Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)

I was looking for the same attributes in each exhibit so critique will be repetitive. I found quite a few with an equal length of muzzle to skull. I was looking for a workmanlike Pemboke with substance & ample bone.

Minor Puppy Dog – 1

1st – Kentwone Come Fly with Me - 8 month old male. He has a flat skull, tapering muzzle just a little long. Ears a touch large, balanced length of neck & level backline held on the move.

Junior Dog – 1

1st - Born to Be Your Stars Align at Twinan (Imp Hun) taf – 14 month male with correct head proportions. Well boned, balanced length of neck, good angles front & rear & level backline held in profile. Sound from all angles with nothing over or under done – Res CC

Yearling Dog – 3, 2 abs

1st - Woodhenge Star Commander – 16 month male who caught my eye as he entered the ring. Masculine, but not coarse, he is of attractive colouring with good head proportions, balanced length of neck leading to good angles front & rear. Having balance all through he was well boned with a level backline held in profile & sound coming & going - CC

Graduate Dog – 1

1st - Saniaquinto A Kind of Magic – 19 month male having good bone & substance. Flat skull, just a touch longer in muzzle. Just a touch loose in elbow but having a level backline from all angles.

Limit Dog – 6

I liked all of the first three in this class – all being well boned & having good breed type.

1st – Crescenthill-Brynlea Moon Glow (Imp USA) – 4 year old male with correct head & body proportions. Balanced length of neck sweeping into good angles both front & rear. Close fitting elbows & sound from all angles.

2nd – Corland Nighthawk – Another with good head & body proportions. Good angles front & rear. Sound with a level backline from all angles.

3rd – Cottivy Cappuccino -

4th – Elessar Royal Salute -

5th – Saniaquinto High Society -

Open Dog – 4, 2 abs

1st – Stadwen Lancelot – 5 year old male with a flat skull & medium sized ears, just a touch longer in muzzle. Good angles front & rear with a level backline held on the move.

2nd – Ch Redfordhill Magic Moments to Salvenik JW (Imp Dk) – 5 year old male, flat skull, fraction larger ears & just a touch longer in muzzle. Level backline held from all angles.

Veteran – 7, 3 abs

All exhibits were in excellent condition & a credit to their owners.

1st – Ch Stadwen Florence – 9.5 year old feminine female – such a happy little soul. Good head & body proportions, balanced lenth of neck with good angles front & rear. Enough bone & substance, level backline held from all angles.

2nd – Brisam Mokka at Cottivy – 9.5 year old female. Pretty feminine head good length of neck, level backline held from all angles.

3rd - Ermyn Time to Dream for Solaw -

4th - Ermyn Moonlight Flyer at Saniaquinto -

Good Citizens Dog Scheme – 3, 1 abs

1st – Ermyn Time to Dream for Solaw – 9 year old male with good bone & substance. Good head proportions, level backline held on the move

2nd - Brownieglen’s Ghillie Dhu - 18 month feminine female. Balanced outline with good angles & level backline held from all angles.

Special Beginners Bitch – 1

1st – Daleabbey's Apple Pie at Brownieglen – 3 year old female, feminine but without weakness. Enough bone & substance, flat skull, balanced length of neck, level backline held from all angles.

Minor Puppy Bitch – 4, 2 abs

Although both the same age, both were in different stages of their development.

1st – Mattake Freyja of Aesir – 7 month female with good bone & substance. Correct head proportions, balanced length of neck with good angles front & rear. Level backline held from all angles & sound.

2nd – Brynmay Star Explosion – 7 month feminine female who comes in a neat package. Pretty head, just a little deep in stop. Ample bone & substance with good body shape. Level backline held in profile & she was sound.

Puppy Bitch – 3, 1 abs

1st – Twinan Hand in The Cookie Jar – 10 month female with a balanced feminine head & body shape. She holds her backline both in stance & on the move. She has exceptional front reach & strong rear thrust allowing her to cover lots of ground with no effort - BPIB & Puppy Group 2

2nd – Brynmay Star Explosion - Repeat

Junior Bitch – 3, 1 abs

1st – Stadwen Grace Darling – 14 month female with a feminine head, balanced length of neck into a level backline. Moderate front & good rear angles. She moved soundly & freely.

2nd – Brownieglens Ghille Dhu - Repeat

Yearling Bitch – 4, 3 abs

1st - Cottivy Strawberry Moon – 21 month feminine female with enough bone & substance. Moderate front & good rear angles with a level backline held on the move. Just toes out fractionally in front.

Graduate Bitch – 7, 1 abs

1st – Ellhar Olga's Princess – 2 year old female with correct head proportions. Balanced body shape with good angles front & rear with a level backline held from all angles. Enough bone & substance, she moved freely with good rear thrust – Res CC

2nd – Zydahayes Scarlet Image – 17 month feminine female with a pretty head of good proportions. Well constructed, she has a neat outline with a level backline both in stance & on the move.

3rd – Cottivy Blue Moon

4th – Elessar Royal Coronet

5th - Saniaquinto Moonstruck

Post Graduate Bitch – 2

1st – Zydahayes Scarlet Tweed – 2.5 year old feminine female who was balanced all through. Well constructed with nothing over or under done, she moved freely with good rear thrust. Seriously considered for the Res CC.

2nd - Anwyl in The Limelight at Solaw (Imp Aus) – 2 year old female with a feminine head, balanced length of neck & level backline. She moved freely from all angles just toes out a fraction in front.

Limit Bitch – 3, 2 abs

1st – Salvenik Silk Rose for Ellhar – 4 year old feminine female with good head proportions, balanced length of neck & well constructed. She held her backline from all angles.

Open Bitch – 5, 2 abs

1st – Twinan Finger Lickin Good – 3 year old female with good bone, substance & balanced all through. Flat skull with a tapering muzzle, balanced length of neck. She has good angles front & rear giving her an exceptional front reach with corresponding strong rear thrust. Covers ground with a level backline held in profile & sound coming & going – CC & BOB

2nd – Ch Penliath Bill Me Later (ai) – 3.5 year old female. She has correct body proportions & level backline held on the move. Although she comes in a neat feminine package, I would like more size, bone & substance all through.

3rd - Salvenik Scarlet Rose
