1. Murray & Fawkes CH ANTRELLEDA SQUADRON LEADER

Round dark eye and neat ears. Deep stop with correct length of muzzle. Good strong spring of rib. Well laid shoulders. One of the best movers today, with level topline on the move and stacked. Expertly handled. BEST VETERAN IN BREED.

Another 7 year old boy. Red with white chest. Unlucky to meet one. He demanded a second look in this class. He was shown in fit and hard condition. Good head shape. Dark eyes. Correct under jaw. Used his neat ears to give a pleasing expression. Strong hindquarters that propelled him up and down the ring.

3. Thompson’s ALPORT HALLO MAN

8 year old black/brindle and white with typical expression. Dark eye. Good length of muzzle. Good spring of rib. Moved well.

Smallest and neatest ears I have seen for ages. Dark piercing eyes. Strong underjaw. Correct level topline which he kept on the move and stacked. He moved with power and drive up on his tight feet all the time. Full of spirit. Couldn’t resist awarding him the RCC. Should in my book attain top honours. Good Luck.

Wow, what a class. Wish I had two sets of prize cards to award.

1. Arntzen & Manito CH CATSTAFFS USED TO (ATC AX00779NOR)

Couldn’t keep my eyes off this dog from the moment he entered the ring. Just oozes quality. Good strength, size, shape and balance to his head. Muzzle to skull ratio spot on. No exaggeration to his head at all. Clean in foreface. Dark round well set eyes and neat ears. Powerful neck and shoulders that flow into a straight well boned front. Good depth of brisket and ample rib. Good bend of stifle. He had a level topline both standing and on the move. Handled expertly and in great condition to win CC and BOB on my co-judge’s agreement.

2.McConnellogue CH LONEMOOR POLARA

Another quality black brindle who commanded a second look. Top quality. Deserves his title. Strong head with round dark eyes. Neat ears and powerful jaw. Straight well boned front with neat well padded feet. Short coupled. Strong back end. Moved freely. Handled well. Very close decision between these two. I am sure if I judged them another day I could change my mind. In the challenge for RCC I just felt he lacked sparkle.

3. Desmond’s CH ELITEBULL CHALLENGER JW

What can I say that hasn’t been said about this dog before. A very worthy champion and breed ambassador. Has a cracking head and expression. Neatest of ears and dark eye. Moved well. Presented in excellent condition. Had to settle for 3rd place after his son. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to judge him again.
