DRIFFIELD CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW

LAGOTTO ROMAGNOLO

VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Lightfoot’s Gaesten Just Jago at Joydon – This 12 year old defies his age and still can compete with the youngsters with his tireless movement. Compact & strong through the body with correct height proportions. Short, muscular neck. Good head with strong, wedge-shaped muzzle.

JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Mangham, Young & Duigenan’s Foogel Roberto at Onyxro (imp Fin) (AZ1) – Just 12 months. Lovely head with round eye. Wedge-shaped muzzle. Good height proportions and chest depth just to elbow. Compact feet and good bone. Level topline with slight slope to croup. Moved well with tail carried up on the move. Reserve Best Dog

PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Hamlyn & Hamlyn-Sharp’s Bransbubble High Neb – Loved the outline on this dog. Straight topline with the fall from withers to croup. Good rear angulation and turn of stifle, standing on compact feet. His head was moderately broad with strength in muzzle and large, round eyes. Moved with plenty of drive, free, smooth, and tireless. A pleasure to award him Best Dog & BOB.

OD (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Whittick’s Arcticbreeze Turbulence at Allsong – Good head with slightly shorter muzzle. Good proportions of hight to length showing a slightly square dog in outline. Chest dept to tight elbows. Moved true from all angles showing powerful drive.
2nd Van Gemert’s Rozebottel's Captain Of My Soul – Large sized dog but remains in proportion of a squarely built dog. Well-made throughout with correct front and rear angulation. On the move he was pulling away which spoilt his movement.

PB (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Mort’s Arcticbreeze Truth or Dare – 9 months old and won this class on maturity. Correct proportions in body and head. Strong, short neck leading to moderately well laid-back shoulders and narrow chest. Moved true and free with powerful drive.
2nd Whittick’s Allsong Nuova Luna – Just 6 months and still looking like a real baby, she had to settle for 2nd on maturity against an equally nice puppy bitch, but no doubt she will have a bright future. Narrow chest to front, compact feet, correct angulation and moves true.

JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Mort’s Arcticbreeze One And Only – If I was spoilt enough by the puppy class, another 9 month old puppy presents herself. Lovely head with correct planes, slight wedge, and muzzle slightly shorter than length of skull. Round, large eyes set well apart. Narrow chest to the front with moderately well laid-back shoulders and good rear angulation & turn of stifle. Straight topline showing correct slight fall from withers to croup. Moved well and true with effortless drive. Pleased to award her Best Bitch, Best Opposite Sex and Best Puppy.

PGB (5 Entries) Abs: 01st Mort’s Arcticbreeze Outbraker – Balanced bitch with good proportions and lovely coat texture and condition. Well made with moderate angulation in the front and well angulated rear. Good head with round eye and narrow, straight front. Moved well and true and was handled well. Reserve Best Bitch.
2nd Wilson’s Emmroche Dancer  – I loved this bitch for type and shape. Correct proportions and lovely head with slight wedge and muzzle rather blunt when viewed from profile. Moved true with good drive and effortless as she went round the ring. Her coat texture was just too soft and losing the curl definition.
3rd Hamlyn & Hamlyn-Sharp’s Bransbubble Roisin Dubh
Res Whittick’s Moonreed Warbler at Allsong
VHC: Lillicrap’s Mizani Sebio Lola

OB (3 Entries) Abs: 1 1st Mort’s Il Granaio dei Malatesta Strawberry Syrup at Arcticbreeze – Nice overall bitch. Round eye and correct muzzle and head planes. Made well and good proportions. Straight front, slight slope to croup and standing on tight, compact feet. Moved well.

2nd Lightfoot’s Gaesten Dannys Delight at Joydon – Smaller frame but remains square in appearance. Short, muscular neck leading to good shoulders. Wider in front due to her spring of rib. Moved well.
