Puppy Dog (7 Entries, 0 Absent)

1st Nevers’ Tollelkin Dream Cove at Sheldrake – A lovely 9 month puppy who is right for his age in development. Wedge shaped head with almond shaped eyes and medium ears set high. Muscular neck into laid back shoulders with good return of upper arm. Straight legs on tight feet. Level topline to good rear angulation. Moved perfectly, showing reach and drive with a jaunty action. A lovely pup well deserving of best puppy in breed and look forward to seeing him fully mature.
2nd Fielder’s Cretshengan Torran Loch (AI) – 11 months and broader in skull than I would prefer and has a round eye. High set triangular ears and tapered muzzle. Balanced in his angulation which gave him clean movement. Standing on round, tight feet and lovely body shape and proportions.

Yearling Dog (4 Entries, 0 Absent)

1st Limerick & O'Sullivan’s Riverwatcher Paluktak – Larger male & heavier in type but remains balanced throughout. Almond shaped eyes set well apart and ears set high and well back on skull. Good angulation front and rear and moved well in profile to win the class
2nd Savory’s Katimba Panti Rippa – A finer dog and would like a bit more of him, but he is balanced. Carried a strong level topline and moved OK but had a tendency to skip.

Res Savory’s Katimba Mojito

Graduate Dog (5 Entries, 1 Absent)

1st Palfrey’s Eusanit Wild Atlantic Way - Only 22 months he is still very immature and needs to body up, but he still has time. He has a lovely shape and outline to him. Wedge shaped head and muzzle tapers to nose. Almond eyes set well apart and high set ears, using them well. Moved OK once settled
2nd Chapman’s Katimba Trebbiano at Dkai – This dark red dog is deceiving. Fully mature and has a lovely wedge to his head with almond shaped eyes and correct ear set. He moved well in profile showing reach and drive but tended to lose his topline on the stand at times.

Res Fincham’s Danehaven Ralph

Post Graduate Dog (8 Entries, 1 Absent)

1st Sim’s Stellenbosch Krilencu – A typey dog of good bone and size. Broad skull and correct taper to the muzzle. Good eye and ear giving a melting expression. Strong level topline with tight, round feet. Moved well and lovely tail carriage.
2nd Anstead’s Riverwatcher Kila – I love this dog for shape, size, type and movement, just a shame about his one fault. Lovely body and well made. He out moved everything in this class and I couldn’t deny him a high place in this class.

Open Dog (13 Entries, 2 Absent)

A lovely class full of quality and many good dogs went unplaced. A very nice class which shows how far the breed has come since the early days.
1st Barker’s Sh Ch Eusanit Silvr Dream Machine – This dog just ticks all the boxes for me. Fully mature and today shown in good coat and condition were the icing on the cake to happily award him Best Dog and Best of Breed. Correct for type and size, everything in proportion. Broad head with the correct taper to the muzzle and wedge in the skull. Almond eyes set well apart and triangular ears set high and well back on the skull. Straight bone when viewed from the front and tight, round feet, with good laid back of shoulder and return of upper arm. Topline held strong and short through the back. Tail set on with slight slope to the croup and a lovely curve over when alert and moving. Stifles are well bent showing good angulation to match the front, he owned the ring on the move giving the impression of power, springy, jaunty movement.
2nd Fielder’s Schindow Junior Cowboy with Cretshengan – Another typey dog in body and his movement is faultless. He doesn’t have as much in the head for me but his build, balance and angulation makes him a worthy winner. Please to award him reserve best dog.

Lovely front and rear angulation, she is well balanced throughout with good bone. Good strong topline and tail set slightly sloping on the croup. Moved OK but a little erratic in the front today.
2nd Hampson’s Schindow Wired For Sound – Smaller bitch and at 7 months still has lots of maturing to do as still look tubular through the body. Sweet head and ears set very high. Round, tight feet and moved ok.
3rd Wallwork’s Schindow Please Don't Tease

Junior Bitch (8 Entries, 0 Absent)

1st Anstead’s Riverwatcher Koda – A lovely typey bitch with straight front to give parallel movement when coming towards. Balanced body with strong topline carried level, deep chest and well sprung ribs. Broad across the skull with desired wedge and muzzle tapers to nose. Almond eyes and triangular ears set high and showing alert expression. She moved well and true once settled with her runner, in following class and challenge she was moved by her owner and was even better, well deserving of best bitch and reserve best of breed.
2nd Hipkiss ’s Afonbach First Sign O' Spring at Deltandamba – Lovely bitch who today was a little overweight. Rounded across the skull and not using her ears today which was a shame. Lovely body with deep chest and well sprung ribs. Not as clear in her rear movement as my winner.

Post Graduate Bitch (8 Entries, 0 Absent)

1st Hughes’ Eusanit Gem Stone at Abacot – Shorter cast than I would like ideally but still longer than tall and keeps a strong, level topline. Lovely head, very feminine and correct eye and ears of medium size triangular shaped and set high. Nicely made and balanced for & aft with good body. Stands well and moves true, a well deserving class win and reserve best bitch
2nd West’s Raynechaser Luna Eclipse – Longer cast bitch and would prefer a little less length in her for ideal. Head OK and good skull, a little blunt in muzzle. However, she is well balanced with good angulation fore & aft and moved well with each and drive once settled and parallel movement in when going away and coming towards.
