I thoroughly enjoyed judging this breed for the first time at CC level. A wonderful crowd of very sporting exhibitors. I had a wonderful day - thank you all very much indeed.

1st: CHORLEY- NEWTON, CHORLEY, FLINDERS, Mrs & Misses S Kerryfair Just Be. Good outline - well balanced. Masculine, well shaped head. Deep chest. Gently sloping topline. Long hip to hock. Movement needs to tidy. Up. In excellent coat and condition. BP

2nd: HOWLETT, Miss Roisin & PROWTING, Mr Mike Thendara Albatross. Lovely puppy - just needs to strengthen in quarters. Super head with well defined stop. Deep chest. Good bone. Well set hocks. Moved steadily.

2nd: NEEDS, Mrs Anne & NEEDS, Mr William Covarney Paco Rabanne at Stourford. Close up to winner. Well balanced all through. Head of good length. Clean, long neck. Correct topline. Well made hindquarters. Excellent coat and condition. Not quite the drive on the move as the winner.

3rd: PRANGLE, Miss Claire Heathclare American Dollar JW ShCM ShCEx.

1st: ROFFEY, Miss Suzy Sh Ch Gwendariff Lucy's Legacy. I thought this dog was stunning. He just flows from nose to tail. Excellent breed outline. Head is narrow and of a good length with well defined stop. Low set ears. Clean neck set correctly into his shoulders which allows for the correct head carriage on the move. Deep in chest and forelegs of good length. Correct sloping topline. Well ribbed back to short loin. Strong, powerful hindquarters - long hip to hock with good width of second thigh and short rear pasterns. In excellent coat and condition. Moved with ease around the ring - at one with his handler. CC & BOB.

2nd: ALLEN, Mr Geoff Tom & BOTT, Mr Paul & MORGAN, Mrs Sh Ch Quensha Take A Bow. Well balanced all through. Scores in head with well defined stop and eyebrows. Good length of neck and depth of chest. Not the length of forelegs as the winner. Strong hindquarters. Long hip to hock. Excellent coat and condition. Moved strongly.

2nd: MAPLE, Mrs Lynne Pollnac New Miracle. Very raw compared to the winner but still well balanced with all the essentials. Head of good length. Chest deep and narrow. Needs to strengthen in her hindquarters. Moved steadily.

1st: HART, Mr & Mrs Gill & Graham Gwendariff The Handmaid's Tale. Another puppy straight out of the top draw. Super outline. Long, narrow head with good stop. Clean neck leading to well laid shoulder. Deep and narrow in chest. Well ribbed back. Correct topline. Long hip to hock with short rear pasterns. Moved on a good stride. In the challenge for BP she flagged a little - not surprising in that heat - but a lovely puppy non the less. BPB.
