Judge – Mrs Jane Eyeington

I would like to thank the committee of ‘The English Ibizan Hound Club’ for their invitation to judge as a replacement judge, speedy recovery to the original judge, and to the exhibitors for the pleasure of your lovely dogs, it was a true honour

Special Junior Dog or Bitch (1,0)

1. Mrs Hamilton - Gala

Exuberant and full of beans 14 month old rough coated bitch. Balanced in her overall outline when stood. Her head shows good proportions, long and lean. Clear mischievous almond shaped amber eyes. Not using her ears to full advantage today. Good length of neck, flat ribcage and of the correct depth. Moderate in her hindquarters. Lovely to see her enjoying herself on the move, but unfortunately, she was roaching her topline and unsettled in her front action

Special Post Gradulate Dog or Bitch (1,1)

Special Open Dog or Bitch (10,2) a really lovely class, thank you to all the exhibitors

1. Miss Taylor - Ch Abbotsoak Carousel JW

Most elegant and noble 4 year old bitch, who has a real air of dignity about her. When stood she presents a shapely silhouette. Feminine head, lean and long with a good length to the foreface, a gentle rise with slight chiselling. Most alert to all going on around her, using her large mobile ears. Lovely long neck showing a slight crest. Rather steep forequarters, with strong pasterns. Holding a super firm level topline both stood and on the move and falling away slightly at the croup. Correct amount of depth to her ribcage, flat and carried well back. Muscular hindquarters with a nice amount of width and moderate in angulation. Holding her outline on the move, at times had a little more lift in front, but shows a lovely stride.

2. Miss Sayles - Ch Abbotsoak Music Of The Nite

So much to appreciate on this dog, and I see that he is litter brother to winner, and very much peas in a pod. Long masculine head, Flat skull, proportionate length of foreface, nice clean thin lips. Well placed and used large ears flowing to a long elegant neck with a slight arch. Ribcage flat and well above the elbow. Straight forelegs onto well knuckled feet. Holds a firm level topline, and tucked up underline. Moderate hindquarters not quite the width of thigh of his sister. Showing in hard condition. Moving out with slight hover in his steps

3. Ms Hall - Afilador Wheal Grace CW22
