1st Place Run in The Woods (Mr P Gregory)

This young man is seven and a half months and a very exciting prospect, at this age everything is in the right place and developing as it should be. Head of good proportions with a good eye, needs to darken a little but should do that with age. Super front on him, good lay back of shoulder and return of upper arm. Body of good proportion and quarters are well made. Moved out really well once he settled. Super coat. Later was my pleasure to award him Reserve Best Dog to his sire.

2nd Life Journey at Dkai (Miss C Chapman)

Litter brother to the winner and shares many of the same positive attributes. Another with a super head piece, not quite the front angulation of his brother. Stands on good legs and feet. Well made in body with balanced proportions. Ribs and loin developing as they should be and well-made quarters. Moved out very well with a good action. I suspect these two will change place many times in the future.

1st Place Oakmarsh Haunting Howl (ai) (Miss C A Pont)

Substantially made chap who presents a good outline on the stack, I like his head piece which was well developed with a kind eye. Neck into shoulders is good and he has a decent lay back on him. Ribs well sprung, a shade long in loin. Quarters are well made with a good bend of stifle. Handler was holding him back on the move a little today which meant although he was sound and had good footfall, I didn’t get to see him go.

1st Place Sh Ch Arnac Bay Huron at Bergelle JW (Miss M V, Mr J & Mr J Mahon, Hunns & Newton)

A very smart dog who stood out in this entry, not surprised to see he already has his title. He has a super outline on the stack with balanced angles front and rear. Head is well made with good overall proportion, good eye which enhances his expression. Clean reach of neck into well laid shoulders, stands on well boned legs and good feet. Ribs well sprung and firm in loin. Quarters are well developed with stifles well bent. In really hard condition and a super typical coat on him. Moved out well to take both Best Dog and Best of Breed, thank you for bringing him today.

1st Place Amore of Ridsome (Imp Ita) (Miss C A Pont)

Another exciting youngster here, just 12 months and so well put together for her age. I loved her feminine head and expression, good shape and very pretty. Super front on her, shoulders well set and a good return of upper arm, good depth of chest for her age. Stands on well boned legs and neat feet. Body is well developed and well-made quarters. Coat of good condition and texture. If she carries on growing in this vein she will have a bright future ahead of her, my pleasure to award her Reserve Best Bitch.

2nd Place Oakmarsh Indian Dream Maker for Cravessa (Mr C R & Mrs V M Searles)

This lady was at that in-between stage of development and not as balanced as the winner. Pleasing head and expression, good reach of neck into a decent lay back of shoulder, just a tad short in upper arm. Stands on well boned legs. Body developing nicely, needs to firm up in topline a little. Moved out well, just would like her a little tidier as she comes towards me.

3rd Place Oakleaf Manor Bay of Oakmarsh (Imp Deu) (Miss K Watts)

1st Place Pixiesrock Queen of Hearts at Elwistone (Miss J & Mr D & Miss L Coppin & Davies-Jones & Murch)

Really nice bitch on the move which gave her the class. She has good overall shape and balanced angles front and rear. A decent front on her and good depth of chest. Short coupled and decent hindquarters. Coat of good condition, harsh and with good texture.

2nd Place Oakmarsh Haunting Melody (ai) (Miss S Turner)

This lady is out of a slightly bigger frame to the winner, well made overall with a feminine head and expression. Good neck and lay back of shoulder but I would like a little more upper arm. Decent spring of rib and depth of chest. Quarters well made, fluid on the move.

3rd Place Oakmarsh Indian Dream Maker for Cravessa (Mr C R & Mrs V M Searles)

1st Place Dallandor Jocasta (Miss J & Mr D Coppin & Davies-Jones)

This lady was close up for the runner up spot. She is a well-made girl with good proportions and was in good coat. She has a feminine head and expression, good neck into shoulders and stands on good legs and feet. Good through the body with ribs well sprung. Well developed quarters, good muscle tone and with stifles well turned. She moved out well, good side gait just a shade untidy as she came towards me.

2nd Place Oakmarsh Freedom (Miss K Watts)

This lady left her best jacket at home today. She is three and half years old and has a head of good proportions. Good lay back of shoulder but would have liked a little more return of upper arm. Body of good proportions, ribs have a decent spring and tuck up. Quarters well made. Good on the move.
