1st Place Andvol Z Sieger at Ermyn (Imp Rus), Breed: Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) (Mrs M H Davies)

A smart Tri male who has good size and substance about him. Head pleasing with an intelligent expression. Good in neck into well laid shoulders, good in body with ribs springing correctly for his age, level topline. Stands on good legs and feet. Well angulated hindquarters, he moved out true with a free action to take this place over the second place.

2nd Place Skaijaks Ickle N'ilustrius, Breed: Polish Lowland Sheepdog (L A & S C Naylor)

Very close up to the winner and full of quality. Feminine bitch with a super head and expression enhanced by a lovely dark eye. She presented a balanced outline on the stack, super front assembly on her, clean in neck into well placed shoulders, stands on well boned legs and oval feet. Body of good proportions and well angulated quarters, giving the correct rectangular shape. Presented in super coat and condition. Very close up to winning the class but just lost her topline on the final run off which cost her the class. I am sure she will have a bright future ahead of her.

3rd Place Afterglow Sky Miles to Bordercot, Breed: Shetland Sheepdog (Mrs R & Mr J Brady & Lynn)

1st Place Ch Juffther Happy Bunny JW ShCM, Breed: Rottweiler (Mrs J Horton)

What a super lady this 7-year-old is, she is absolutely cracking on the move with the most superb side gait. Well balanced throughout. She has a typical feminine head, good breadth of skull and eye of correct oval shape to enhance her expression. Strong neck into well placed shoulders, well angulated front and rear. Legs with strong bone and compact feet. Good depth of forechest and held her level topline throughout. Quarters well developed, plenty of angulation behind. Shown in super condition, a privilege to judge.

2nd Place Dreamweaver of Sereno Spirit (IKC), Breed: White Swiss Shepherd Dog (Mr C & Mrs D Henshaw)

Another super veteran, super head and expression on him. Has a good outline with a gently sloping topline. Chest of correct depth and strong hindquarters. Moved out well with a good profile action, just wasn’t as tidy as the winner as he came towards me today.

A.V. Hound/Toy/Terrier Junior Entries: 50 Absentees: 0

1st Place Pamplona New Sensation, Breed: Bichon Frise (Mr R & Mr M Smith & Coad)

What a little star this young lady is, she had quality stamped right through her. She has a beautiful head and expression, which is well proportioned with a good halo and super expressive eyes. Well-made throughout. She has super carriage on the move, carries her tail well, excellent in profile and had super foot fall. Surely destined for great things, I thought she was stunning.

2nd Place Hespa Masseto of Africaner, Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback (Mr J & Mrs C Mackfall)

Another one I thought really smart and unlucky to meet the winner. He is 14 months old and has super make and shape on him. His head is balanced with good proportions, clean neck into a super front assembly. Stands on well boned legs and good feet. Well made in body, his topline never faltered. Well ribbed back and super well-muscled quarters on him. Excels in profile movement with a free and active gate.

3rd Place Paavalis Paddington at Cassibawn, Breed: Pomeranian (Mrs N Gooch)

I was splitting hairs between these two both super examples of their respective breeds.

1st Place Ch Danluke Lord of The Dance JW, Breed: Whippet (Mrs H Johnston)

A super boy who has the most super outline and balanced proportions throughout. He has a lovely head piece, long and lean, enhanced by a super eye and well-set ears. Clean in neck into a good front assembly, forearms straight and with good bone. Depth of chest which is well filled. Body well made with well sprung ribs and good in loin. Well-developed hindquarters with stifles well bent. Impressed on the move with an easy stride.

2nd Place Ch/int/bel Ch Gairside Good Lord JW ShCM ShCEx Cw19, Breed: Basset Griffon Vendeen (Grand) (Mr C & Mrs A Makey)

An old favourite of mine who has done well under me before, his crowing glory is his movement where he just came alive with that free action that is called for in the breed. He has that typical noble head and expression, which he carried proudly, enhanced by good furnishings. Strong in neck into well laid shoulders. Stands on good straight legs and good feet. Body of good proportions, ribs well rounded and firm in loin. Quarters well developed with a good bend of stifle. Held his shape well both on the stack and on the move. Coat rough of correct texture.

3rd Place Thistlebe Them There Eyes at Eblanahalls ShCM ShCEx VW, Breed: Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (Mrs L N Lui)

1st Place Wellingley Way Ahead, Breed: Miniature Schnauzer (Miss K Davidson)

This young lady was 15 months old well balanced, stylish and full of attitude. She has a lovely head piece with a super dark eye, clean neck into a good lay back of shoulder. Forelegs straight and well boned. Good depth for her age, back strong and short coupled. Hindquarters well made and held her topline and shape throughout. Moved well and just had that something extra to take the class over the super Chow. Good luck with her for the future.

2nd Place Chifido Chunky Chutney JW, Breed: Chow Chow (Ms J Webb)

Have judged him a few months ago and he didn’t disappoint again today, what a super young man he is turning out to be. Full of breed type he is well balanced and has a super free gait on the move and carries his head proudly. His head is masculine with a good dark eye, giving the most super expression. Strong neck in to well set shoulders, stands on straight well boned legs. Short back, ribs correct for his age and enough depth. Hindquarters developing well with correct bend of stifle and hocks well let down. A super dog with a bright further ahead of him I predict.

3rd Place Fayemm Treacle Tart with Winterwell (ai), Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer (Mrs L S Trow)

1st Place Sh Ch Erikachen Conaire at Tollisty JW ShCM ShCEx VW, Breed: Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling) (Miss H Strevens)

An old favourite of mine who has done well under me before and today he brought his A game. Classic head piece of correct shape and definition, lovely dark eye. Strong through the neck which led on to a super angulated front, shoulders well set and standing on good legs and neat feet. Good depth to the body, ribs well sprung and loin muscular. Level in top line. Quarters well-made and muscled, stifles well bent. Very impressive action in profile and fore and aft. Correct tail carriage on the move. Coat good.

2nd Place Bowdonia Only The Brave for Cerysan, Breed: Spaniel (Welsh Springer) (Mrs Ap & Mrs M Caldwell & Mcdowell)

Another that I see has done well under me before, and it was pleasing to see him here as a veteran. He has a lovely head on him, balanced and without exaggeration, enhanced by a good eye shape. Strong neck leading into well-placed shoulders, good depth to him and ribs well sprung. Strong quarters which were well muscled. Good on the move with a clean action.

3rd Place Kitado Born A Warrior, Breed: Akita (Mr & Mrs Rayner)
