Had a super day among friends and some lovely dogs to go over. Thank you all for bringing me your dogs and I hope you all enjoyed your day too. Not as many short in upper arm as the last time I judged although there were a few soft toplines and some lacking forchest, and once again one or two handlers who need to do a straight line to help judges assess the movement of their dogs, some good coats with not a lot of overgrooming present. On the whole a nice entry with only 2 missing. A shame there was no Puppy Groups but was pleased to be able to award my BOB the Best Veteran in breed as well as this show does not insist that the Best Veteran come from the Veteran class.

Open Dog (3,0)

1st  Reid, Mr P & Mrs D – Ch Vilauddens Magnificent Mile (Imp NLD) – 7yo lad belying his age. This is a proper petit, he screams breed type and shows himself so well. Nothing overdone or too big and he out moved the rest of the entry with ease. Good head with lovely ear and eye set, good underjaw and perfect scissor bite. Neck not too short or long. Correct length to height, super feet with strait front legs, hocks well let down and good rear angulation which showed when he moved up the ring with great reach and drive, holding a level topline at all times. Best Dog, Best Veteran & BOB.

2nd Bartley, Mr T & Mrs D – Erylan Loki Maitre Du Mal -  5yo boy who showed his socks off today. Moved well up the ring and held his topline on the move. Nice dark oval eye, good ear set, and clean neck into well laid shoulder. Good feet. Res Best Dog

3rd Bartley, Mr T & Mrs D – Erylan Zeus Roi Des Dieux – 4 year old boy who I gave BOB to the last time I judged and was a little disappointed he did not show himself today, I think he much prefers to be outside on the grass.

Special Beginners Dog (1,0)

1st  Moore Mr & Mrs R – Afterglow Dough Ble Impact – 6yo boy. Solid lad with good dark eye and good ear set, good forchest and depth of chest. Elbows tight, hocks well let down, would like a better topline on him and a shorter tail. Best Special Beginner in Breed.

Puppy Bitch (2,0)

1st Moulding Miss K – Nykarth Touch of Class – 9 month old super little girl, was pleased to see her keep all 4 feet on the floor today as have seen her bouncing more than showing herself off at times. Good oval dark eye and correct ear set and length, well angulated with good return of upper arm and well let down hocks, moved really well up the ring holding a level topline and sabre like tail on the move. Coat not her fortune at the moment but there is more to come of this little one. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd  Bishop Mrs J – Jamar Miss Skylar – another 9 month old girl with a super coat and more mature for her age than first. Good deep chest, nice eye and ear. Good muzzle with good underjaw. I think she is going through a bit of growth spurt as seemed a little bum high, not really holding her top line on the move or stack. Good tight feet. I would like a little more rear angulation on her. But she moved OK.

Junior Bitch (1,0)

1st Allenby Mr R & Mrs H – Ch Soletrader fun times for Rangali JW – 14 month old girl who has a lovely head, good eye and ear set. Very feminine bitch who has a little more filling out to do and needs to body up now. Good forchest and she is well angulated both fore and aft. Moved well around the ring and showed herself off. Not yet mature enough to challenge the older girls there today.

Post Graduate Bitch (3,0)

1st  Bishop Mrs J – Jaymar Ina the Countessa – 3 year old bitch with lovely head, eye and ear. Good reach of neck into good shoulders, good depth of chest. Moved OK.

2nd Moulding Miss K – Nykarth Quite the Surprise – another 3 year old girl, with good head lovely eye and ear, good underjaw. Good forchest, well angulated fore and aft. Lacking undercoat. Would like a firmer topline on her.

3rd Whiting Miss SE – Tangear Enigma at Glanbeuno.

Open Bitch (4,2)

1st Reid Mr P & Mrs D – Fox's Nightmare Lara Fabien at Maudaxi (Imp Rus) – 2 year old bitch, feminine but not lacking bone, good eye and ear set, good underjaw clean neck, and while she needs to mature a little more, she has a good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good size nothing too corse and moved really well. Best Bitch

2nd Foote & McAulay, Mr R, Mrs G & Miss E – Erylan Deesse Des Fleurs – 3 year old solid girl who carries herself well. Good muzzle, nice eye and ear. Good angulation fore and aft and lovely feet. Good depth of chest and tight elbows. Move out well around the ring. Res Best Bitch

Veteran Bitch (1,0)

1st Foote & McAulay, Mr R, Mrs G & Miss E – Ir CH Clonallan Just Beginning Avec Erylan ShCM – 9 year old bitch of heavier type who really does not show her age. Good dark eye and ear set. Nice coat, carries herself well and holds her topline. Well angulated. Moves OK.

Special Beginners Bitch (1.0)

1st Whiting Miss SE – Erylan Bohemian Rhapsody at Glanbeuno – 12 month old girl just out of puppy, very immature, Very Pretty girl with good dark eye and correct ear set, Harsh Coat. Good return of upper arm and well angulated rear. Some forchest, quite fine all over at the moment. Moved OK keeping a level topline, but was giving her handler a hard time on the stack.
