East of England Agricultural Society Open Show 7 July 2021

Griffon Bruxellois

Puppy 1 Swinge’s Balthazar Supersonic. I predict his name will be a good predictor of his career. He is a very smart young dog, with some very attractive breed qualities. Square, cobby and smart, he’s soundly built and his movement is true. I liked his head and large eyes giving a alert expression. I awarded him Best of Breed and Best Puppy. 2 Potts’ Adreeam Secret Affair. Square and cobby, moderately rounded skull, dark eyes.

Junior 1 Swinge’s Balthazar Sweet Talkn Woman. Moved well when settled. Square and cobby. Rounded skull with suitably dark eyes.

Postgraduate 1 Swinge’s Balthazar Dream Lover. Positive mover, sound and true. Like her head with alert expression from her dark and round eyes.

Open 1 Swinge’s Balthazar Tainted Love. Another super quality exhibit. Square, sound and cobby, short and level back with high set tail that she carried gently over her back. Head is well proportioned with high set ears.

Maltese

Puppy 1 Jonusaite’s Oskar Pljus Jackpot for Emperatrice. A sweet tempered puppy with super straight and silky coat, pure white. Good pigmentation. Correctly proportioned head, in balance with body. Was quite excitable but moved well with flowing action. 2 Pry-Lockier’s Glittering Twinkle Bell. Good size, short back, moved stylishly. 3 Monument’s Davilize Dream of my Twin.

Junior 1 Jonusaite’s Emperatrice Alicante Moon. Sadly, impossible to judge her movement as she was stubbornly playing up for her very diligent and professional exhibitor. She’s well built, so I’m sure she has it in her! Good straight and pure white coat, correct pigmentation, level topline.

Open 1 Lees’ Vin’s Style Polly with Lafford (Imp). Loved her head, gently rounded with well defined stop and correct proportions. Coat is pure white, straight and silky, she has correct black pigmentation throughout. Moved freely with style. 2 Jonusaite’s Emperatrice Hot Capuchino JCH Moved well, silky coat, liked her head, correct pigmentation.

Working group

1 – Newfoundland. Mills & Chatburn’s Zentaur Drop It Like It’s Hot for Oialt (AI) JW. A very smart and eye-catching bitch. Substantial bone throughout, solid and well balanced with correct angulation, strong level topline and well muscled and together this produced strong effortless movement, I loved watching her.
