Puppy Dog (1)

1st Tibbs’ Bravadogue Abracadabra With Zeleski – 6 mth and what a gorgeous boy he is, smashing temperament who took the whole day in his stride. Such lovely bone and substance, with plenty of growth still evident. Lots to like about his head and this will only get better, broad in skull, ears of correct shape and size, carried well, pronounced stop, strong jaw with a nice upward curve and a well-defined chin. His eyes are correct in shape and colour, not showing any haw. Really liked his overall shape. He has a good length of neck and blends into his well laid shoulder. Good spring of rib and depth of chest. Croup has a moderate slope where his tail set blends well. Hindquarters are broad with developing muscle, nicely angled stifle. Down on his pasterns at the moment, but stood on strong hocks. Soundness was seen in all direction where he also retained a lovely shape in profile. Well-deserved Res. Best Dog and BPIB, where he put on an excellent performance in the group. Looking forward to seeing him mature.

1st Ansell’s Justlazare Darknight Rises 2 ½ yr solid male rich in colour. Presented in tip top condition he fits the breed characteristics; powerful, stocky, athletic and imposing, so solid and muscular throughout a delight to go over. Head of correct proportions, broad skull, well placed ears, pronounced stop, distinct median groove with correct wrinkle without being overdone, muscular pronounced cheek, well defined chin and broad powerful jaw. His head is enhanced by a beautiful full black mask and nose. Neck strong and broad blending onto a good front. Broad chest and correct spring of rib, a little more depth in chest would complete the picture, broad in back onto a muscular sold hindquarter where his excellent muscle tone is evident. Hocks are strong as would be expected. Stands straight in front but would prefer feet to be a little better. Movement was so sound and free, showing a lovely extension in front, he holds his shape well. A lovely Male who thoroughly deserved Best Dog and Best of Breed, he did the breed proud in the group putting on a lovely performance.

1st Ansell’s Justlazare Rocknrolla 2 ½ year bitch of good size. Well balanced throughout with moderate angulation. She has a nice head of good proportions, eye of correct shape, size and colour not showing any haw, she was over panting and didn’t show her head off to its’ true potential. Stood straight in front, with strong hocks. Correct length of neck, strength in top line onto a good croup and tail set. Nice spring of rib, she would benefit from losing a few pounds, but muscle tone could be still seen. She moved sound in all directions using all that she had. Res. Best Bitch.

Open Bitch (2)

1st Strong’s Cerisier Supreme Of Strongbeaux JW Medium sized bitch of 20mths, so much to like about this girl. She has a smashing head piece proportions are all there, broad skull enhanced by a correct ear set and carriage, pronounced stop with distinct median groove and symmetrical wrinkle without being overdone, broad jaw with a defined chin, oval eyes of correct shape which draw you in to her overall expression. Muscular neck, well laid shoulder, broad chest, stood straight in front, correct spring of rib, strong top line, moderate croup with a good set of tail. Well angulated hind quarters and well developed second thigh, strong hocks. Her feet are fabulous, tight toes, nails strong and curved with deep pads she is well up on her toes. The condition of this girl is fantastic, so toned throughout, her body weight was typical of a fit dog of her age, she still needs some more body, she will gain this over the coming months, I look forward to seeing her when this happens. 2nd Ansell’s Justlazare’s In Your Honour 7 year substantial bitch, love her type. I judged this girl when she was in her prime. Carrying a few too many pounds today, however underneath she is a well put together girl. She has an impressive head and expression, with a lovely broad skull and jaw, lovely clear eyes for her age, this is due to not being too heavy in head as she displays just the right amount of wrinkle. Broad neck which meets up with a well laid shoulder, broad and depth of chest correct, and a nice spring of rib. Correct croup and tail set and hind quarters in keep with her front. Her feet need some attention as nails are too long which spoil her finish, this was also noticeable on the move, which lost her the res. Best Bitch
