Flatcoated Retrievers

I'd like to thank the committee for my invitation and my stewards for smooth running of the ring. It was lovely to judge for you, the venue was and the atmosphere was brilliant and I really appreciated the outdoor ring. I was absolutely thrilled with my entry of such quality exhibits, it made my day very exciting.

What a cracking class of youngsters with so much to like. 

Simon's COEDYLAN BAMBINO CARO 

10 month old, balanced bitch. She has a beautiful, feminine head with dark eye and this flatcoat cheeky expression. Correct front with good return of upper arm. Just the right amount of bone. Good spring of ribs and short square loin. Level topline, strong hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle and good width of second thigh. Correct tailset, she moved with drive, free and flowing.

More than happy to award her BP.

Jones' BRAEMIST WITCHES FIRE

9 month old bitch. Just loved her one piece head, so classical. Dark almond shaped eye with naughty expression. She has the correct return of upper arm, deep chest , long ribs moving to short loin. Moderate bend of stifle with good length pastern from hock to the floor. Her movement was efficient and she covered the ground with ease. I just preferred the overall type of 1.

May's RONEVORG DARK ANGEL AT LUSSAC

This young boy has a masculine head, dark eye with a kind expression. Her head is filled in. Strong neck . Correct length of upper arm, deep chest with plenty of heart room. Level topline with lovely tailset which he carried on the move. Moderate bend of stifle, stood four square. Effortlessly covered the ground.

Hollingdale's JETSTARKI IF I CAN DREAM

Up to size bitch. She has one piece head with naughty expression. She has a deep chest, would prefer a shorter loin. She has a correct tailset and strong hindquarters. Preferred more accurate movement of the 1.

Moxey's LUSSAC XPRESS YOURSELF AT DYMEXE (AI)

This girl caught my eye as soon as she walked in the ring. Just my type. Feminine head with dark eye, intelligent and kind expression. The right length of upper arm, deep chest, lovely tight feet. Her loin is short and square with moderate bend of stifle, correct length from hock to floor. Level topline. Moved with reach and drive after moving her again as she didn't like the dip in the ground. Delighted to award her BOB.

Bearne's TIKKIDUI BYAN DELEN 

Feminine head with small well set ears. Good reach of neck and correct oval shaped bone. She has good spring of ribs and she moved with drive. She gained confidence with time. I preferred the overall type of 1.

Jones' CAEHAIDD LETS GO CRAZY WITH BRAEMIST JW

Correct size bitch, well filled one piece head with kind expression. Good reach of neck with moderate return of upper arm. Quality bone, deep chest with plenty of heart room. She's well muscled and uses that to her advantage when she moves round the ring with drive. 

Simon's RAINESGIFT ROYAL MINT I COEDYLAN JW

Slightly taller bitch. Very happy and naughty attitude. She has feminine head with dark eye. I would prefer longer upper arm. Her topline is level, she has strong hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle. She gave her handler a bit of hard time but moved with drive once settled.

May's LUSSAC WINTER WITCH JW

This bitch shows quality throughout. She has a classic one piece head with a cheeky and kind expression. Good bone. Her neck is of correct length, well filled chest with plenty of room. She is well muscled, her hindquarters are moderately angulated with pasterns well laid from hock to floor. She moved with drive covering ground with ease and ever wagging tail. Well deserved RBOB.

Ford's PERCUIL DASHER 

He has masculine head, dark almond shaped eye. Good reach of neck, good tight feet. He has enough length from the ribs , level topline which he carried on the move. I would prefer a more bend of stifle and width in thighs.
