapsody JW (Mr T D & Mrs H L Harrison) This bitch just oozes
breed type. She too possesses a beautiful head and expression. Loved her size, overall
balance and outline. Correct length of neck set cleanly into well laid shoulders. Wide, well
rounded quarters. She moved so well with excellent footfall.
