Beautiful typy lad with correct mouth, eye and ear, lovely head furnishings garnishing an excellent expression, strong neck into an excellent front assembly standing on tight feet. Good harsh jacket clinging tightly to a cobby strong body and effective rear quarters with a strong tail which was set on just right to give a beautiful ballanced outline. Moved very well in all directions and never failed to stand squarely, a good showman who was complimented by excellent handling BOB and Group 4 in exceptional competition.

6 month old gorgeous baby girl of impeccable type, quality and appeal. Correct mouth, strong teeth, dark intelligent eye of correct shape. Neat ear framing a well proportioned head. Beautiful balance of outline from this cobby girl with a strong neck used to advantage. Well laid shoulder, good bone and feet and well ribbed up for her age. Strong effective rear, she led her handler around the ring like she was the teacher. Moved well in all direcrtions and always resting squarely. She pushed so very hard for BOB just giving way to maturity. BP-RBOB and Best Puppy Terrier Group

9 month old baby girl again of lovely type. Correct in mouth, eye, ear and expression. Well ballanced cobby outline, standing squarely at all times. Moved well in all directions and handled very well. She just did not have the awesome ring presence of her younger stablemate in the line up for BP

2ND –WATERCROFT HOT AIR

A pleasing young lady who is a little plainer in expression than 1 and not as settled in motion

18 month old lad who is correct in mouth with strong teeth, dark eye of correct shape and neat ear, correct expression. strong neck, good forehand, correct bone and feet. A cobby strong body, excellent topline to a nice strong correctly set tail. Good driving action and sound when viewed from all angles. All wrapped up in a good harsh jacket and ready for work. He was pressured a lot by the puppy for BOB which is no reflection on him lacking anything at all, he just had the edge on maturity today. BOB and Terrier Group 3rd

Absolutely gorgeous lad of lovely quality all through. Correct mouth, eye and ear a well shaped fine head and good pigment. He does have a nice reach of neck but it was difficult to appreciate it in this sweltering heat as he gave his young handler a very hard time, insisting on dropping his head low throughout. He is at the top end of the scale for height, but very balanced when he does get it together to make that customary outline. His quality cannot be denied,

Correct in mouth, fine head, small bright eyes of correct shape, lovely fine ears flat to the cheek. reachy neck leading to good shoulder and a good depth of rib down to the elbow, decent bone & good muscle tone, made a natural ‘V’ in front whilst stationary. coat of good colour & texture, correct tail carriage, moved with a spring in her step holding her topline. Handled to great advantage and co-operating fully the entire time, her lovely balance of outline could not be denied. BOB and Reserve Best Terrier in Group

Nicely ballanced SCW with correct mouth, eye and ear, square muzzle and strong brow. Moderate reach of neck into a well laid back shoulder. Nice moderate width of chest, straight front and strong level topline. Well developed rear quarters used to great effect on the move, holding her shape nicely and topped by a high set tail.

Gorgeous baby FT Smooth who has everything in the right place and in the right proportion to reach the top. Correct in mouth, eye, ear and head proportions, amazing expression. Clean muscular neck of fair reach into a good shoulder. Straight front of decent bone on excellent feet. Presented and moved in tip top form BPNSC and Reserve Best Terrier Puppy

2 year old lad who is real typy, nice head proportions, correct in mouth, eye and ear, well maintained jacket with decent furnishings and a good expression. Decent spring of rib, good loin length and correct arch. Moved and handled very well to head this quality class, not quite as clean in action in later challenges, which may have been due to the heat.

2ND- JACKOPEAKS BAKEWELL PUDDIN (JRT)

well ballanced typy lass who is correct in mouth, eye and ear, lovely head and expression, a good neck, front and body proportions. Well ribbed up but not overdone, strong rear quarters, moved ok and handled very well.

1ST –BOROVALE NAMERI (SMOOTH FOX TERR)

This quality lass captured my attention the second she entered the ring and did not dissappoint on closer inspection. Lovely feminine head, super stink eye expression. Mouth, eye and ear bang on. Fairly reachy, muscular clean neck to a good layback of shoulder, correct round bone and nice feet. Level back, nice bend of stifle and hocks low set. Correct tail placement, moved very soundly in all directions and standing proudly square at all times. She simply did not put a foot wrong, she is just so well put together. A truly super SFT who will stay in my memory. B-NSC, Terrier Group winner without hesitation despite the wonderful depth of quality around her.

2ND –LOCHEIL STOP RIGHT THERE (JRT)

nice overall balance & size, good head with good skull & ear set, strong jaw correct mouth, lovely eye & expression, strong neck, good angles front and rear, nice width on front, good ribbing, holding his topline in stance and on the move, good rear quarters with nice turn of stifle, moved well when viewed from any direction, sad to meet 1 on top form.

3RD –FLAXELA MY SECRET LOVE AT SUMIRICK (SOFT COATED WHEATEN)

It was an absolute privilage to lay hands on dogs of such high quality in this group today. I could have easily given red cards to the majority of dogs entered on a different day because quality is evident right down the class placements. My gratitude to all for presenting me with such amazing exhibits. I definately need to spend more time amongst the Terrier group to rejouvenate my faith!

1ST- BOROVALE NAMERI (SFT) –She just owned the ground she strutted on from the moment she entered the ring. In excellent company, her quality just could not be denied, she demanded no less than top honour.

RESERVE TERRIER GROUP – MAEVANI BELLA TRIX LSTRANGE (Bedlington) – Another who oozed quality and showed her heart out, immaculate outline and excellent footfall, sad to meet 1st on top form

3RD –WATERCROFT BOOZY MILLER (NORFOLK) – He really got his show game on for the group, lovely outline and gave his absolute all.

4TH –BRACKENFELL ROCK THE BOAT FOR VANDAMERE JW ShCEx (BORDER) – Yet another out of the top drawer, showing his heart out, sharing his excellent type and soundness with everyone ringside

1ST- WATERCROFT EARLY BIRD (NORFOLK)

She is like a playfull little wind up toy, never stops showing for a moment, loves every moment of it and has no idea she is working that ring at all. Her balance of outline, natural square stance and happy happy wagging tail simply steals your attention and does not release it. Kudos to her amazing handler for convincing her it is all a fun game.

Another absolute cracker. Showed her immaculate outline and soundness like a seasoned veteran.

almost 10 year old and has kept her youthful appeal for sure. Correct in mouth, eye and ear, a lovely head and neck, good front, immaculate outline to nice rear quarters. Moved very well in all directions and showed like she was there for the top spot the whole time. A credit to her owners

2ND –JACKOPEAKS PRINCESS PEACH VW (JRT)

12 years and in such fit, muscular condition. Looks a proper working dog all through, typy head, correct mouth, eye and ear straight front, strong topline, moved well in all directions and a real credit to her owners.

3RD – LYNTONLEPRAZ DARBELLO LAD ShCM (SOFT COATED WHEATEN)

very well presented with a gleaming coat. Nice head proportions, correct all through. Nice neck, front and rear assembly, good topline with nice tailset and carriage. Moved soundly

Very appealling youngster with correct head proportions dark eye of good shape, neat well set on ear, strong crested neck into a good shoulder assembly, excellent bone, correct width of front on tightest of feet, correct spring of rib, good topline leading back to powerful rear quarters and tail set on well. Moved well viewed from any angle and would have kept it up indefinately despite the almost unbearable heat, such was his eagerness to please. A really nice balance of outline Topped his mother for BOB scoring higher in expression.

1ST – LIONSCOURT KING KAHEKILI (LEONBERGER)

20 month large upstanding lad of quality. Correct bite and dentition, mask well defined, mid eye of correct shape, good thick ear leather set on and carried well. Nice high wither and strong topline. Needing a little more time to complete developing in front, which I would not doubt will happen in such a well grown lad. Strong rear with correct drive, nice tail set, he can be a bit proud of it in motion at times, but not constantly. This youngster should continue to impress with maturity as everything is certainly in place for a bright future.

2ND – SUPER TEDDY AT ATLANTICANE (DDB)

almost 8 month old baby boy who is developing very nicely. Broad head of sufficient circumferance and correct proportions. Strong jaw with decent upsweep, good eye shape size, set and colour, ears are set on well. He moved soundly coming, going and in profile. Good balance of outline for one so young

3RD – JAME’S ROCCO (BOXER)

Liked his general shape, nice head proportions correct mouth, eye and ear, with nice short strong neck, good rib and loin balance, he is just off square in outline. Chest is nicely developed. Moderate angulation. Moved well from all angles, sympathetically handled and he gave his all.

1ST – GUNNERSNEWFS BLACK DESIRE FOR BLACKCOAST (NEWF) –

Well balanced Newfoundland with an appealing head. Correct in mouth, head proportions and eye shape set and colour, thick ear. Possibly a slightly tighter jowl would make it perfect. He has a strong neck into a lovely front assembly of correct width, propped up by excellent bone and good feet. Correct spring of rib, clean over the wither with a strong topline. Well muscled rear quarters and correct tailset and carriage. Presented in glowing coat, he moved very well in all directions and stood himself squarely at all times. He has incredible ring presence. I was really pleased to see him later awarded BIS

RESERVE - CH PRIMUS GREAT GATSBY JW (DANE)

Smart fawn Dane who has such a lovely balanced outline. Excellent head proportions, correct in mouth, eye and ear. Strong arched neck into a well placed shoulder assembly, correct width of front, strong flat bone and well knuckled feet. Handled very well and moved soundly from all angles.

3RD- ROTTAMORES SCHWARZENEGGER (ROTT)

This youngster didn’t quit showing from the moment he entered the ring, beautiful type, balance and oh so sound

He picked his game up somewhat here, presenting a lovely balanced outline and moving so well.

see above for breed specific notes. Performed so well for his handler, did not put a foot wrong and was as so fresh for his third time back in the ring today, he simply demanded this.

8 month baby girl, correct in mouth, eye and ear in a feminine head which is maturing nicely. Ok in front, level topline and nice rear angulation, correct tailset and carriage, presented well and moved sound enough.

despite the heat, he showed really well again, appealing balance of outline for one so young.

She almost dared me not to give her a very strongly contested Utility Group. BOB & Utility Group winner.

Lovely balance of outline on this gorgeous puppy girl, strength with femininity. She has excellent head planes, correct in mouth, eye and ear. Strong clean neck to excellent front assembly, strong topline and cobby body to a correctly set tail, rear angulation is spot on, she moved so well in all directions, and is presented in a good harsh jacket, just needing maturity to one day defeat her mother, nothing to change about her at all. Correct angles at the rear and moved really well in all directions and had a lovely ballanced outline and she came to rest squarely every time. She got a little lazy with her front in the group and paid the price, it was a very long and hot day. BOB

mature lad with obvious masculine appeal, good head planes, correct in eye and ear and well furnished. Strong arched clean neck into good front assembly, strong topline to good tailset, good angles all through, moved well but not the squareness in natural stance of 1.

Lovely broad head on this baby girl, good eye placement, nice upsweep of jaw, lips level. Ears set on well. arched neck into well laid, firm shoulder, ample bone, broad chest. Level topline of correct proportion. Well developed thigh crown with correctly set tail complimenting the head. Moved well in all directions BP

Gorgeous bl/wh girl with beautiful broad headpiece, excellent mouth, well placed eyes and ears framing a gorgeous expression. Strong crested neck into a well laid shoulder on good bone, broad chest, firm shoulder to a strong level topline and very well developed rear quarters which were used to great effect. Crowned with a high set tail carried just right to balance the outline with head height. Moved very well from all angles. She pushed Open dog so very hard for BOB but his incredibly hard muscular condition could not be matched underhand.

2ND –MAPIMAKASTAR ALBERT

pleasing lad with melting eyes and lovely coat, a little heavy over the shoulder and not the expression of 1 with broken pigment on his muzzle distracting somewhat

Another out of the top drawer for headpiece, excellent mouth, well placed expressive eye. Ears set on just right to frame his broad head, strong arched neck into a firm shoulder which was well laid back, excellent bone and broad front, nice spring of rib, level topline of correct length and incredibly muscular rear quarters used to great effect, he was in incredibly hard condition and it showed on the move with powerful drive off the rear and in profile he appeared to float effortlessly. High set well carried tail balancing the head to give a beautiful outline, pushed very hard by limit winner, but his condition underhand just couldnt be matched for me. BOB

Black/tan correct mouth, head rather plain and not the balance of outline of 1. nice high set tail and carried well, moved okay.

black, good head proportions, correct in bite and pigment. Clean eye, neat ear, nice outline and moved well in all directions.

Correct in mouth, eye, ear with good expression. Strong neck into clean well laid shoulder, good topline held in motion. Bang on for angulation all round which was evident in her action, it was a pleasure to watch her in motion. Well handled.

3RD – KEKEMARA JANE EYRE (STANDARD POODLE)

Nice feminine head correct in mouth and eye. Nice neck, into a good front assembly, with short back and decent tailset, good angulation all through and nice feet. Presenting a nice balance of outline when stood and on the move. Well handled.

4TH –SUSU PRINCE CHARMING (TIB SPAN)

Nice head proportions, correct in mouth, lovely oval eyes and good use of ears. Correct length to neck leading to well laid shoulders, good front. Level topline, tail set high and carried well both on the move and standing. Moved well in all directions, well handled

1ST SHIKASHINO BLACK ROXS AT JARSHIMAR (SHIBA)

8 year old with an appealling head, correct in mouth, eye and ear, plump cheek. Correct neck and shoulder, good topline and tailset, moved well in all directions and having a blast of a day showing off.

Another gorgeous, dignified gent who did not disappoint underhand. Correct in head planes, mouth, eye and ear. Good furnishings. Moved okay in all directions.
