I’d like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge and was so glad to see the show return after such a rough road for everyone.

Junior Bitch (1,0) –

1: Hardy’s, HONEY CRISP

Her & owners first time exhibiting, and both acquitted themselves well. Eight month old bitch. Still quite a raw baby. Currently coat is on the change as she is getting older. Nice head, square muzzle with correct stop. Lovely Almond shaped eye, unfortunately is of quite a light colouring, but this can get darker with age. Rear pasterns has correct coat patterning which is a rare sight in the breed these days. She also had a lack of coat on the back of her thighs, which I think has probably come with age as her hormones kick in for the first time. Currently there is a star on the chest which again normally goes with maturity. On the move was crabbing at points but moved well with drive once settled. Best Puppy in Breed.

Post Graduate Bitch (2,2) –

Open Bitch (3,0) –

1: Ford’s, CUBOGLACH REED TUSSOCK

Five-year-old bitch of very good quality. Nice feminine head with a good length of muzzle, long ear leathers, correct scissor bite. Coat of good crisp texture, well sprung rib cage and level topline. Moved well with lovely reach and drive. Very well presented. Best Bitch, Best of Breed.

2: Smith’s, SH CH, IR SH CH FOULBY NIAMH AT LEONARDSTON (AI)

Another quality bitch. Five years old, correct scissor bite, nice head again with correct eye shape and colour. A deep chest, well-groomed but coat not of the same quality on the day as 1. Freely moves round the ring with very good reach coupled with drive. Reserve Best Bitch.

3: Walker’s & Robert’s, GLOI DONN CRAZY LITTLE THING
