A small entry, but some top quality exhibits. I’d like to thank all the exhibitors who made the long trip down on a Monday & only wish I had of had more than just 2 CC’s to award. 

PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HENSHALL, Gemolli Midnight Magic, 2yr old Blue wh/trim, up to size, long lean head, good ear set, long neck, good bend of stifle, correct rise over the loin, deep brisket, lovely condition, was a bit of a fidget standing, moved ok, was a bit proud of his tail.

LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: POWELL, Chrisford Rough Rider fawn wh/trim, up to size but well proportioned & still elegant. Lovely dark eyes with a sweet expression, good topline which he kept on the move.  Correct tail set. Moved soundly both fore & aft. Handled & showed to perfection.

2nd: SMITH, Minitopo Thoth, 4 yr old blue wh/trim, up to size. Nice head & ear set, good reach of neck, front could be better, correct topline. Both handler & dog would benefit from more training, movement was erratic.  

OD (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: BIRD, Ch Tamiskene Rhumba JW, fawn 6 yr old. A very typical IG who conforms to the breed standard so well.  Well balanced. Lovely head & eye, long neck into well laid shoulders, deep brisket, correct topline that he retained on the move, correct hare feet, totally sound both fore & aft with correct lift & reach in front. No exaggerations, elegant & shapely.  Would like to see a little more enthusiasm on the move but did all he was asked for & was so very steady he never put a foot wrong. CC & BOB

2nd: WESTMAN, Maplewood's I'm Sexy & I Know It. Red wh/trim totally different type to 1 but still a lot to like. Good head with dark eyes & lovely expression, straight front, but rather broad, deep brisket, correct topline which he kept on the move, excellent bend of stifle, correct low set tail, sound mover fore & aft with the desired lift in front, fantastic condition with a glossy coat, I would prefer slightly more length of leg to complete a more elegant picture & he tends to rock back on his pasterns when stacked which spoils his outline, but once on the move he relaxes & settles. RCC    

3rd: HENSHALL, Mrs Christine Gemolli The Magician

VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HENLEY, Ch Turigner Thunderbolt JW. Fawn, 11 yr old & what a credit to his owner. Fantastic condition, lovely head & expression, correct bite & fabulous teeth for his age, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, perfect straight front, correct hare feet, good topline standing but tends to flatten on the move & he was flagging a bit today. Moves totally parallel both fore & aft but I would prefer some degree of lift in front as he tends to goose step. Well handled. BV

PGB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CENTELLA RODRIGUEZ, PIZPIRETA DE TALONKAN: Blue 23 mths. This exquisite little lady took my eye the minute she entered the ring. Perfect size, she exudes femininity & elegance, prettiest of heads & expression, lovely rose shaped ears which she used to advantage, straight front with fine but strong bone, long arched neck into well laid shoulders, she needs to drop in brisket a little bit more with a bit more maturity but has all the right curves in all the right places. Strong hind quarters. She moved exuberantly & soundly with the correct flexion in front movement. In the challenge she started to lose concentration but I’m sure this will come with more experience for both her & her handler. CC

LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: THRASIVOULOU. Chrisford Rumour Has It With Skilaki. Strikingly marked blue & white. Feminine with lovely head & expression. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front, good topline which she kept on the move, correct low carried tail, moves soundly coming & going, strong hind quarters. Just carrying a tad too much weight today but still worthy of the RBCC

2nd: MACK. PY'S KEIRA TO MINITOPO, black, slightly longer cast & a bit rangier than 1 but a very nice bitch. Feminine with a lovely shiny coat, good head & eye, long neck, correct straight front, tends to flatten a bit on the move & not the strength behind of 1.

OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HENSHALL, Mrs Christine Gemolli Antique Tapestry JW fawn perfect size, pretty head & expression, neat little rose shaped ears, very feminine, perfect topline, correct bend of stifle, correct hare feet, a really lovely typical little bitch. Her movement let her down, if only her handler would stop jerking her up every few steps & let her move freely as she is not able to get into her stride & it completely throws her movement which becomes stilted. She is such quality, I’m sure her day will come.   

VB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HENSHALL. Ch Gemolli Joie De Vivre JW Sh.CM VW Fawn 12 yr old & another in sparkling condition & a credit to her owner. Dark expressive eyes, feminine head, good size, straight front, neat hare feet, correct topline, moved around the ring with more verve than some half her age, a real delight.
