1st - Edwards’ Afterglow Bang Tidy. BOB.

3 year old black male. Lovely head, rounded skull, well defined brows, deep muzzle. Good bone, round feet, deep brisket, firm topline with slight slope from withers to tail, wide, strong hind quarters with excellent angulation. Active on the move with true stride, straight coming and going, showed rear pads as he went away, handled very well.

1st – Stone’s Stedigan All In Good Time for Merrem RL 1ex, ShCM – Welsh Springer Spaniel.

Won here on movement, powered round the ring with true footfall, was straight coming and going. Balanced outline, excellent angulation fore and aft. Well shaped head, neat ears well set on, kind expression, showed a desire to please handler. Shoulders nicely laid back, straight front, good bone, strong quarters. Beautifully presented coat, well handled.

2nd – Newson’s Sh Ch Tivalake More Than Wishes - Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Well made feminine bitch with a balanced outline. Attractive breed typical head, slightly wedge shaped, flat cheeks, moderate stop, alert expression, watched her handler the whole time. Clean and muscular neck, well laid shoulders, deep brisket, short back, good spring of rib. Hind angulation has equal merit to the fore, moved well, wagged and was happy, very well handled, made a smart team.

3rd – Burgess’ Gunalt Rock Out with Hantzburg ShCM, RI 1, P-Begex, Vw – Weimaraner.

1st – Lightfoot’s Gaesten Just Jago at Joydon – Lagotto Romagnolo. BVIS.

11 year old brown roan dog with thickly curled coat, well presented and handled. Skull moderately broad, strong muzzle which was shorter than length of skull, brown eyes. Muscular neck which was proportionate in length, long shoulder blade and upper arm of equal length, straight front, round feet. Strong body, short loin, well made hindquarters which were straight from the rear, in hard condition, active mover.

2nd – O’Neill’s Viva Las Vegas JW - Pointer.

11 year old orange and white bitch. Attractive head with balanced properties, kind expression, slightly dished foreface, deep muzzle. Clean neck well set into lovely slope of shoulder, ideal spring to ribcage with ribs reaching well back, strong loin, tidy tailset. Impressive hind quarters with hocks close to the ground. Straight legs front and back, oval bone and oval feet, well muscled throughout, powerful and free flowing movement.

3rd – Stone’s Stedigan Pipers Piping for Merrem RL1, ShCM - Welsh Springer Spaniel.

1st – Coppin & Davies-Jones’ Dallandor Jocaster - Chesapeake Bay Retriever

Nicely balanced mature bitch presenting a pleasing outline, and oozing breed type. Attractive head, skull and muzzle of equal length, obvious stop. Deep through brisket, strong chest, well sprung ribs, muscular loin. Straight legs both front and back, good bend of stifle. Expertly handled and very well presented.

2nd – Swietalski’s Fred Siop Ganol into Bowswizzlwer - Sussex Spaniel.

Male of strong appearance, I liked his proportions of length to height. Had a good show ring attitude, wagged his tail and was active on the move. Expressive eyes under obvious brows, strong muzzle, well developed nostrils. Ideal layback of shoulder, well boned legs fore and aft, round feet. Strong body with deep chest and deep ribs. Attractive coat, sympathetically handled to bring out his best, moved well.

3rd – Nightingale’s Flyenpyg Snazzy Sniffer – Labrador.

1st – Clunie’s Warrentor Bold As Brass – Golden Retriever.

11 months old, promising head with dark pigment. Mid gold very well presented coat which was gleaming with cleanliness. Straight front, strong, upright front pasterns, round, cat-like feet, Impressive ribcage, ribs reaching well back, short, strong loin, very good turn of stifle and well muscled width across second thigh. Showed well for his quiet and calm handler, wagged his tail and had quite an exuberant ring presence today.

1st – Longhurst’s Hurstmeon Bit Of A Pickle – Labrador. Best AV Gundog Good Citizen In Show.

Chocolate coloured bitch who has positive movement, good reach in front and excellent drive from behind, she just flowed round the ring with effortless style and purpose. Loved her head, classic planes, endearing expression, muzzle wide and deep. Good length of neck, straight legs front and back, deep chest, impressive spring of ribs with plenty of depth, broad, strong hind quarters. She had a definite will to please, and was sympathetically handled, together they made a great team.

2nd – Nightingale’s Flenpyg Snazzy Sniffer – Labrador.

Black bitch, coat gleaming with good health and condition. Neat and tidy appearance, compact, appealing, balanced outline. Feminine head, kind eye with intelligent expression. Straight front, barrel ribs, short couplings, good bend of stifle, wide second thigh. Free stride, straight and true, well schooled, at one with sympathetic handler, was happy and wagged her tail.

3rd – Gasher’s Marquell Torshca Bang On – Sussex Spaniel.
