1st: Graham, Mrs A J. WINTERWELL TUBBY TOMPKIN FROM NYLIRAM. What a super puppy – just loved him. Presented here in great order with so much type and in good bone, standing over enough ground. Shows great promise for the future, he is right up my street for make and shape and overall type. He has a good top-line and excellent tail-set. Well developed rear, with super width to first and second thigh and enough bend of stifle. He is good in upper arm and has enough reach on the around. I liked his neck into shoulder and his carriage as he performed. Very pleasing headpiece with good expression. Best Puppy In Breed.

1st: Dymond, Mr B. QUINTANA DIAMOND DUST AT FRIARSBELLE JW. What a cracking young man! He is already mature for his age and is presented in the epitome of condition. He is rock solid and has a good coat texture. He is balanced and of a good size. He commands attention through his overall shape, total presence and sheer quality – he is certainly one that cannot be ignored. I was totally thrilled to hear at the end of my judging this award gave him his title. He has the best of top lines and tail-set, great depth without excess, balanced front and rear and of great proportions in body depth to leg length as well as overall length to height ratios. He stands on excellent bone and really tidy feet with arched tones, close fitting. He has the very best of shoulder placement with corresponding length and angulated upper arm to allow for that easiest of reach as he moves around. Great spring of rib and well developed rear assembly which is moderate and powerful. I’d like him a little closer in front but hey that’s only one thing and today he impressed me so much in his other departments I was happy to forgive this. He is a great mover on the around, maintaining his structure and balance as he goes – and all with the minimum of effort to get from point a to point b. So much to commend and with little failings, he is an exquisite package. I was delighted to award him the CC.

Class 55 ND (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Fry, Mr & Mrs L & C. WALDBURG INDUS. Black dog. Presented here today in the shiniest coat. A shade softer than I prefer. He is also good in muscle. He could do with more angulation in front and a bit more development in hindquarters. He is good in upper arm length and prosternum. He has good width over the first thigh area. Not exactly my taste in head, as I find him rather fine. Certainly enjoyed his day performing.

Class 56 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Mewse, Mr C & Mewse, Mrs S. ALLEZWECK TOCCOA AT KRIMSHAR. Bright dog, with good front assembly and excellent bone and feet. A shade upright in front pastern. He has really good length to his rib cage and is short in loin. He needs a bit more development over the second thigh area. Not so solid in top-line as is called for. Moved well on the out and back.

2nd: Fry, Mr & Mrs L & C. WALDBURG INDUS. See Novice report

Class 57 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Brown & Burns, Mr & Miss R & A. MAGREGOR POP THE DOM OVER POTHOUSE. Lovely head and overall type on this 2 year old boy. He is clean and with a definite stamp on him, which had good appeal. He has a good head and eye and correctly placed ears. Muscular neck leading into well angulated front assembly. He stands on good bone and feet. He is good in proportions. He is well ribbed up with depth, spring and length leading to his muscular loin. He is strong and wide over the hindquarters and is short from hock to heel which I liked. He is a shade more developed in angulation in rear than I normally go for, however he is a quality boy and excels in so many other areas this did not detract from the final decision making process. He moved well on the out and back and had plenty reach and drive on display on the around. Presented in good order and handled well to get the very best from him. Pleased to award him the RCC.

2nd: Collins, Mrs L & Collins, Mr P. BARLEYARCH HOOPLA AT FORESTPOINT. This boy was presented in the peak of fitness and in really fine order which is a credit to his owner. He is quite compact and has such a beautiful head. It is well proportioned, with dryness and enough work and with the best of eye shape and colouring. He has sufficient stop and is clean in lip and finish to muzzle. Well-muscled neck leading into a very good lay of shoulder. Would prefer more fill in front and a greater length to upper arm. He has enough spring of rib and length to it. He could do with a shade more in hindquarters. He is of a very good type. Moved quite well.

Class 58 OD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Coe, Mrs N. GOOSEPOINT WADDINGTON AT ABBANASH (A.I) JW. This boy has a really good front assembly in all areas; excellent lay of shoulder, good in upper arm, straight when viewed from the front, slightest slope to front patterns and standing on good bone and arched toes that were close fitting. He has very good hindquarters although a shade long in rear pastern for my ideal. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Good muscle. He is a shade short in foreface with a bit too much in stop for my preference, but he has good planes to his head and well placed ears. Had good reach and driver on the around.

Class 59 VB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Fry, Mr & Mrs L & C. WALDBURG SOLAR ECLIPSE. This girl excelled in width of quarter, she is well-developed here with good first and second thigh and good bend of stifle. She has good proportions, body depth to leg length. She is a shade light in bone. She has a pleasing expression with good ear set, however, I would just prefer more width throughout. She has a level top-line and was a shade steep in croup. Carrying too much weight today but she was presented in good muscle. BVIB

Class 60 MPB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Staley, Ms C. JOMEEL OLIVIA'S CHOICE. This new prospect really comes together on the move. She is excellent coming towards and very tidy on the around, maintaining her level top-line as she goes and with a really nice attitude. She has a very pleasing head for shape and balance but is a shade light in eye for my ultimate preference. Pleasant front and already well developed in the quarters. Good body properties just needs to strengthen in rear. Substantial, yet elegant and compact.

Class 61 PB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

Two lovely girls in this puppy class, one being a bit more mature than her rival.

1st: Merritt, Miss L. SPERANT CHOCOLATE COSMOS. Excellent shape, type and substance. She stands on good bone and has plenty depth. Her length to height proportions are good. She is excellent in shoulder line although I would like a shade more fill in front. Her ribs are well sprung already and of good length and she is nice in hindquarters. Her head is developing and at this point she is slightly short in foreface for my ideal but she is young and there is time for more development here. How nice to hear from her handler that this win gave her Junior Warrant on the day.

2nd: Staley, Ms C. JOMEEL OLIVIA'S CHOICE. See Minor Puppy report

3rd: Fry, Mr & Mrs L & C WALDBURG SEREN

Class 63 NB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Fry, Mr & Mrs L & C. WALDBURG SEREN. Black and white bitch who excels in shoulder line. Slightly short in upper arm. She does have some fill in front and has good depth and length of rib. She is short in loin and needs to develop a shade further in rear. A bit upright in front pastern. She has a dark expressive eye, some work in head but is rather long in muzzle. She has good finish to her foreface and decent width over the back skull. This well-muscled girl moved very well on the around.

Class 64 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Merritt, Miss L. SPERANT PAMPLEMOUSSE. Pleasant head. Compact, good bone and feet. She has a strong top-line and tail set, has good width over first thigh although just a bit over developed in angulation for sheer balance. She has decent shoulder angulation and good fill in front, although a tad wide through her front. Moved quite well today.

2nd: 103 JAMES, Mr D.KEIGAME NELL GWYN AT CWNGIEDD. Compact and with a decent shape in outline. Rather light in bone. Moderately angulated and a shade wide in front. Good depth and spring of rib, would like a little more angulation behind. Balanced head with good eye shape but would prefer a shade darker.

Class 65 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Waddell, Miss R A. MAGREGOR GLITTER MUFF. This girl is really from the top drawer. She presents the most lovely shape on the stack. She is typey, compact and has excellent proportions. Her top line is absolutely rock solid and she stands on quality bone and excellent feet. Her head is most appealing, carrying all the essentials with correct eye colour and shape, some stop, clean in lip and good proportions all through. She has a most appealing expression. She has a very good front assembly, excelling in upper arm, length and set and is good in rib, for length, spring and depth. Well-muscled loin and has excellent hindquarters. She is well developed in first and second thigh and with enough bend of stifle. She is so balanced and devoid of excess. I particularly liked her movement, she is good out and back and really comes into her own on the around. She has reach and drive in abundance, all so effortless. I particularly liked her substance but she still remained elegant and as she went around, I could really imagine her quartering on a moor. Delighted to award her the CC & BOB. I have never judged any dogs from this exhibitor before so this was a real joy for me to assess such a quality exhibit. In the challenge for BOB she really went up another gear and although I had fallen for the young male earlier, this girls sheer arrogance in performance could not be denied. She is quite a delight! Loved her.

2nd: Harris, Mrs S. BARLEYARCH PAKORA. Quality bitch of great type. Compact and shapely and undoubtedly with the most correct coat of the day. She is well put together in all departments. Stands on good bone and feet. Really good in rib length and with good spring. She is good in proportion, body depth to leg length and really strong in top-line with correct tail set. Pleasant head, although a shade round in eye, thus losing out on expression. Ample hindquarters, well-muscled and with plenty width throughout, enough bend of stifle. A tidy mover but just couldn’t match the winner on the around. She has many lovely breed attributes. Pleased to award her RCC today.

3rd: Staley, Ms C. JOMEEL NOW I'M HERE.

Class 66 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Staley, Ms C. JOMEEL NAUGHTYLICIOUS. Although standing alone today in this class, this girl pushed the limit girls hard. She has so much to commend. I loved her moderation all through. She is well put together, excels in the rear and has great depth. She is a shade steep in shoulder but has a good length of upper arm. She is well conditioned and put down in the finest order. She has a level top line, good tail. A very honest bitch who was a definite contender for the top honours today.
