My thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this show and my thanks to all those who entered the show. A special thank you to my stewards who kept my ring running smoothly throughout. This was a long time in coming as originally, we were scheduled to judge in 2020 but as COVID hit us and everything was cancelled it was great to finally get here today. It was sad that Marj Barber was no longer with us to be here in person but I am sure she was watching us from above.

Sadly, the weather was not in our favour so for safety we had to judge inside in smaller rings and I am sure that this affected some of the bitch’s movement today but never the less the atmosphere was not dampened by the downpours outside and everything went well.

1st Adams Mrs G, Ch Zandahar Just Tiger Lilly JW ShCM.

I loved this 9 year old brindle who I last saw as a puppy and she has matured beautifully and still showing like a youngster. Typical head with beautiful chiselling to sides and exquisite expression from her dark triangular eyes carried well on her long neck. Well made in her front with shoulders sloping and excellent return of upper arm all set neatly around her deep chest with well sprung ribs. Her rear compliments her front perfectly with stifles well bent and covered in excellent muscle and strong well let down hocks. On the move she used all of her attributes to cover the ground with style showing excellent reach in front and great drive from her rear. Presented in excellent coat and well handled she just stole my heart today and I was pleased to award her the CC.

Beautiful shaded mask gold bitch who is nicely balanced throughout. Feminine head of correct proportions with long silky ears set nicely to sides and beautiful expression from her dark eyes. Well laid back shoulders to front with elbows tucked nicely in under her deep chest. Good strong rear with angles complimenting her front she moved with style around the ring.

1st Hall Mrs R.A. Saxonmill Majic Mirror.

Beautiful black and tan bitch at just over a year old. She has everything in the right proportions from her feminine head with good length of foreface, strong underjaw and dark triangular shaped eye giving that typical aloof expression. Good length of neck leads neatly down to her well laid shoulders, nice straight forelegs and strong forefeet. Her body has a deep chest with excellent spring of rib and ample length of back leading to a nice fall away at her rear with ring tail set on low. Muscular thighs to her rear with stifles well bent to compliment her front. On the move she covered the ground effortlessly with style showing excellent reach and drive. Presented in good coat and well handled I was pleased to award her the RCC.

2nd Dowd Miss C & Malia Miss A. Saxonmill Mirror Image.

Litter sister to class winner and again so typical of the breed she has so many of the same attributes as her sister. Beautiful to go over from her head of correct proportions to her well made front with good return of upper arm and set nicely around her deep chest. Muscular rear with angulation balancing that of her front she again moved with style around the ring.

Quality black and silver bitch well balanced in her outline. Elegant in her head with balancing length of foreface and a dark eye giving that look through you expression. Deep chest reaching to her elbows with well sprung ribs and a level back. Her front angulation is in perfect balance with her rear and well-muscled which she used showing reach in front and drive from her rear covering the ground well. Presented immaculately and well handled.

Brindle bitch of correct size nicely balanced and presented in good coat. Classic head with nice whiskers to sides and dark triangular eyes. Correct in her front assembly and set well around her amply deep chest. Muscular short broad loin and well bent stifles to her rear allowed her to move well around the ring.

Beautiful black bitch who is elegantly balanced and presented in immaculate coat. Loved her head with good length of foreface and mandarin whiskers. Dark triangular eye giving typical expression and good length of ears. She carried her head proudly on her long neck which led down to her well laid back shoulders with excellent return of upper arm. Her body has ample depth and spring to her ribs and she kept a level top line when moving. Well bent stifles covered in strong muscles to her rear with good length from hip to hock and to finish a nice ring tail set on low. She moved stylishly around the ring covering the ground with good reach in front and drive from behind.

Shaded masked gold bitch of pleasing proportions throughout. Correct in her head with nice dark eyes giving good expression. Good front with ample bone and a complimenting rear with stifles well bent and strong well let down hocks. She moved well around the ring and was presented in good coat.

Well balanced brindle bitch who was so very together on the day and presented in excellent coat. Typical head with aloof expression from her dark eyes and good punishing jaws. Correct in her front with forelegs straight and shoulders well laid back. Elbows tucked neatly in below her deep chest with good spring of rib. Ample length of back leading to her strong loin with good fall away at rear leading to a low set ring tail. Well bent stifles to her rear complimenting her front angulation perfectly. On the move she covered the ground effortlessly with reach in front and drive from rear.

2nd Hedge Mr B. & Mrs N. Unstoppable Happy Go Lucky (IMP SWE).

Very well made black bitch presented in excellent condition. Typical head with excellent expression from her dark eyes and long silky ears to side. Correct angulation to her front and balancing well-muscled rear quarters. Level in her back and deep in her chest. On the move her excellent conformation was used fully to cover the ground with style.

Brindle bitch presented in excellent condition and beautifully balanced throughout. Loved her feminine head with typical expression from her dark eyes which she carried proudly on her long muscular neck. Sloping shoulders with balancing return of upper arm to her front and nice big feet. Ample depth to her chest with ribs well sprung and a nice level back leading to a good fall away at rear with ring tail set on low. Muscular rear with stifles well bent and good strong hocks. She moved effortlessly around the ring with style showing great reach and drive in her action.

Black masked gold bitch presented in good coat. Good head with strong underjaw, mandarin whiskers and classic aloof expression from her dark eyes. Neatly made front with good muscle and elbows tucked under her deep chest. Well bent stifles to her rear with good muscle which she used to drive well when moving around the ring.

Good length of neck which she used to carry her head proudly. Well-constructed in her front with shoulders sloping and elbows tucked under her deep chest. Broad well-muscled loins and a nice fallaway to her rear with ring tail set on low. Muscular thighs with stifles well bent and complimenting to her front. On the move she demonstrated great reach in front and drive from behind.
