Windsor 2022-Jack Russell Terriers

Thank you to the exhibitors for a good entry which gave me plenty of food for thought. Type seems to be settling down in this breed which made my job a little easier.

I was pleased to see that rear movement has improved a lot since I last judged any number of Jack Russells. Unfortunately fronts were not quite as strong.

1st: KAY, Mrs D Jackopeaks Princess Peach VW- good coat and condition for age and still very sprightly. She could do with a bit more bone and substance. Delightful temperament.

1st: CORBETT, Mrs Ann & ROSELL, Ms S Soletrader On Your Marks- this boy caught my eye immediately as he is typy. Very masculine. Lovely head and looks at you right. Good mover in all directions and well presented and handled. I particularly liked his front. Maybe just a little too much spring of rib for me but is a quality dog and a real show dog.

2nd: THORNLEY, mr DAVID & SMITH, Mrs Joy & SMITH, Mr Fr Fast Love With Locheil- good sized one with a decent head. Could not match the winner on movement today.

3rd: NOWOSIAD, Mr Sebastian Cronos Ziemann
