I would like to thank the committee of Sheringham & District KA for the invitation to judge, it was a well-run show and the weather just about held out, I enjoyed myself very much and had some quality exhibits to go over. Thanks to the exhibitors that entered under me, it was a large entry and thank you for waiting, I hope you all had a good day.

Boxer

1st. Mrs. L D Ames, Marbleview Phantom menace at Thenamy.

A 4-year-old red/brindle male, masculine throughout, head of masculine proportions, dark eyes and correct muzzle length. Nicely angulated front and rear quarters, long strong neck, topline correct, deep brisket, ribs carried well back and the correct tail set. He moved with reach and drive RBOB.

1st. Ms. S Peck, Manic keep it real for Enesha.

A 5-year-old red/brindle/white male, Head of the correct proportions, dark eyes, correct length of muzzle, strong neck, plenty of fore chest, deep brisket, ribs carried well back, strong rear quarters. Correct feet and tail carriage, he moved steadily around the ring showing reach and drive BOB.

2nd. Miss T C Gibb, Conchobar Sirris of the sun Miniwonder.

A 3-year-old red/brindle and white bitch, a little unsettled on the day and difficult to assess, feminine of the correct proportions, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, deep brisket and correct topline, correct feet, movement a little erratic.

A 5-year-old male, masculine proportions throughout, large head, dark eyes, correct bite and dentition, strong muscular neck, level back, deep brisket and ribcage carried well back with a strong loin. Powerful rear quarters, with hocks well let down, he moved powerfully with reach and drive in profile BOB.

An 18-month-old male, Head and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, strong neck, erect ears, correct fore chest, deep chest and well sprung ribcage, correct feet and short strong pasterns. Tail set on correctly, correct bend of stifle, coat in good condition of the correct texture, he moved true coming and going BOB.

A 10-month-old male, plenty of well distributed spots, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes, a little naughty on the day and I thought carrying too much weight. Deep brisket and a well sprung ribcage, level back and a good turn of stifle, movement could have been more settled BP.

A 19-month-old male, I would have preferred more evenly spaced spots, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite. Correct length of neck showing the correct arch, topline correct, nicely angulated rear quarters, and moved soundly with reach and drive RBOB.

A 3-year-old bitch, I would have preferred more evenly spaced spots, balanced and in proportion, feminine head, dark eyes and the correct bite. Elegant neck, correct topline, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage and ribs carried well back, strong loin, correct tail set and nicely angulated rear quarters. She moved soundly and with reach and drive BOB.

A 4-year-old ‘wolf grey’ male, showing a balanced outline and of the correct proportions, head and muzzle correct, dark eyes and the correct bite. Neck of the correct length, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, topline correct and a strong loin, correct feet and he moved soundly and steadily showing drive from behind. BOB.

A 12-month-old male, Masculine and substantial throughout, head typical, dark eyes and the correct bite, ears well set on, typical front, deep chest and well sprung ribcage. Strong rear quarters, hocks well let down. Moved soundly around the ring BOB.

2nd. Mrs. A Dunnett, Camea One in a Million.

A 12-month-old brindle bitch, a very pretty expression and feminine throughout, dark eyes, ears and bite correct, I would have preferred a little more size and substance. She moved soundly.

A 2-year-old fawn bitch, very feminine throughout, head of the correct proportions, ears well set on, dark eyas and the correct bite, strong neck, topline correct with a gentle rise over her loins, short strong loin, deep brisket and well sprung ribcage, she moved steadily albeit a little erratically.

A 2-year-old fawn bitch balanced and in proportion, lovely head, dark eye, and ears well set on, neck of the correct length, correct width across forechest, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage short strong loin, she was a little down on her front pasterns today. She moved steadily around the ring RBOB.

2nd. Mrs. N L Humphries, Crackatari Princess Ebony Mac JW.

A 3-year-old brindle bitch, lovely head, dark eyes and the correct bite, ears correct, front correct, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage, I thought that she was a little straight in stifle and high in the rear. She moved soundly with a lively action.

A 3-year-old bitch, very typical, being compact and short coupled, very feminine throughout, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, she has a well-developed ribcage, topline correct, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, correct tail carriage, she moved effortlessly and briskly around the ring BOB and 1st in YKC members stakes.

An 11-month-old, Cream/White male, very lively and full of character, when stood still he had a typical outline for the breed, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and a black nose, correct bite, coat in good condition and of the correct texture. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib. Level topline, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, when all feet on the ground he was sound and true, a promising puppy when he settles RBOB, BP.

2nd. Mr. C J & Mrs. L M Saich, Lindcoly Black is Black.

A 10-month-old black bitch showing a typical outline, feminine throughout, balanced and in proportion, coat in good condition and well presented. Dark pigment and the correct bite, level topline and short strong loin, she moved briskly and with a positive action.

A 10-month-old brown sable bitch, showing a typical outline, lovely expression, correct head, dark eyes and the correct bite. Level topline, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, correct tail carriage and she moved soundly and briskly around the ring.

2nd. Miss. A J Saich, Lindcoly make A wish.

A 20-month-old bitch, not in the best of coats today but very typical in outline, balanced and in proportion. She has a pretty and feminine head and expression, ears well set on, dark eyes and the correct bite. Everything in moderation with a level topline, correct tail carriage and she moved well coming and going and in profile around the ring.

A 20-month-old black/white bitch, very smart and feminine, lovely expression, dark eyes and the correct bite. Nicely angulated front and rear quarters, level topline, correct tail carriage, her movement was true coming and going and moved briskly around the ring.

A 6-year-old black bitch, showing a very typical outline, correct in every way, head and muzzle of the correct proportions and the correct bite. Coat in good condition and well presented, moderately angulated in the front and rear quarters, level topline. Tail carried correctly and she moved briskly and soundly around the ring, a well deserved best of breed BOB.

2nd. Miss. A J Saich, Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly.

A 10-year-old male, typical in outline, compact and short coupled, head of the correct proportions, ribcage well sprung and short loin, correct tail carriage, he belied his age when moving, a credit to his owner.

An 8-month-old bitch, showing a typical outline being well balanced and in proportion. Head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct dentition, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, level back, deep brisket, just the right amount of tuck up, tail carried correctly, and she moved soundly showing the right amount of reach and drive BP and 2nd in Utility Puppy Group.

A 2 ½ year old male, a very smart and typical example of the breed, masculine throughout, head correct and showing the classic blunt triangle, enough stop and a strong muzzle of the correct depth. A strong arched neck, shoulders well laid, a deep brisket and level back, bend of stifle just right and strong hocks, an overall impressive male, his movement was true coming and going and showed the right amount of reach and drive in profile, a well deserved BOB.

A 7-year-old bitch, typical in outline, balanced and in proportion, head correct, dark eyes, correct bite, strong neck, correct forequarters, deep chest, level back, correct tail carriage. I preferred the overall shape to the second placed exhibit, just the right amount of angulation front and rear and she moved well RBOB.

2nd. Mrs. J S & Mr. M J Parke, Kouenes Forever Wild.

A 7-year-old white/sable bitch, looked a little high on the leg and I would have preferred more depth, head of the correct proportions dark eye, correct ear set and bite. Nicely angulated front and rear quarters, level back, she movement was quick and energetic.

1st. Mr. K Slomkowski, Kentwone Derek Jewel by Skylax.

An 8-month-old male and he impressed me immediately with his overall shape being well balanced throughout, he was heavily coated, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition, well laid-back shoulders, maybe a little ‘bum up’ at the moment but this will correct itself as he grows. Tail set on correctly and he moved soundly, a very promising puppy BP and BP in utility puppy group.

A 20-month-old bitch, showing a balanced outline, plenty of coat in good condition and well presented, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, a strong arched neck and nicely angulated front and rear quarters, level topline, ribs carried well back and a strong loin, she moved freely with reach and drive RBOB.

2nd. Mrs. D K Chambers, Kutani Enigma.

Almost 2 years old a bitch showing a typical and balanced outline, shown in good coat and well presented, her head was of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct dentition. Lovely flowing neckline and a level topline, ribcage extending well back, strong rear quarters, she moved with a lively gait, I would just have preferred a little more substance.

3rd. Mr. G T & Mrs. A B Leaver Fengolas Diki Bowmore at Shogandale.

1st. Mrs. E Forsyth, Nadarley Quartz Hugo.

At almost 3 years old, a male and full of breed type, he was in great condition and presented well, coat was immaculate. Masculine head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition, strong well arched neck, level topline, deep chest and ribcage carried well back, strong loin, strong rear quarters that he used well when moving, a well-deserved BOB and 2nd in the Utility Group.

 

2nd. Mrs. Allsop, Vallena Oksanna.

A 2-year-old bitch, feminine throughout, in good coat and well presented, balanced and compact in outline, ears well set, dark eyes and the correct bite. Nicely angulated front and rear quarters, level topline, correct tail set, she moved well with a free stride.

A 13-month-old bitch, typical balanced outline, correct head and a pretty expression, neck well arched, level topline, ribcage extended well back, strong rear quarters and she moved well.

A 9-month-old, black/silver bitch, correct size and shape for the breed, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes, correct bite and ears, long arched neck, well laid shoulders, deep brisket and a well sprung ribcage, short strong loin, nicely angulated rear quarters and she moved soundly BP.

A 17-month-old pepper/salt male of excellent type balanced and in proportion, correct coat texture and presented well, head of the correct proportions, ears well set on, dark eyes, strong muzzle and the correct bite and dentition. Strong neck, correct lay of shoulder, deep chest and a well sprung ribcage, short strong loin, nicely angulated front and rear quarters. Tail set on correctly, he moved soundly showing reach and drive from behind, a good example of the breed and a well-deserved BOB.

A 2 year old black/silver, male, head typical with a strong muzzle and the correct bite, dark eyes and well set ears. Coat of the correct texture, level back, short loin, correct tail set, just the right amount of bend to his stifle and he moved soundly.

A 2 ½ year old pepper/salt male the sire of the best of breed and of similar quality, showing the correct balance and shape for the breed, lovely head, muzzle and the correct bite, dark eyes, neck as it should be with a slight arch, level back, deep chest, ribs well sprung and a short loin. Correct tail set and well carried, correct angulation to front and rear quarters, correct feet. He moved soundly showing reach and drive in profile RBOB.

A 3-year-old black bitch, Elegant and balanced outline, showing the correct proportions for the breed, head in proportion, dark eyes and the correct bite, long elegant neck, deep chest and well sprung ribcage, ribs carried well back. Short strong loin, correct tail set and nicely bent stifles, light on her feet showing reach and drive in profile BOB and 3rd in Utility group.

1st. Mr. S P & Mrs. J L Warnes, CH Myhaven Chocolate Fancy JW ShCM.

A 7 ½ year old brown male, balanced and typical outline for the breed, in great condition for his age and well presented, a dog that has obviously done a lot of winning in his time, which comes as no surprise. I liked him in every way and a credit to his breed he belied his age when he moved being sound and true showing reach and drive, from the same mother as my best of breed, I think I just preferred the youthfulness of the best of breed bitch RBOB and Best RBOB Utility.

A 9-month-old black bitch, typical outline, head long with just the right amount of stop, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition, shoulders well laid back, back and topline as it should be, deep brisket, well sprung ribcage and ribs carried well back. Nicely bent stifles hocks well let down, she moved freely with plenty of reach and drive, BP and 3rd in the Utility puppy group.

2nd. Mrs. B M Winnington, Fingolfin’s wild Flower.

A 6-month-old brown bitch, very unsettled on the day and difficult to assess, looking raw on the day, when settled she did move soundly, I am sure with time and training she will settle and gain confidence.

1st. Mrs. B M Winnington, Fingolfin’s Lone Warrior.

At almost 4 years old a male and he was presented beautifully, typical outline for the breed, balanced and in proportion, head long and fine with the correct amount of stop, dark eyes and the correct bite. Long strong neck, well laid shoulders and a deep brisket. Ribs well sprung, correct topline, well muscled rear quarters and just enough bend of stifle, he was a little unsettled on the move but was sound and true BOB.

2nd. Mrs. G Coates, Jaspalie Ghost.

A 2 year old white male, longer cast than the first placed dog, coat in good condition and well presented, more overall substance than 1 and showing a very masculine outline and prescence. Full of character, a dark eye and the correct bite, strong muzzle, long strong neck, topline correct, deep chest and a well sprung ribcage. Strong rear quarters and well bent stifles, he moved soundly with reach and drive RBOB.

A 3 ½ year old silver male, typical outline being balanced and in proportion, head of the correct shape, dark eyes and the correct bite. Elegant neck, correct topline, deep chest, well sprung ribs, nicely angulated front and rear quarters and moved freely with reach and drive BOB.

1st. Mr. & Mrs. Elmer, Semprepei Dream of Paradise.

A 6-month-old male at his first show and he impressed me immediately with his overall breed type, being balanced and in proportion and masculine throughout. Head of the correct proportions, a flat skull and a moderate stop, strong powerful muzzle and the correct bite. Strong neck of the correct length, broad deep chest, topline correct and a short loin, strong rear quarters, and low set hocks, he moved soundly around the ring, a feel he is a very promising puppy with a bright future, BOB and BP and 4th in the Utility puppy group.

A 3 year old bitch, carrying a little too much weight today, balanced outline, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, broad deep chest, correct topline and short strong loin, nicely angulated front and rear quarters. Movement was little lethargic RBOB.

A 19th month old bitch, showing a typical outline for the breed, head of the correct proportions, slightly domed skull, well feathered ears, dark eyes and the correct bite, short strong neck, well laid shoulders, level back front and nicely angulated front and rear quarters, she moved well with the correct tail carriage, RBOB.

A 3 year old bitch, very typical outline for the breed being balanced and in proportion, proud head carriage and I was impressed with her movement which was free and active, slightly domed skull, ears well set on, dark eyes and the correct bite. Neck strong and well set on, level topline, well sprung ribcage, just enough turn of stifle and hocks well let down, a well deserved BOB.

2nd. Mr. & Mrs. R Thornley-Taylor, Balgay Mi Belle at Saxtead.

A 5-year-old bitch, domed skull, ears carried correctly, dark eyes and the correct bite, muzzle correct, strong neck, level back, well sprung ribcage, correct tail set and nicely angulated front and rear quarters, she moved soundly.

A 9-year-old male, showing a typical breed outline, being well balanced throughout, lovely head proportions, dark eyes and ears well carried. Level back, well sprung ribcage, correct angulation front and rear, tail well set on and carried correctly, his movement was a little unsettled on the day but good to see him out enjoying himself.

1st. Mrs. D Rudderham, Pinrow Midnight Mischeif at Dejaru.

A 22 month old black bitch, showing the correct balanced outline for the breed, coat in excellent condition and well presented, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite and dentition. Neck of the correct length, well laid shoulders, and a deep brisket, correct spring of rib, and ribcage carried well back, short loin. She has well bet stifles and low set hocks, tail carried correctly, she moved effortlessly around the ring showing reach and drive in profile, a young bitch and I feel she has a bright future in the show ring, BOB and Utility group winner.

2nd. Mr. G W Cherry, Lynces more Than a Dream.

An 18 month old bitch and half sister to the class winner, another very typical example of the breed but she seemed a little unsettled on the day, correct head and muzzle, dark eyes and the correct bite, strong neck, well laid back shoulders and a deep chest, ribs nicely sprung and carried well back, level back and a short strong loin. Nicely angulated front and rear quarters, low set hocks, her movement was a little erratic but when settled she was sound and true.

A 5 year old bitch, being well balanced and in proportion, feminine throughout, head of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, neck well set on, well laid shoulders, chest of the correct depth, ribs carried well back, level back and a short loin. Tail carried correctly, she moved well showing reach and drive.

2nd. Mrs. D Crawford, Silgarhi O’ De Chen at Nytechorus.

A 5 year old male and litter brother to the class winner, I preferred his sister as she has a more balanced and typical outline, I would have preferred more masculinity for a male, a well proportioned head and muzzle, dark eyes and the correct bite, level back, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, coat in good condition and ell presented, moved well.

A 5-year-old bitch, well balanced outline and typical for the breed, feminine throughout, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, neck well set on, correct head carriage, shoulders well laid back, level back, correct spring of rib and a short strong loin, she moved steadily showing reach and drive, RBOB.

A 5 ½ year old male, I preferred the overall balance and outline of the class winner, masculine head and muzzle, dark eyes and the correct bite, level back, deep chest, ribcage carried well back, correct tail carriage, he moved steadily with reach and drive.

A 4 year old Bedlington male, a lovely example of the breed, balanced and in proportion, his head is as described in the standard, dark eyes and the correct bite. He has a long neck well set on, well laid shoulders and a deep chest, topline as it should be with a rise over the loin and the required tuck up. Coat in good condition and well presented, he moved with a light springy step and deserved his win today.

2nd. Mrs. I & Miss S Smith, Portnall Elrick Zu Sarocal ShCM (German Shepherd Dog).

A 5 year old male, he impressed me with his overall breed type, well balanced and in proportion, masculine throughout, head of the correct proportions and a strong powerful muzzle, dark eyes and well set ears, correct bite. Long strong neck, well laid shoulders and a deep chest, correct topline, strong rear quarters and correct bend of stifle, correct feet, his movement was sound and true coming and going and he strode out in profile.
