BATH CANINE SOCIETY - CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

Polish Lowland Sheepdogs

Held on: Sunday 29th May 2022 Judge: Mr. Russell F. Jones (Quemerford)

This has to be my favourite show. The show ground is so well looked after with plenty of room for everybody. All exhibits were clean and well groomed and the presentation on the whole is getting better. I appreciate the effort and time that you put into your dogs. It was a good size ring an it was a pleasure to see the exhibitors use the ring to their advantage. There were just a couple who need to keep an eye on the movement. Thanks for your sportsmanship on placings. Many thanks to the committee for the invitation and to the exhibitors for the entries.

PD (2,0), 1 Hillier, Mrs. & Mr. Ann and Peter, Mybeards Zip, (AI): An 11mth old B&W dog that is of a very pleasing type. His head colouring is predominantly black and is of a good type. He has dark eyes and a correct bite. His neck and shoulders are good and he has a good back and neat rear. He still needs to settle and is still loose on the move but has time on his side. He was nicely presented and well handled. Pleased to award him BP Dog and BP in Breed.     2 Harris, Mrs. S., Ponadto (Fci) Magic Black (NAF): Another B&W just a little younger and a little bigger than 1st. He has a good head and neck with a good front and nice back, also his back end is ok. Just let him self down on the move. I hope he settles down as I liked him. Two very nice puppies.

JD (1,0), 1 Harris, Mrs. S., Ponadto (Fci) Magic Black (NAF): As above.

LD (2,1), 1 Cousins-Brown, Mrs. T.A., Dorianblue Quizzical: A 2.5yr old B&W dog that stood alone in the class. A very smart dog, that was well presented which I appreciated. He has a good head and neat neck. I particularly liked his front and rear assembly, he has loads of substance and I loved his neat rear hocks. He was shown in good coat that was of a harsh texture. Pleased to award him RDCC. Well done.

OD (1,0), 1 Mottram, Miss L. & Hollis, Mr. A., Antos Via Rivendall At Mybeards (Imp Pol): A 3yr old B&W dog of good size. He has a good head, neck, neat front and back and strong rear. I would like to see him in more coat. That said his coat is of a good quality and he was well groomed. Being a little bigger the length of his coat may take a little longer. Growing length on a harsh coat is not easy and I appreciate the efforts in preparing this dog for show. He moved out well around the ring and out-moved the others on the day. Well handled, pleased to award him DCC. Well done.

VB (1,0), 1 Churchouse, Mrs. C.F., Mybeards Violet: An 11.5yr. old G&W bitch that is a sweet girl and of a smaller type. She has a nice head and neck, neat front and rear. She was shown in good coat. Moves out nicely, pleased to award her BV.

PB (1,0), 1 Cole, Miss L., Acaviste Pon Cenna: A 7mth old B&W puppy bitch that is a neat little girl, very feminine with a bright future. She is a nice shape with neat angles. Loved her rear assembly. Moved well. Will keep an eye on her, she moved out well. Pleased to award her BPB.

PGB (1,0), 1 Cousins-Brown, Mrs. T.A., Dorianblue Quintessence: Litter sister to the RCC Dog winner. Extremely neat bitch. She has a good head, eye and bite. Good length to neck and good front assembly. Good wither, strong back and good strong back end with plenty of substance throughout. She has a cracking coat on her and like the DCC I would like to see a little more, but it is not easy to grow harsh coats. She was steady on the move showing all her attributes, I liked her. Pleased to award her the BCC and BOB pleased to see her short listed in the group. Dog and bitch were two worthy CC winners. Well done to both.

LB (4,3), 1 Burdett-Coutts, Mr. & Mrs. K. & C., Tarnica’s Dior At Chrevle, (Imp. Che.): A 6yr old B&W bitch that is of a good size and type. She has a good head and neck and a good body. Neat front and rear. She was well presented and shown in good coat. Moved around the ring ok. Considered for the RCC. Well done.

OB (4,0), 1 Cousins, Ms. H., Am. Ch. Stonebrook O’the Possibilities, (Imp. USA): A 5yr old B&W bitch that is a very neat girl. Good head carriage, good neck and front and good depth throughout. Correct wither and back, strong back end and good angles. Neat hocks which she used to power around the ring. Pleased to award her RBCC.    2 Shrieves, Ms. L.J., Mybeards Hope, CW19, CW22: A neat 6yr old B&W that is of a good type with a good out-line. She has a neat head and neat rear. She was shown in good coat and moved out well.    3 Bransby, Mr. & Mrs. P. Mybeards Lexa: A 5yr old B&W bitch. I like this girl; she is very feminine and of a lovely type with a nice out-line. Such a lot to like about her. She was well presented and shown. Just let down on movement today.    4 Newton, Mrs. M., Ch. Ponadto Gossip Girl To Dorianblue, (Imp Pol).
