Richmond Dog Show Society

Breed: Australian Shepherd

Richmond. Australian Shepherd

This breed must rank as one of the most eye catching of show dogs. All here were very well presented and in excellent muscular condition. Generally I thought hind quarters were good, just a few slightly over angulated. Fronts, however need some work. Many failed in upper arm and as a result could have been better moving towards.

Puppy D (2)

1st: 2364 WALSH, Mr Jake Birkcross You Blu Me Away

V good proportions, beautifully presented with correct coat texture. Masc head, correct width of skull. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Could have a little more angle to upper arm. Well ribbed. Firm topline. V good rear which he uses so well on the move. V good profile action. Just needs to firm in front and a little more finish to body and coat and should start collecting the big green ones. RCC & BP

2nd: 2347 FITCHES, Mrs Allison Durena Black Baccara

Not helping his handler on the move. This is a well put together d who is accurate out and back, just needs to be more collected in profile. Well proportioned head. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Level topline rear matches his front.
