1st Place Alchez Guava Nice Day (Mrs D & Mrs J Casentieri)

This chap is six months old and progressing in the right direction. On the stack he has a good outline. Head is developing nicely and he has a good front assembly on him, good through the neck and body well-made and of good proportions. For one so young he moved out well.

1st Place Tokaji Nashville Rebel (Mrs D & Mrs P Hardy & Hallam)

I really liked this three-year-old dog, full of breed type and I thought he had super quality about him. Clean in outline with a good headpiece, well-proportioned with good wrinkle. Neck is strong into well set shoulders and correct return of forearm. Body well made with ribs well sprung and level back, short coupled loin. Strong well-made hind quarters with a moderate bend of stifle. He has a super tight curl on his tail and decent pliant skin. Moved out well, close up in the challenge but just not as fluid as the open winner in front action.

A super class to judge with some top-quality dogs, I was splitting hairs, the final decision went on movement.

1st Place Ch Tokaji Walking in Memphis (Mrs D & Mrs P Hardy & Hallam)

Smart dog with a good outline and with correct proportions. Head is masculine with good finish, well chiselled with a good eye, ears set on correctly. Super neck and a good front on him, shoulders well laid back, good forearm, he stands on fine boned legs and good feet. Short level back, ribs well sprung, short coupled. Quarters have good angulation, well developed with moderately bent stifles. Moved out well, legs carried straight with a swinging stride. Held his shape well on the move to give him the advantage over the second placed dog. A quality dog who was on point today and took the top spot. Best Dog.

2nd Place Ch Swanwite Take A Chance On Me (Mrs I Legget)

On the stack I thought this chap would be the winner, he has a super head piece with ears well set, masculine intelligent expression and good wrinkles. Strong neck into a good front assembly with shoulders well set. Stands on straight legs, fine boned and good feet. Ribs well sprung, slightly longer in loin than the winner and not quite as firm in topline. Quarters well made with moderately bent stifles. Excellent coat and pliant skin. Had a good action but was rather exuberant on the move, especially on the final run off when he just lost his shape which cost him the class. Couldn’t deny his quality and therefore Reserve Best Dog.

3rd Place Rus Ch Mascote Itapuca of Alchez (Imp Bra) (Ms C J & Mr T F Casentieri)

1st Place Alchez Koko Kola (Ms C J & Mr T F Casentieri)

Another lovely baby from this exhibitor and she has that same super outline as the boys. She has a pleasing feminine head and expression. She has a clean reach of neck into well laid shoulders, stands on fine boned legs and good feet. Good angles front and rear. Body proportions are good giving a square shape. Quarters are developing nicely, and her tail is set on well. She moved out well with a good action to take the class and later Best Puppy, congratulations.

2nd Place Jenbasi Stargazer (Mrs J Carless)

This lady was at the in-between growing stage at the moment and did not have the shape of the winner. Her head is pleasing with a good shape. Neck into shoulder is good and body of good proportions. Quarters are developing nicely. Needs to settle on the move but what I could see she had decent footfall.

1st Place Zvezdny Alliance Genie in A Bottle (Imp Ukr) NAF (Ms C J & Mr T F Casentieri)

A nice type of brindle girl with elegance about her. I liked her head shape enhanced by a pleasing eye and well-set ears. Good front assembly on her, stands on good legs. Good through the ribs, a tad longer in loin and quarters well developed. Held her topline well. Good on the move both in profile and on the up and down. A promising youngster.

Post Graduate Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 1

1st Place Tokaji Kiss Me Kate (Mrs D & Mrs P Hardy & Hallam)

A lot to like about the 18 month old lady. I liked her overall shape and proportions. Her head is feminine with a pleasing expression. Good neck into a decent shoulder placement. Stands on good legs and feet. Body of balanced proportions, ribs well sprung, loin short coupled and well-made quarters. Good on the move, especially in profile but not quite as good as the open winner in front action, so today had to settle for Reserve Best Bitch.

1st Place Alchez Kivu (Ms C J & Mr T F Casentieri)

Very striking outline on this two-year-old black and white lady. Her head is pleasing, well chiselled and has a good shape, well set on ears. Super neck into shoulders which are well set. Stands on good legs and feet, would like a little more depth of brisket and spring of rib but she should do that as she matures. Quarters well made, tail set on well, stifles moderately bent. Good side gait but wasn’t as together on the up and down at the principal winner which cost her in the challenge.

1st Place Ch Tokaji Moon over Miami with Mutoko JW (Mrs P Nash)

A three-year-old bitch that has quality stamped through the middle of her, everything I was looking for today. Square in shape with a classic feminine head piece enhanced by a lovely eye, good wrinkle and ears set on correctly. Super neck on her in to well set shoulders, well laid with a good return of forearm. Body well developed, firm in topline, well sprung ribs and firm loin. Quarters well developed; stifles moderately bent. Decent tail and skin. Moved out well with a good swinging stride, super font action and inside profile which gave her Best Bitch and later Best of Breed over the dog which it transpires was her litter brother. Thank you for bringing her today.

1st Place Woodella Purple Haze over Cooperland ShCM (Mr P G & Miss M L Richardson & Wood)

A grand lady who belies her age, her head is of good shape and proportions, pleasing eye and fine ears. Good through the neck in to well placed shoulders, stands on good legs and feet. Well ribbed up and level topline. Good quarters on her, stifles moderately bent. Moved out well especially in profile. My Best Veteran and later pleased to watch her awarded Group 3, many congratulations.

1st Place Aheme Cinnamon Swirl for Justartee (Mrs J W Stratton)

A young elegant bitch of 18 months who is still developing, her head is feminine and has good proportions with a kind dark eye which enhances her expression, ears well set on. Good neck into shoulders, body proportions well made, ribs need to spring a little, but she should do that as she matures. Needs to settle a little bit on the move but that is just about practice.
