Whippets

I would like to thank the officers and committee for this appointment, I had looked forward to it for quite some time. I was delighted for the Association when I received my entry – 151 dogs making 171 entries - superb especially with all the travel necessary for exhibitors. In addition I had only 16 absentees. This was very much appreciated so thank you all.

I found that it was not just quantity but quality that awaited me with many classes closely contended. It was a real pleasure to find that I gave both dog and bitch their titles on the day and when they stood together in the challenge they were like two peas in a pod for type. I was delighted to see the bitch rewarded with Group 4 - very well done in a strong group. The puppy was shortlisted in the group and the special beginner being placed SB Group 2 - again well done.

I must also thank my stewards Jan and Jemine for their help on the day which was needed to get through this wonderful entry.
