Thank you to all the exhibitors that entered under me on the day for my first appointment. I had a very enjoyable day with a lot of wonderful dogs to judge. I was aware of the hot weather predicted and tried to make sure the judging was completed in a timely fashion. Saying this some of the dogs didn’t seem to be happy with the heat and I think this effected the results for some, on a different day it could possibly have had a different outcome. I was extremely happy with my winners, all of them wouldn’t look out of place in my house and I would have quite happily took any of them home with me. Most of the exhibits were of good weight and muscle tone with no real concerns which was great to find. 

Minor Puppy Dog (2:1)

1st Mr J & Miss C & Mr D, A & Mrs R, J Rogerson & Dalgarno & Simms & Simms, ARCTICSKIES FERNANDO AVEC KESSEM, 6 month old grey and white male brown eyes. Pleasing masculine head with good ear set. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Front legs straight with feet facing forward and the correct slope to the pasterns. Nice angulation front and rear with good proportions. Level topline with a good tail set. Very much a baby at present but moved steady did have a tendency to crab a little which could have been due to the heat as he has a very thick double coat. I’m sure this boy will have a bright future will watch with interest as he develops. BPD.

Junior Dog (2:1)

1st, Mr D & Mrs P Carmichael, PODRICALS THE GAMBLER BY GLANBRANTER. 13 months grey and white, brown eyes. Nice foxy masculine head with correct almond shape eye with good ear set. He was out of coat today but completely understandable at this time of year. Nice length of neck he has some maturing to do in the front, this is shown in his movement, he wasn’t getting the reach today and was a bit loose coming on the front. Plenty to like about him, good proportions with nice level topline and the correct slight rise to the loin with good rear angulation. Light on his feet, true at the rear with plenty of rear drive this boy just needs time to mature will watch his progress with interest.

Yearling Dog (3:1)

1st Mrs E Seaman’s ARCTICTREKS MR RAFFLES 20 month old, grey and white piebald, blue eyes. Lovely type, nice foxy masculine head, ears a tad wide but still a nice picture. Good length of neck with a slight arch, well laid shoulders with good front and rear angulation. Good depth to chest and good over all proportions with nice thick double coat on the day. Level topline, would prefer slightly more of a slope to croup and lower tail set to give a better overall picture. Sound moving all round with light free movement. Really liked him.

Novice Dog (4:1)

2nd Mrs E Seaman TRAILHUNTERS TORUK 4 year old grey and white, blue eyes. Well to size boy still with some maturing to do. Nice foxy masculine head with a nice almond shape eye good ear set. Nice length of neck and good overall proportions. Level topline with a slight rise to the loin and nice amount of slope to the croup and good tail set. Steady and light footed on the move. 

Post Graduate Dog (7:0)

1st Mr R J & Mrs K L Beirne PENKHALAS PENNINESNODRIFT 2 year old light grey and white male, brown eyes. Gorgeous foxy head, good eye set and shape with a nice ear set. Lovely mischievous expression. Nice length of neck and well laid shoulders with excellent front and rear angulation. Lovely proportions and a nice overall picture on the stand. Good length of back to leg ratio, is on the higher end of the standard in size. Nice movement when settle can be a bit wild when he isn’t focused but once he got into his stride he was sound and had a lovely free lightfooted movement. His litter sister was my RCC winner and they are so much alike I’m sure they will both go far, lovely dogs. 

2nd Mr & Mrs J & D Mcinnes INNESKA MALACHITE 2 year old dark grey and white, Parti eyes. Lovely foxy head with correct set and shape to his eyes with a good ear set. Smaller in size than 1st, balanced angulation front and rear with a nice overall picture on the stand. Out of coat on the day which is not surprising for the time of year. Sound mover all directions with a light free movement will take time to mature but will watch him develop with interest.

3rd Mrs H J Snelson AZGARD MONTICRISTO AT ASHTRAX.

Limit Dog (5:1)

1st Mr I Robinson, KERIQUEL PEARL DIVER 2 year old dark grey and white, brown eyes. Super handsome foxy head with good almond shape eye and lovely ear set. This boy screamed mischief in his expression. Lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders with excellent balance to front and rear angulation. Nice length of leg to body ratio with a level topline. Slight arch to the loin and a nice slope to the croup and good tail set. Once settled, moved soundly in all directions with a light, free flowing side gait. I really liked this boy he was a contender for the CC but got pushed hard by the veteran dog. I was super pleased to award him the RCC I’m sure it’s the start of many to come. 

2nd Mrs H J Snelson SALAZKA’S MR ABERNATHY AT ASHTRAX 4.5 year old black and white, brown eyes. Super foxy head with almond shape eyes and a lovely ear set. Unlucky to meet 1st today. Lovely overall proportions and great outline with good leg to body ratio. Nice balanced front and rear angulation with a nice slope to his pastern. Level topline with a slight arch to the loin and a good slope to his croup with good tail set. He is a bit wider at the elbows than 1st but with no weakness, sound moving from all angles with light free side gait. Nice boy.

3rd Miss Z M Thomas, EVERSEPP FIREBALL.

Open Dog (5:0)

1st Miss J Allen CH SIBERIADRIFT KEEP THE LOVE FOR ZIMAVOLK JW SHCM 5.5 year old red and white, brown/parti eye. The last time I judged this boy was when he was still very young before he was a champion and I awarded him BOB, he has matured into a fabulous boy. The achievements this dog has, speaks for itself. Excellent foxy head with an alert mischievous expression with almond shape eyes and great ear set. Nice length of neck into well laid shoulders and good angulation front and rear giving a balanced picture on the stand. Excellent coat and good length of leg, would prefer a tad more length to the loin. Good slope to the croup however he has a slightly higher tail set but he carries it well. Super sound mover in all directions I’m sure his success will continue for years to come. Lovely boy. 

2nd Mr I Robinson FROSTYNIGHTS BLOODRAVEN 6 year old dilute black and white, parti eyes. So much to like about this boy. He is a rangier boy than 1st which didn’t help with him being totally out of coat on the day. Super foxy head with nice almond shape eyes he didn’t want to use his ears today but set ok. Lovely length to neck into well laid shoulders and good front and rear angulation. Excellent condition with superb muscle tone. Nice over all shape and proportions however he just seemed like he didn’t want to be there on the day. Not sure if the weather didn’t help. He moved soundly in all directions but just didn’t seem to want to extend on the side gait today. On another day the results could well have been different, still a super boy and deserves his title hope it’s not too far away.

Veteran dog (2:1)

1st Mr & Mrs Biddlecombe CH KORSVIG’S COOPER AT TSARITSA 10 year old black and white piebald, brown eyes. Wow what a boy this is and at 10 years old he is looking better than ever. Super foxy head with a gorgeous expression, excellent almond shape eyes and a great ear set. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders and excellent angulation front and rear giving a balanced picture. Excellent leg to body ratio with excellent proportions. In great coat which looks like he just held onto. This boy came alive on the move the best mover of the day certainly showed the younger ones how it’s done. So sound on the out and back and his reach and drive was excellent, such light footed effortless movement, one I could watch all day long. DCC, BOB and BVIB he represented the breed fabulously in the groups.

Minor Puppy Bitch (1:0)

1st Miss E C Ferretti) ARCTICSKIES SUPER TROUPER FOR LYRVID 6 month old grey and white, brown eyes. Really sweet little girl very new to showing but she took it all in her stride. Very pretty head with a foxy mischievous expression with a nice ear set, lovely long neck into well laid shoulders. Her angulation front and rear was good creating a balanced picture. Little short in the rib cage for me would prefer her to have a bit more length in body. Mature for her age I’m sure she will go on to do well she was litter sister to my Best puppy dog and very similar comments apply here too. She did start to feel the heat by the end of the day and started to loose her sparkle on the move which cost her going any further. Otherwise true from all angles on the move. 

Puppy Bitch (2:0)

1st Miss N R Simmons FORSTAL’S SNOW 11 month old white, brown eyes. Lovely foxy head correct eye set and shape with a nice ear set. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders just needs time to mature and settle into herself. Good overall proportions and balanced angulation front and rear. Nice leg to body ratios with correct level topline with a slight arch to the loin. Good slope to her croup and good tail set and carriage. Took her time to settle on the move but once she did she was sound from all directions and moved freely with ease. A lot of potential just lost out on best puppy bitch to her kennel mate.

2nd As Previous MPB Class Miss E C Ferretti) ARCTICSKIES SUPER TROUPER FOR LYRVID.

Junior Bitch (5:0)

1st Miss N R Simmons’ FORSTAL’S JETSKA AT AURORASDREAM, 11 month old black and white, blue eyes. Lovely foxy head with a mischievous expression. Correct eye shape and set with a good ear set. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders and excellent angulation front and rear giving a balanced outline. Nice proportions for age she is very much a baby at this stage still plenty of maturing to do. Lovely level topline with a slight rise to her loin and correct slope to her croup and good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly from all angles with good reach and drive once settled. Should have a bright future. BP & BSB.

2nd Ms M Hannam’s CHAROITE SUNDANCE 14 month old grey and white bitch, brown eyes. Lost out to one on her head shape. Eyes a little wide for my liking still has some maturing to do which may improve her head proportions. Good over all shape and in good condition. Nice length of neck, well laid shoulders and nice proportions. She has a lovely ground covering light-footed gait and was sound coming and going still has plenty of maturing to do. 

3rd Miss S Whatsley LUPACCHIOTTO’S TROUBLE.

Yearling bitch (3:1)

1st Miss J Allen’s MOON ECLIPSE WILCZA DUSZA OF ZIMAVOLK (IMP POL) 21 month old, 

dark grey and white, brown eyes. Another with a head that wasn’t typical to what I was looking for. Skull was a little flat from her eyes to her ears and her wider ear set made this stand out more. Good length of neck and shoulders ok. Nice angulation front and rear giving a balance outline and good length of body. Good over all proportions and shape nice level topline and good tail set and carriage. This girl won the class on her movement, excellent light footed, ground covering movement so sound coming and going.

2nd Mrs El Seaman’s ARCTICTREKS TALISMAN 19 month grey and white, blue eyes. Super pretty foxy head, correct eye set and shape with a nice ear set. Nice neck length and well laid shoulders. Good angulation front and rear giving a balance outline, nice leg length to body proportions just looked a tad shorter in the back than my class winner. Preferred the reach and drive of 1 but this bitch still moved well and sound from all directions good tail set and carriage still has plenty of maturing to do yet. 

Novice Bitch (4:1)

1st Mr I & Mrs L Sinclair’s ZARCHENSKI COUNTES MUSGROV OF LESAMIAN 3 year old black and white, brown eyes. Foxy head with nice eye shape and set would have preferred ears to be a little closer but didn’t ruin the over all picture. This girl has a lovely shape on the stand. Excellent proportions with great angulation front and rear giving her a balanced outline. Well laid shoulders and good length of neck and nice level topline. Would prefer her tail set a little lower. On the move she let her self down a little and held her tail tight over her back and was quite erratic on the move. Once this girl settles I think she could do really well, moved soundly on the split seconds I could see, giving her handler a hard time.

Postgraduate bitch (6:1) 

Super class with some tough decisions.

1st Mr T & Mrs S Hart PENKHALAS MY EVALINE FROM SAWKKAST 2 year old light grey and white, brown eyes. This girl just oozes breed type. Lovely foxy head correct eye set and shape with well set ears. Excellent shape, good neck into well laid shoulders with excellent proportions. Excellent angulation front and rear giving a balanced picture in profile and on the move. Lovely level topline with a slight arch over her loin with a correct tail set. Lovely light footed, ground covering sound movement. In nice coat on the day too, this girl really pushed for the CC was delighted to award her the RCC I’m sure she will have a very bright future. Certainly alot to like.

2nd Mr & Mrs Biddlecombe’s TSARITSA OETTINGER 2 year old grey and white, brown eyes. A super foxy head with good eye shape and set with an excellent ear set. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders and excellent angulation front and rear. Good proportions throughout giving a balanced outline with a level topline and slight rise over the loin with good tail set and carriage. Unfortunate to meet 1 on the day, who just had that slightly longer body giving that better over all picture. Taking nothing away from this bitch I would be happy to take her home with me and did consider her for a green card I’m sure her day will come. 

3rd Mr & Mrs J & D Mcinnes INNESKA BLACK PEARL.

Limit bitch (4:0)

1st Mr I & Mrs L Sinclair SALAZKA SERAPHINA PICQUERY AT LESAMIAN 4.5 year old black and white, brown eyes. Litter sister to my second in limit dog with very much similar attributes to him. Nice foxy head with good eye set and shape with a good ear set. I’ve judged this girl before and liked her but the floor was challenging, she coped better on the day today. Lovely shape and proportions with good angulation front and rear giving a balanced outline. Nice level topline with good tail set and carriage. Sound moving in all directions once settled. 

2nd Mr and Mrs Biddlecombe’s KERIQUEL CLOUDLIGHT AT TSARITSA almost 6 year old light grey and white, blue eyes. Lovely foxy head with correct eye set and shape with an excellent ear set. Another that took time to settle today. Nice proportions and balanced outline. Good neck and well laid shoulders. Good length of back with a level topline and slight arch over the loin. Nice slope to her croup and good tail set and carriage. Was slightly heavier all over than my 1st but still of good type. Sound mover with a good ground covering gait and true coming and going.  

3rd Mrs S E Robinson NORSTE ZINNIA QANNIK AMOUNG RIGRUNNER.

1st Ms S, Ms S & Ms A Leich, Leich &Koops’ FORSTAL’S TSULA 5 year old grey and white, blue eyes. Super foxy head with correct eye set and shape with a good ear set. Lovely length to her neck into well laid shoulders. Nice angulation front and rear giving a balanced outline. Level topline with a slight rise to her loin, good slope to her croup and good tail set and carriage. Sadly looks like the sun got to her on the day she didn’t seem to want to put the effort in, which cost her going any further. Sound coming and going and good ground covering movement. 

2nd Miss A Shelford CH JOY AV VARGEVASS AT POLARQUEST (IMP NOR) almost 6 year old grey and white, brown eyes. Super foxy head with nice eye set and shape. Would prefer a closer ear set to give a better overall picture. Another that wasn’t herself on the day. Lovely length to her neck and well laid shoulders. Would prefer more chest between her front legs was a tad narrow. Good over all shape with excellent proportions giving a balanced outline. Good level topline and slight arch over the loin, correct slope to her croup and good tail set and carriage. Nice free flowing ground covering movement in profile.

3rd Mr C & Mrs J Nicholls CH ARCTICSKIES BLACK TRUFFLE FOR SHYLLAR.

Veteran Bitch (4:1)

1st Miss R Cunningham’s ICEBEX YIPPEE KI YEY 7 year old black and white, blue eyes. This girl pull out all the stops today. Super foxy head with a lovely almond shape eye well set. Excellent ear set and shape. Lovely body ratios, good length of neck and well laid shoulders. Nice front and rear angulation giving a balanced picture on the stand. Good length of body and a level topline with slight arch over the loin. Correct slope to her croup and correct tail set and carriage. Sound both front and rear. This girl just comes alive on the move. A super free, ground covering movement with excellent reach and drive and so sound coming and going. I was delighted to award her the CC and BOS I was told after, this was her 3rd CC welldone on your new champion, well deserved. 

2nd Mr & Mrs J & D Mcinnes’ CH HUSHWING HAPPY FEET AT INNESKA JW 7 year old dark Grey and white, blue eyes. Super foxy head with correct almond shape eye, ears a tad wide. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Excellent proportions, good length of leg to body and nice length of back. Good level topline and slight arch to the loin with a good tail set and carriage. Super ground covering, free flowing movement however she was moving a little close at the rear on the day. 

3rd Miss A Shelford SNOWTREKKA ENCHANTRESS.

Good length of neck and shoulders were ok. Would prefer a tad move leg length to give a better over all picture. Nice slope to her croup and well set tail and carriage. Move soundly coming and going.
