DRIFFIELD CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW

SPANISH WATER DOG

VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Glaysher & Donaldson’s Prizelands Adormidera Jacsen Solo – Strong dog of medium size slightly longer than he is tall. Level back with deep chest and well sprung ribs. Round tight feet and strong bone. Medium sized ears and oval eye with correct proportioned head. Moved true with reach and drive to take Reserve Best Dog

JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Hodgkinson’s Sh Ch Zorrazo Quest For Success (Imp HRV) JW Esp J – I could watch this dog move all day with his brisk, athletic reach and drive as he powers around the ring. Longer than tall in proportions he is well made from his strong neck, though to his balanced angulation fore and aft. Strong level back which he held on the move, good depth of chest with well-sprung ribs. Muscular loin and second thigh well developed. Strong & elegant head with parallel planes, muzzle slightly shorter than length of skull. Finished in good coat with nice curl finished the picture for Best Dog and Best of Breed.

SBD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Wood’s Chanderhill Eagle Eye – Good bone and straight front with level topline. Strong head with correct flat skull. Moved OK.

PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Wood’s Chanderhill Eagle Eye – 1st Special Beginners Dog

OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Sh Ch Zorrazo Hey There Yogi Bear – Strong head with correct parallel planes and muzzle slightly shorter than length of skull. Short strong neck leading to good front angulation. Straight front and moved well.

PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st Capille’s Chanderhill End Of An Era – I was captivated by this 6 month old. Strong, short neck, level back, good depth of chest and well-sprung ribs for her age, correct longer than tall proportions and not too large. Good angulation fore & aft and lovely head. Her movement was so true and effortless for one so young. Pushed hard but did have to settle for Reserve Best Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed. I’m sure her time will come as she matures to take top honours.

JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Capille’s Lendevers Tempting Whisper – Lovely young puppy bitch with lots of like. Well-made and correct proportions. Moves well in front and profile but is currently a little close behind. Correct head planes with broad skull and good muzzle length.

PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st Capille’s Lendever's Quaint Tinsel – Still a youngster at just 18 months and still has a bit of maturing to do. I really liked her for size. Good head and parallel planes of skull and muzzle, which is slightly shorter than skull, she has a dark oval eye. Straight in front with round, tight feet. Level topline held at all times and good depth of chest with well-sprung ribs. Moved well from all angles and handled well. It was a pleasure to award her Best Bitch and Best Opposite Sex today.

OB (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Sh Ch Zorrazo Cheek By Jowl With Chanderhill – Taller standing bitch but still of the correct proportions. Lovely skull and muzzle planes and length. Well angulated fore and aft and moved well and with purpose keeping a strong level back. Strong bone.

2nd Glaysher & Donaldson’s Kurlibears September Aurora – This bitch presents a lovely outline of a medium, robust dog, slightly longer than tall. Good bone and while she moved true, she was a little flat and didn’t show the enthusiasm of the others here today.
