Thank you to the society for the invite to judge this appointment, had a super day and big thanks to both the stewards. I’ve been really looking forward to doing this appointment and wasn’t disappointed. The depth of quality in wires was excellent, really spoilt for choice and splitting hairs between dogs in lots of classes, temperament and character of the wires is excellent, as were the owners accepting my decisions, all the dogs presented in clean hard first class condition.

Special Beginners Dog

1st Horne Salixian Moroccan Mint – 3 year old brindle dog, correct dentition, dark eye, masculine giving lovely expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, would prefer more upper arm, good coat and moved well.

Puppy Dog

1st Shaw Tendrow Will I Am – red dog, good forechest, correct dentition, masculine, dark eye, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed back, moved well from strong rear.

2nd Maes-Jones & Bates Derochaise Blue Danube – dark brindle boy, lovely expression, correct dentition, dark eye, ok shoulder, not as good in upper arm and not as well ribbed back as first place.

3rd Vine Cishelvine Quintillion

Junior Dog

1st Wills Kasalane Ostiriato Sea Over Cishelvine NAF – red, dark eye, correct dentition with masculine head, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder and return of upper arm, good coat, level topline, strong behind but not moved quick enough.

2nd Eldred Derdledash Naughty Neptune JW – black & tan brindle, correct dentition, good reach of neck into good shoulder, harsh coat, lovely tight feat, shorter in cast but not as strong behind as first.

3rd Westwood Yolo AV Larhjelm At Hopwood (Imp Nor)

Yearling Dog

1st Ord & Ainsley Cloudside Sebastian Of Marndee JW – dark shaded red, stallion male, correct dentition, lovely masculine head, well laid shoulder & return of upper arm, good keel, level topline, moved well once he settled, great to see character.

2nd Akehurst Boloria All Spice - not as masculine as 1st, good head, dark eye giving lovely expression, lighter brindle. Not as well ribbed back as no 1.

3rd Mountford Incordemeo Beetle About

Post Graduate Dog

1st Ord & Ainsley Cloudside Sebastian Of Marndee JW – winner of previous class.

2nd Salixian Russian Caravan – masculine head, correct dentition, lovely coat, harsh hair on tight feet, level topline, good shoulder, not as good upper arm as no 1, well ribbed back and lovely short loin.

3rd Pearce Incordemeo Jolly On Xmas Day

Limit Dog

1st Davies Atahira Ruffian – masculine dark brindle, dark eye giving lovely expression, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, good reach of neck, level top line, well ribbed back, moved well from strong rear.

2nd McCalmont Silvae Timekeeper – dark eye, correct dentition, masculine head, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, good reach of neck, well ribbed, moved well.

1st Carruthers Ch Aikton Alexander At Stangate – dark brindle, WOW, balanced and so effortless, dark eye with lovely expression, good lay of shoulder & return of upper arm, well ribbed back, level topline, moved out well from strong rear, a really lovely honest dog. CC & BOB. Very pleased to watch him win hound group 1.

2nd Phillips Ch Royal Pepper’s Vice Versa (Imp Fin) – Very close to 1st though not as masculine as 1, very little to separate them though, moved excellent again, a really strong open dog class. RCC

3rd McCalmont Ch Silvae Trader

1st Wheeler Boloria Diorella – brindle bitch, dark eye, correct mouth, good shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed back, moved ok, presented well.

Minor Puppy Bitch

1st Cox Hopewood Que Sera Sera – brindle, correct mouth, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder & upper arm, level topline, moved out well enjoying herself.

2nd Beagrie Ellesophia Light The Way To Feldhund -not much to separate these two but not as quite all together yet as 1st.

3rd Westwood Hopewood Shine On Me

Puppy Bitch

1st Phillips Tendrow Makes The Right Turn – dark brindle with dark eye giving a lovely expression, well laid shoulder and return of upper arm, good reach of neck, well ribbed back with short loin, level topline, standing on lovely feet, moved well from strong rear. BPIB & pleased to see her go on to win puppy group 2.

2nd Moore Derochaise Black Cherry Cloudside – b & t, Good keel, not much to separate these two again, correct dentition, good reach of neck into a good lay of shoulder & return of upper arm, well ribbed back, moved well from strong rear.

3rd Coverley Aventine Aunt Patience

Junior Bitch

1st Wills Kasalane Symphony – brindle, dark eye, feminine, level top line, good shoulder & upper arm, good coat, moves ok.

2nd Brierley Bonfire Heart At Tatze – lovely feminine girl again, good shoulder, would prefer more upper arm, dark eye, correct dentition, well presented and moved really well.

Yearling Bitch

1st Rowe Boloria Nice’N Spicy JW – dark eye, correct dentition, lovely feminine expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder & upper arm, well ribbed back, level top line, moved well from strong rear, best is yet to come once she’s fully mature.

2nd Brierley Bonfire Heart At Tatze – see 2nd previous class

Post Graduate Bitch

1st Waller Tendrow Laced With Succes – brindle bitch, smart, correct coat, ok head, dark eye, good keel, good shoulder & upper arm, level topline, ok behind.

2nd Phillips Tendrow Wired To Succeed – very similar to 1st, I know see why! Very similar comments and not much to separate them, prefer topline of 1st though.

3rd Gibson Allfreys Cordelia

1st Clayton-Smith Cairparavel Kiss From A Rose JW – dark brindle bitch, super coat, dark eye, good head proportions, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder & upper arm, level topline, lovely underline, moved well.

2nd Davies Atahira Dolciami – red, lovely head, good shoulder and upper arm, good topline, good keel, not as strong behind as 1st.

3rd Rowe Bolorias Miss Dior

Open Bitch

1st McCalmont Ch Silvae Fan Dancer – dark brindle bitch with a head to die for, feminine giving a lovely expression, correct bite, well laid shoulder & return of upper arm, level topline, well ribbed back, strong rear used to advantage.

2nd McCalmont Silvae Sky Dancer – not much to separate here between them in a strong open class, very very simailr to 1st though I prefer the stronger rear of 1st.

3rd Moore & Downes Ch Megline Bohemian Rhapsody
