Open show

16 October 2021

Congratulations to the officers & committee of this society for staging a very well-run show & especially during the current period of so many challenges. I enjoyed this appointment very much indeed & was very pleased with my winners & was especially encouraged to see a number of very promising young dogs which, after our period of enforced lockdown, augurs well for the future of our hobby. It was also good to see a number of enthusiastic young handlers competing alongside our much-valued seasoned exhibitors. Everything was run with military precision & I would like to thank my stewards for helping things to run so smoothly. Many thanks also to the society for my gift. Well-publicised ‘not before’ judging times point to the excellent organisational skills of the society, as do the quickly-produced results print-outs on the day. A very slick operation indeed & I wish the society all the best for the future.
