Hungarian Puli

VD (1) 1st Ch. Callendu Despicable Me At Kashbeluli. 8 year old black in his prime. This boy instantly appeals for his excellent square outline, breed type and mature corded coat. Very good head proportions, excellent pigment. Strong, muscular neck. Deep chest, fine bone. Well ribbed. Firm loin. Moderately angled front and back. Moves with a brisk, sound gait. Well presented. CC, BOB and Group shortlist.

PD (2 ) 1st Montydom Gorgous George.

2nd Montydom White Riot In Wisley. Two white litter brothers of 10 months. Very similar for size, heads and overall conformation. Both gave a good account of themselves on the move, sound in all directions. Both had good coats for their age but think they will finish with two different cord types. Just preferred 1st for his squarer outline at this stage. Well presented pups, showing promise.

PGD (2) 1st Ludas Matyi Aladar. A young black of great type and of medium size but showing masculinity. Square outline. Pleasing head proportions. Super pigment . Moderate neck. Balanced angles and low set, firm hocks. Moved with a typical brisk gait. He has a thick coat that is cording well and immaculately presented. Should be an asset to the breed in the UK and will have a great future. Close-up in the challenge.

2nd Hungarian White Rasta Eber. Pleasing white for type, size and shape. Fine skull, eye could be darker and pigment stronger. Moderate angles and high set and carried tail. Well corded coat and good textured, especially for his colour. Sound mover.

LD (2) 1st Black ‘N’ Blue’s Ready To Rock With Gemeau. Masculine dog of pleasing type and outline on the stack. Quite deceiving as he looks longer than he actually is, hands-on, he is of a nice shape and I liked his length of leg. Good head proportions, medium eye, strong pigment. Moderate neck and angles. Topline could be stronger at times. Muscular, short loins. High set tail. Thick, strong cords. Very sound on the move.

2nd Flindattie The Shogun. Liked this boy for shape, size and overall appeal. Not quite the head proportions of 1st and moving a bit close going away today but a lovely, young dog, just starting to mature and I am sure he will have a good future. Overall, very well put together and an excellent corded coat. Beautifully put down as always from this exhibitor.

OD (1) 1st Ch. Moonshadow Mud Bug. Pleasing mature black of medium size. Liked him as a young dog and good to see has fulfilled his early promise. Fine, shapely skull. Dark eye and strong pigment. Moderate neck. Good lay of shoulder with return of upperarm. Fine bone. Well ribbed and firm quarters. Excellent mover. Just preferred the length of leg and consequently slightly better proportions of the CC winner but a lovely dog, which along with his immaculately corded coat, will always take the eye. Res CC.

VB (1) 1st Enter Suzy Q Vom Mullersgrund To Weetoneon. Bigger built white but presents a square, balanced outline. Feminine head, shapely skull. Pigment ok, especially for her colour. Moderate, muscular neck. Deep chest. Firm topline, Short loins. Good angulation. High set tail. Moved very well, especially from profile, keeping her outline at all times. Fully corded coat, clean and in good condition. Res CC.

PB (2) 1st Montydom Chantilly Lace. Pretty 10 month old white. Feminine head and outlook. Medium neck, good body for her age and square in outline. Gave a good account of herself, pleasing to go over on the table and a confident, sound mover. Well set and held tail. Coat typical for her age. Should have a good future. BP.

2nd MacLaurien Peggy Sue Of Cariadus. Liked the shape and femininity of this young black. Pleasing in head proportions. Good pigment. A bit overawed today and needs to settle to reach her full potential. Moved well enough. Understandably, coat needs time.

LB (1) 1st Flindattie Cherry Blossom By Kashbeluli. Very feminine in outlook, shape and size. Good overall type, lightly boned and excellent pigment. Mature body and pleasing to go over on the table. Moved well enough. Well corded coat.

OB (3) 1st Cariadus Casablanca. A new one to me and a pleasant surprise! 9 years old, but as is typical of the breed, totally belies her age. Very square in outline and appealed for type. Good head, eye and pigment. Correct amount of neck. Balanced angles. Firm topline. A bit lazy with her tail at times but it is set ok. Excellent, floor length corded coat. Moved with the correct amount of reach and drive. Pleased to award her the CC.

2nd Porgeloci Lonci. Liked this one from ringside as a youngster and she has matured well. Liked her overall head and body proportions. Good body and conformation. Well presented, corded coat. Moved ok, if a bit unenthusiastic. Sympathetically handled.
