FINNISH LAPPHUNDS

Thank you to all the exhibitors for their acceptance of may placings and for staying on what was a rather warm day and also being 3rd in a ring, although there was plenty of shade and a breeze.

SPECIAL BEGINNERS D/B ( 3/1)

1. Pelling – TABANYARUU AURORA AHKHERA, to have this little lady in my first class was a pleasure and hopefully another good start to her show career. She is of good size, in super coat and body for age. Pleasing head, well balanced with a good ear set which she used very well. I liked her overall balance and free movement. Good bone and body. Not only Reserve BB, Best Spl Beginners but took PPG placing and Spl Beg Group placings too

2. Rutter – LAPPONNIA LUNAR COSMOS, male of good size. Liked head and expression. Good neck and shoulders. Nice length of back, good tail set but I felt his movement was a bit too close behind. However he still took Reserve BD

PUPPY D/B (3/1)

1. Pelling – TABANYARUU AURORA AHKHERA

2. Gough – SAMBREEZE KOALA BEAR, pretty young lady, who has yet to learn her craft. Loved her attitude in the ring. Pleasing head and expression. Good level back with good tail set and carriage. Once she settles should have a bright future.

JUNIOR D/B (5/3)

1. Critchlow & Simpson – PAVASKAS FENNEL, very pleasing young man whose handler just needs to gain a little more confidence and promote her charge. Good size and shape. Liked his head and skull, good eye placing. Ample neck and body. Liked his bone, moved very well. BD & BOB

2. Moore – MORVAL SATURI, smaller type than I prefer but still a pleasing boy. I would prefer more length of back and stronger in head properties but he moved quite well in the heat.

OPEN BITCH (4/2)

1. Graystone – CH MORVAL HELINA KEIJU – well made bitch, good head with lovely eye set and expression. Strong neck and good shoulders liked her outline and moved very well. BB

2. Moore – CH MORVAL SALAINAN HAAVE, lovely mature lady, just beginning to show her age. Liked her size and outline and very impressed with her positive movement and lost out for RBB to a very precocious youngster.
