Many thanks to the exhibitors for giving me such a nice entry, I was very aware of the temperatures on the day and tried to judge you as efficiently and quickly as I could in order that your dogs could retreat to cooler areas and not become too distressed with the heat.

SAMOYED

1.Prout’s Jackson Maltayed at Furzeland (imp PL) NAF. 9 months old, masculine head and dark eye, good pigment, strong neck and shoulders with straight front, correct bone and feet, although I would have preferred better body proportions, he moved out freely in profile but was a little untidy on the out and back, presented in quality coat of good texture, RBD.

1.Norris’ Cocosamel Noir. Nicely presented male of 13 months, masculine head with keen expression when he used his ears, good eye set and colour, good pigment, nicely angulated front and rear with sound top-line, good bone and feet, another who moved freely in profile but I would like a tidier movement overall when coming and going, good tail set and carriage, would have liked a better coat, BD.

1.Gwynne’s Rosnorske Obi Wan Kenobi. 5½ year old male, liked his outline and proportions, masculine head with kind, lovely expression with a happy smile, good pigment, eye set and colour, good use of ears, well feathered feet, would prefer a better texture of coat, showed some sound movement in profile but very loose in the rear going away.

1.Marino Parlanti/Hirschmann’s Flowy Wolf in Sheep’s Skin (imp POL). Bitch of 11 months, feminine in head but I would like better head qualities, even at this stage, needs to strengthen in muzzle, fair angulation front and rear with a sound top-line, she was giving her handler such a hard time today making it difficult to assess her, showed some promising profile movement when settled, keep practising.

1.Gwynne’s Rosnorske’s Royal Amethyst. Beautifully presented young bitch of 11 months, so much to like about her, very feminine with lovely keen expression, good eye set and colour, correct ears, strong neck, lovely straight front with correct bone, sound in top-line and nicely angulated all through, ideal body proportions, good tail set and carriage, dressed in the most immaculate jacket, she moved out freely covering the ground with ease, RBB, BP and delighted to see her win the Puppy Group later in the day, I’m sure this young bitch has a very promising future ahead of her.

2.Prout’s Frosti Fluff at Furzeland. Bitch of just 6½ months, head developing well, dark eye and good pigment, strong neck and shoulders with straight front and good bone, sound top-line with well muscled rear quarters, coat developing but of correct texture, when she settled into her stride, she showed some free and easy ground covering movement.

3.Marino Parlanti/Hirschmann’s Flowy Wolf in Sheep’s Skin (imp POL).

1.Dayus’ Cocosamel Vibrante. 13 months bitch of nice proportions, feminine head and expression, good bone and feet, straight front, well angulated in fore and rear with sound top-line, good depth of chest, strong loin, moved out well in all directions, well muscled, presented in a clean, quality coat of good texture.

2.Young’s Cocosamel Camelia. Another nicely presented bitch of 13 months, less mature than 1, feminine head and expression although I would like a better balance overall in head, pleasing body proportions, good bone and feet, nicely angulated with sound top-line, well muscled rear quarters, she showed some promising movement in profile, out of coat today.

1.Brandenberg/Smith’s Ch. Taronakits It’s Kwest JW. Well presented bitch of 4 years, very feminine all through with kindest of expression, good eye set and colour, lovely ears which she used well, loved her outline and body proportions, straight front with correct bone and feet, very sound in all departments, she was well muscled and moved out freely covering the ground with ease, wearing her best party dress, a picture moving and standing, BB & BOB.

2.Young’s Cocosamel Misia. Another nicely presented bitch of 5 years, a little stronger in head than I would like but still a lovely expression, nice body proportions, good depth of chest, good feet and bone, presented in a quality coat and moved out well in all directions, well muscled and fit.
