WHIPPET Males


I do love judging this breed and trying to find a consistent look/type that fills my eye. Males are mixed with many loosing the elegance and curvy outline. That said i thought there was some nice youngsters which must be a positive.

just 6mths but already has a lovely curvy outline to him, flat skull, oval dark eye, ears could be smaller but well set,neck of good length, bladed bone with exc feet. Well angled rear, very nice in profile on the move with good proportions, lots to like.

Slightly taller stationed dog, masculine head of good length, prefer smaller ears, lean neck, deep chest, stands over good ground, a little flat in back on the move, strong rear with low set hocks, steady mover

masculine upstanding youngster, lean skull of good length, well placed ears, mature puppy, has nice fill in front with good feet. Holds his topline, strong loin, ok rear, lovely coat and skin.positive mover

very nicely balanced dog with good proportions, correct size, head of good length, flat skull, ears could be smaller, lean long neck with front nicely under body. Ribs extend well back, good, stronger rear, positive mover in profile, a little flat , nice type, still more to do in body but i liked his type and happy to give him BPD.

nice size and balance to this young dog, little more raw than 1, pleasing head and eye, ok ears, moderate neck with nice forechest, deep chest, defined underline. Steady mover, also would like him to have a little more curvy back on the move,

very honest dog with no exaggeration to him at all. Moderate and balanced, correct size with lovely proportions, good head and exp, neat rose like ears, lean elegant neck, shapely, lovely foot placement on the move, muscled rear in super condition, nice type. In the challenge I felt he was the best male on the day and filled my eye the most for his type, balance and moderate curvy outline, CC and im sure 2 more will happen in the future.

masculine dog, liked his head and skull, neat ears, super feet, bladed bone, deep chest, stands over good ground, strong rear, lots to like on him, steady mover, just preferred topline on the move on winner, 2 nice dogs

upstanding male with good leg length, detailed head with a nice exp, ears could be smaller, long neck with nice lay of shoulder. Tight arched feet, deep chest, ribs well extended, a little too much rear for ideal. Positive mover who holds his shape well on the move.

flat skull, neat ears, oval shaped eye well set, good for size, bladed bone. Curvy outline, a little steep in croup.low set hocks, like 1 he holds his shape on the move, not quite the front extension as 1, in hard condition all through.

very well balanced masculine dog, good leg length. Flat skull of good length, well made front with legs nicely under body, deep chest, good ribs loin and underline. Strong rear, postive mover, ideally like curvier topline on the move, great condition, he is a different type to my CC winner and can fully appreciate his qualities so happy to give him the RCC today.
