1st: 1271 Buchanan & Maclaren’s TARMACHAN TIPSY LAIRD a very impressive youngster who has everything going for him. He presents an eye-catching picture of a well-balanced hound who is of pleasing size and proportions. Handsome and breed typical in head and expression, he has ideal bone and body and is soundly constructed in front, body and hindquarters. Moved with true extension in front and parallel drive behind. One who has a bright future in the show ring. My Reserve CC winner in good company.

1st: 1280 McGregor’s CLAELA INFINITY AND BEYOND BRAILLEMENT a well grown tri youngster who is breed typical in appearance; he is well boned and bodied with good spring of rib and level top line. Pleasing head shape, would prefer more oval shaped eyes. Pleasing forequarters, head set on strong neck of decent length. Needs to develop and mature in body and tighten in forelegs and strengthen in hindquarters to be at his best. Would prefer him to have more extension in front movement.

1st: 1282 Smith & Cooper’s JAYANEL AMBIORIX a striking male of impressive appearance, correct coat and admirable conformation. He is well constructed all through with pleasing proportions of body height to length and being balanced in angulations front and rear. Impressed both when standing and moving. Moved with true extension in front and free, driving action behind. Eye-catching, noble head carriage both standing and when moving confidently around the ring. One who looks to be in his prime. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner.

2nd: 1269 Buchanan & Maclaren’s TARMACHAN MR MYOSOTIS a mature Tri male who has a pleasing profile which is well enough balanced. Pleasing head in shape and length and in proportion to the rest of him. OK front and forequarters when standing, front could be tighter, good length body which has scope to fill-out and mature; level top line leading to nicely moderately angled hindquarters. Free moving in side gait but tended to be close both in front and rear action.

1st: 1276 Makey’s CH INT CH BEL GAIRSIDE GOOD LORD JW CM a mature looking, breed typical male who is sturdy in body and has a pleasing balanced overall profile. Satisfying in make and shape with notable height to length proportions. True, well boned front, which I preferred to 2nd and having obvious fore chest. Handsome, breed typical head which he carries confidently both standing and on the move. Desirable coat and coat texture. He has good spring and depth, and is ribbed well back; strong, angled hindquarters with pleasing width and parallel hocks. Moved the better of this class but not as smooth as others in the challenge.

2nd: 1279 McGregor’s CH CLAELA YOU AND I ARE A TEAM an upstanding sizable male who cannot be missed. He is typical in appearance and very much a “Grand” in size. Pleasing qualities in head which is set onto a firm neck of good length flowing through to a sturdy body of pleasing shape and length to height. Well made in front which I preferred to 3rd and nicely let down hindquarters of comparative width. Free purposeful movement in front and parallel rear movement.

3rd: 1268 Buchanan & Maclaren’s CH MACARONI V TUM-TUMS VRIENDIES OF TARMACHAN (IMP)

1st: 1272 Buchanan & Maclaren’s TARMACHAN CLOOTIE DUMPLING well grown 7 month old young bitch who possesses all the basics of conformation and breed type desired in a puppy. She has good bone growth and ideal body substance. Attractive head and happy expression. Pleasing coat and coat texture; she has balance, sound conformation and quality combined with all the promise of a quality youngster. Moved with typical gait and confidence when settled.

1st: 1274 Cooper’s JAYANEL PEPPERMINT PATTY well grown very breed typical 13 month old who has a clean cut appearance and a balanced, well-proportioned side profile. True and parallel in front with tight in elbows. Feminine head and expression and good overall length of body with ideal width all through; nicely ribbed back. Plenty of scope for future development. Moved freely with active side gait.

1st: 1281 Milton’s WILMIT JUGEOTE super quality Tri bitch who has smart, well balanced appearance. She has sound conformation complimented with desirable breed characteristics. Well made in front and forequarters which I preferred to others in this class. Striking, correctly shaped head set on a strong, good length neck leading to a balanced, well-proportioned body and having a correct textured rough coat. Houndy and workmanlike in appearance both standing and on the move. True active gait with extension in front and drive behind. My bitch CC winner and Best Opposite Sex.                                                                                                                                        2nd: 1277 Makey’s GAIRSIDE SPECIAL INTEREST an attractive typy well-made bitch who has a head, expression and side outline I liked. Head well set on a reachy neck, firm body which is of good length with spring of rib, depth and balance in angulations front/rear. She has pleasing overall proportions . Well constructed front and fore chest, which I preferred to 3rd , and sound tight elbows. She had free purposeful movement which was more settled than 3rd.

1st: 1270 Buchanan & Maclaren’s TARMACHAN MISS IMPATIENS one that certainly conforms to the general appearance of this breed. She portrays a satisfying picture being well balanced and in proportion length to height. Attractive head and expression, strong good length neck, soundly made in front with desirable forechest. Preferred her front and feet to that of 2nd. Firm in body and topline with stable moderately angled hindquarters

2nd: 1278 McGregor’s CLAELA NO LOOKING BACK a typy, rough coated shapely bitch who has a very pleasing head, set on a good length neck. Tended to look slightly up on her legs and wide in front. She is well boned and well enough bodied with ok spring and length of ribbing and a decent top line. Moderate angulations front and rear. Tended to crab slightly on the move.

Moved OK in front but close hocked in rear action.
