East Of England Ladies Kennel Society

Thank you for inviting me to judge Dachshunds, and for all the exhibitors who braved the wind to attend! A lovely day and some very exciting dogs to judge. The wind seemed to put a few exhibits off when the tape started flapping around, but majority of dogs coped well following covid restrictions not being out much.
Thanks to my two stewards who coped well in the wind with everything blowing off the table.

Dachshund (Mini Long)
Puppy - 0

Junior - 1 /1
1) Mrs J L Pitfield - Follyfield Fortissimo. Chocolate/Tan dog. Moderate dog with good ground clearance. Good forward extension. Presented well. Nice expression with dark pigment. Would like to see him with more weight on.

Post Grad 1/1
1) M Siggee - Ensigynes Fantasio. Cream Brindle Bitch. Lovely expression with dark pigment. Correct rear drive with moderate angles. Would like a little more leg length to giver her more ground clearance. - RBOB

Correct size, dark pigment, good length of neck into correct lay of shoulder. Straight front, with strong breast bone. Good length of ribbing. Sufficient ground clearance. Full rump, with moderate rear angulation. Tight feet. Correctly set tail. BP & BOB.
