Having not judged this breed for some time, I was really looking forward to the appointment, sadly I was really disappointed with the quality, consistency and lack of breed type in the exhibits today which I feel doesn’t bode well for the future of the breed. Where I found good breed type they lacked in construction throughout the entry.

1. Willicombe/Mackenzie’s Milagre Revolution. Withheld.

1. Hall’s Estjak Riodouro at Kayarrach. 4 years old and a nicely presented male of good size and substance who was strong without showing signs of coarseness, masculine head, standing he was a nice outline, he had a good depth of chest with pleasing body proportions, showed some signs of good movement in profile but extremely loose and uncoordinated in the rear going away, BD & BOB.

2. Tychowski’s Cossus D’domus Stella (imp POR). Brindle of 19 months, very immature and lacking in body and condition, ok in head and eye, decently angulated front and rear, very unsettled and unsure of his surroundings.

1. Dean’s Asterel Deeago. 11 year old male, still showing well for his age, expressive head with black mask, looked well in outline standing, fairly well angulated front and rear, moved out ok, presented in well muscled condition, RBD & BV.

2. Reid’s Milagre Ice Ice Baby. 10 year old bitch, not as clean in front as 1st and lacking the angulation of above, feminine head and expression with good temperament, sound in top-line, she moved ok but lacked body condition, RBB.

1. Dean’s Asterel A Bit Of Magic. 4 years old with feminine head and expression, good eye and pigment, lovely temperament, could be a little cleaner in front, decent angulation with deep chest, would like more bone and substance, moved ok, coat and condition ok, BB.

1. Reid’s Port Ch. Seia Da Quinta Moinhos das Almas with Milagre (imp POR). 5 year old, brindle, feminine head and expression, good depth of chest and sound in top-line, another where I would like to see more breed type, angulation ok, moved out ok.
