Quality class with many exhibits put down in the best of order. In many gundog exhibits maturity and longevity is easily maintained with good management and these good skills were definitely on show for me today making for challenging decisions in this strong class. There were many that I liked immensely.


Class AVG VD/B (23 Entries) Abs: 10


1st: EWART, Mrs J H. BEAUPIPPIN DUSKY LILAC. Golden Retriever. Cracking topline and tail set. Excels in front assembly with correct length to height proportions and super width over the quarters. This really smart girl was put down in fine order. She has a gorgeous head piece and is devoid of any exaggeration. She is long in rib with short strong loin and has plenty depth without excess. She stands on good bone and feet and uses herself so well on the move with correct tail action and carriage. Extremely typey and abundant in quality. 


2nd: GRAHAM, Mrs A J. SH CH TAIMERE'S TWISTER ROUND NYLIRAM JW Sh.CM. (WSS). My notes say “Typey as hell!” Most gorgeous head and expression. Super forehand and excellent in ribbing. Good in quarters and excellent bone and feet. Well-presented and with good muscling and moved out well on the out, back and around with correct head carriage and tail action. He has a great wee body and was so pleasing under the hand. Put down in super order. 


3rd: WRIGHT, Miss R A. ERIKACHEN DAITHI OF WRIGHTPAW (NSDTR)
