Stylish tri of 11 months. Beautiful size and shape, compact body with level topline. Well off for bone and substance. Masculine head with soft expression. Moved very well in profile, just a touch wide in front. BPD

Different type to 1st, but a lot to like. Balanced head with well-set leathers. Nice length of neck into well-laid shoulder. Good depth of chest. Slightly longer in loin than 1. Good bend of stifle. Moved well, straight coming and going with nice length of stride.

Well-schooled t/w of 15 months. Presented a good outline. Heavy in head, but nicely proportioned. Kind eye giving soft expression. Good length of back and depth of chest with nice rear angulation. Straight forelegs with good bone. Moved freely, accurate coming and going. Would prefer a higher tail set.

 2nd: BINKS, Tannahill Vagabond

Quality young tri who just would not co-operate with his handler today. Lovely size and pleasing shape. Excellent reach of neck. Good depth of chest and nicely angulated rear. Correct length of leg. Movement was hard to assess as he was pulling off to one side. Well-balanced head with dark eye and good pigment giving soft expression.

Level topline and good bend of stifle. Moved straight front and rear, holding a level topline going around. Well-handled and presented.

Splitting hairs with this class. Blanket tri who could change places with 1 and similar remarks apply. Compact and sturdy with good head and eye. Well off for bone and substance, good reach of neck and level topline. Moved very well, close decision, but 1 just had more sparkle today.

There’s not much I can say about this dog that hasn’t been said before. The standard asks for “A sturdy, compactly built hound, conveying the impression of quality without coarseness "and for me, he fits that description perfectly. He has a quality head with soft dark eye giving a soft expression. Soundly built all through and moves effortlessly, with great front reach and drive from the rear. He’s in excellent condition, well-muscled and handled to perfection. A real showman! I had no hesitation in awarding him the DCC & BOB.

2nd: JONES, Ch Newlin Preston to Clairdale JW

A worthy Champion who was unlucky to meet 1 today. Open marked tri who I've awarded Best Dog to in the past. My opinion of him hasn’t changed. Another sturdy hound full of breed type. Head of good proportions, kind, dark eye & well-set leathers combine to give the softest of expressions. Excellent length of neck, level top-line and perfect tail-set. Good depth of chest, Correct angles front and rear. Presented in good, hard condition & showed his socks off. Moves very well from all angles. RCC.

Pretty baby of 11 months. Balanced head with kind expression. Excellent reach of neck, well laid shoulders, firm topline & correct tailset. Nice size and body shape with good length of leg. Ample substance. Happy on the move holding a nice outline, although she seemed to paddle a little in front on first look, she settled after being on the table and moved soundly in all directions. BP

 2nd BINKS, Tannahill Yasmine

Very appealing baby of 8 months. Slightly larger than 1, but all in proportion. Compact body with firm topline. Great length of neck and nice angles front and rear. Nicely balanced head with kind expression. Moved well, again holding a nice outline. Sound coming and going.

3rd: BEARD, KELLITCREED COTTON CANDY

Class 366 JB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: HAVARD, Ch Annavah Princess Tiana

Pretty little tri with the most beautiful head and expression. I wasn’t surprised, upon looking at my results, to find that she already has her title. She’s compact with the right amount of bone and substance. Nice length of body with level topline and good tailset. Powerful rear quarters which enabled her to move effortlessly with lovely action. Pushed her kennel mate hard for the Rcc today.

2nd: GOLDBERG, Molesend Dormouse

I’ve written in my notes that both 1st and 2nd in this class were very nice examples of the breed, being similar in body shape and size and both moved well. This girl has a lovely balanced head with kind eye. I just preferred the width of muzzle on first.

3rd: STUART, Kellitcreed Frozen Assets

Class 367 PGB (8 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: BEARD, KELLITCREED'S BACK CHAT

Another quality beagle from this kennel. All shown today had excellent outlines and were handled to perfection. I felt this tri had a slightly more refined head than her kennelmates, which I prefer. Balanced with moderate skull and muzzle. Dark eye giving a sweet expression. Excellent reach of neck, well-laid shoulders and depth of chest. She’s compact with a level topline and good tailset. Excellent bone and substance, neat hocks and moved with purpose. Straight coming and going. Close up to my main winners today. I’ll watch her progress with interest.

2nd: COATES, GLADSTYLE TOO CLOSE TO CALL

Feminine t/w with nice eye, head and expression. Good reach of neck, level topline and good tailset. Compact body, good bend of stifle and firm, parallel hocks. Moved true coming and going whilst holding a level topline. Well presented.

3rd: FITZPATRICK, BLUNDERHALL BLOW A FUSE

Class 368 LB (9 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: GOLDBERG, Molesend Crumble (ai)

Beautiful t/w, not quite 2 years old. Initially didn’t jump out at me, but upon going over her I was impressed by her excellent construction. Well balanced head of nice width, dark, well-placed eyes and well-set leathers give her the softest of expressions. Lovely reach of neck and depth of chest. Straight forelegs & tight feet. Good shoulder placement and upper arm of correct length. Good rib and loin. Well-muscled rear quarters. Level topline and good tailset. Legs correct length giving her a very balanced outline. I couldn’t fault her on the move, powerful action with lovey front reach and drive from the rear. Bitch CC.

Thought this would be my winner on first look. Appealed for her lovely size and shape. Pretty tri with balanced head & soft expression. Long neck into well-laid shoulders, excellent depth of chest and spring of ribs. Level topline, good bend of stifle and great tailset. Just a touch longer in loin than 1st. Moved very well.

Compact body with nice height to length ratio. lovely bend of stifle and neat hocks. Moved very well with purpose, holding a level topline. Shown in excellent condition. RCC

2nd: DEANS, Gempeni Cornflower

Tri with the softest expression. I was splitting hairs in this quality class, of which any of the first 4 could have won. Excellent outline, fantastic bone and substance and moved with drive. Nothing to choose between the 2, other than the 1st caught my eye for animation on the stack and on the move.
