Breed: Bracco Italiano

Puppy Dog (8,2)

1ST: TOWNS, Miss E Caio Di Cortelara (Imp) It: Excellent quality puppy of 9 months of age, completely balanced when viewed in profile. Head correct fitting the breed standard with lean cheeks and pronounced occiput. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Neck of moderate length seamlessly leading into very good forehand assembly. Brisket of sufficient depth and width and spring of rib in line with his age. Hindquarters well made with moderate turn of stifle. Moved very well in all profiles at an extended fast trot.

2ND: SLADDEN, Mr I Valcor The Confessor At Canemamans: At just 6 months of age, this young male presented an almost square profile and with good overall balance. Correct head of with clean cheeks. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Muscular neck. Deep brisket of good width. Very good forehand assembly. Well ribbed back. Moderately turned stifles when standing correctly. Excels in quality bone all through. Nails could have been shorter. Moved very well and soundly even though a little loose due to his tender age.

3RD: JACKSON, Mrs N Solwaypoint Portofino

Junior Dog (6, 2)

1ST: PILLINGER, Mrs G Withamfriary Scrabble Star: A dog of 17 months of age. Good overall balance when standing correctly – he is a big boy then now needs to mature to complete the picture. Excellent quality bone all through. Well shaped head with clean cheeks. Dentition correct clean and complete. Deep brisket. Could have more forehand angulation for me. Well ribbed back. Moderate turn of stifles. Nails definitely need to be shorter. Moved soundly.

2ND: RUSH, Ms S & DUGGAN, Mr K Kelevra Cioccolatino: I worried about this young male of 14 months of age – totally out of condition. I would be the first to say that I like dogs to be lean and fit but this young dog was lean in the extreme, perhaps due to recent illness???? Pleasing head, dentition correct, clean and complete, clean neck into well placed shoulder, good depth to brisket, which lacked width, moderate hindquarters, moved soundly & accurately – needs to have shorter nails.

3RD: NORTHEY, Mrs C Jakobstown One Fine Day

Post Graduate Dog (5)

1ST: RUSH, Ms S & DUGGAN, Mr K Kelevra Cioccolatino

2ND: BEECHAM, Miss D ALLEGRO NORD BOHEMIA SHERAM (IMP CZE): I so wanted to award this dog of 20 months of age the class as he is a very balanced outline and profile. Typical head with dentition correct, clean and complete, strong neck into well placed shoulder, deep brisket but a little too wide form me. Strong loin, moderate hindquarters, nails again too long. He did not move with any accuracy with his front assembly performing some very strange things when coming into me – he was sound.

3RD: LONGMAN, Miss E Braccorion Quick look Of Callaiscroft

Limit Dog (4,1)

1ST: HURST, Miss N & HURST, Mrs A Braccorions Quest For Glory: A male of just over 2 years of age who really impressed me on the day. Presented an almost square outline when viewed in profile. Head of good length with lean cheeks and pronounced occiput. Well chiselled beneath the eyes. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Strong neck of moderate length leading to good forehand assembly and chest of good width and depth. Well sprung ribs into strong short loin. Good bone all through. Muscular hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Feet spoiled by nails that were far too long. Moved extremely well in all planes and profiles. My pleasure to award him the Reserve Dog Challenge Certificate.

2ND: HARTLEY, Mrs N Jakobstown Wray of Joy: A male of 2½ years of age with a real presence when standing. Clean, balanced outline. His head is not as well defined in the critical areas for me. Dentition, correct, clean and complete. Strong neck into the very best of forehand assemblies. Brisket of good depth and width. Well ribbed back into muscular loin. Strong hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Good bone but nails need to be far shorter. Moved very well, sound in all profiles and planes.

3RD: BEECHAM, Miss D Grafskoe Gnezdo Arlo (Imp Rus)

Open Dog (9)

1ST: SLADDEN, MR I Ebano Dell 'Oltresavio At Canemamans (IMP ITA): A dog of just over 3 years of age. Extremely well balanced, excellent quality bone all through, almost square and well muscled. Correct head with foreface of good width and slight stop, lean cheeks and pronounced occiput. Correct, clean and complete dentition, well chiselled below eyes. Neck of moderate length, very good shoulder and corresponding return of upper arm, deep brisket of good width, moved very well in all planes and profiles.Nails could have been shorter. My absolute pleasure to award him the Dog Challenge Certificate.

2ND: BURNSIDE, Miss S & BURNSIDE, Mr M Ir Ch Owlspoint Makin Trouble: A powerful male of 3½ years of age who presented an excellent outline when viewed in profile. Skull and muzzle of correct proportions. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Lean cheeks and pronounced occiput. Muscular neck of moderate length very good forehand assembly and then into correct topline which was maintained at all times standing and moving. Well ribbed back into muscular loin. Strong hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle Excellent bone all through and one of very few exhibits that presented with nails of an acceptable length – thank you. Moved extremely well in all profiles.

3RD: TOWNS, Miss E Ooh La La Du Clos Petites Vignes

Veteran Dog (1)

1ST: COTTERELL, Mrs P & COTTERELL, Mr W Sh Ch Fancygun Luke Skywalker: A beautifully presented male of just over 7 years of age. Super clean outline when standing in profile. Head clean, narrow and correct with lean cheeks and pronounced occiput. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Short muscular neck leading into excellent shoulder placement and good length of upper arm. Brisket of good width and depth. Well sprung ribcage. Short loin. Excellent bone. Accurate and powerful on the move. Unfortunately, his nails left much to be desired.

Puppy Bitch (9, 2)

1ST: JACKSON, Mrs N Iolanda Di Cascina Croce at Solwaypoint (NAF): I really did like this young bitch of just 7 months of age. A really top quality puppy. She presented excellent overall overall balance when standing. Super head with lean cheeks and well pronounced occiput. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Moderately short neck leading seamlessly to an excellent forehand assembly. Deep in brisket with good width of chest. Very good hindquarters with good turn of stifle. Correct topline, bone and feet. The length of her nails must be addressed as with almost all other exhibits in this breed Judged today. Moved out well in all planes and profiles. Extremely well handled. I did look at her for the Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate, but her obvious immaturity held her back. My pleasure to award her Best Puppy In Breed.

2ND: TOWNS, Miss E Talyfan Biscotti: A quality bitch of 6 months of age. Presented a clean and balanced outline. Good head with good skull to muzzle proportions. Not as deep in brisket as my first placed exhibit. Good bone all through. Moderate hindquarters. Moved and shown well.
